  1. I put Trent right below Bledsoe. The cast that Trent as to deal with way lower than what Dilfer had in Balt.

Hello.. Shannon Sharpe! Qb's best friend.

Not too mention the defense giving him the ball every other snap. As compared to the Bills defense the last couple of years that couldn't make a stop on 3rd down to save one of their own lives.

  2. I FOR ONE IS GIVIN IT UP FOR STEVE JOHNSON, I WANT TO SEE THIS KID TRUE POTENTIAL OR IF HE IS A HERE AND THERE KINDA PLAYER! IT WOULD ALSO BE GREAT TO SEE HARDY FINALLY BE WORTH A CLAP OR TWO. EASLEY IS SOME1 IN A FEW YEARS I CAN SEE MAY ADD SUM HELP TO THE POSITION, BUT I DONT WANT TO THINK A YEAR OR 2 MY GOD WE NEED EXCITEMENT NOW HAVE MERCY! YOUR THOUGHTS......

I think that Steve Johnson is the most ready to start at this moment. This to me is going to be one of the more interesting battles in camp. Hardy and Johnson will be battling, while Roscoe is the main man in the slot.

The good thing about Johnson is his versatility. He can line up inside and/or outside and be productive. Hardy on the other hand, is more the outside receiver. I feel like Hardy may have the most potential, but Johnson is the most pro ready we have.

Easley looked good in spring but I think we fade once the pads go on. He is deceptively fast and will be good on special teams if nothing else. He needs to work on getting bigger and work on his route running.

Roosevelt will be someone else to look at in camp. This guy seems just to make plays even though he is small in stature.

I really like how hungry this group is. We don't need that many receivers to keep active due to the number of good rbs we have. Don't forget CJ can always line up in the slot as well.

    We will see soon enough.

  3. As this thread has discussed, I think this team still has too many holes to fill to compete this season.

Multiple OL/DL/LB starters and depth are still needed.

We have our starters for our defensive front seven. Used draft picks, free agency, etc.

What happened to "it start with the line up front."

We need to add depth and Calloway would be alright I guess. I havent seen him to much at guard, but I do like Meredith as our swing tackle.

  4. I assure you interior line depth is not this teams biggest need of concern.

    Pick any of these before interior line depth;

    • Which OLB is capable of creating a pass rush.
    • NT in the 3-4 is being played by an undersized Williams / a Rookie
    • Who is going to catch the ball?
    • starting Left Tackle
    • starting Right Tackle
    • starting Center - Hangartner cannot handle the NT's in our division and is average at best
    • Players learning new systems
    • Can our DB's who thrived in a zone style Tampa 2, now become cover corners?

    * No olb candidates on the market, except for maybe Bobby McCray and he hasnt played 3-4 before

    * I really think this will turn into a strong point. Like Kyle and Torrell a lot. Especially switching off

    * A number of players

    * Demetrius Bell if not Jamon Meredith

    * Cornell Green will do above average

    * Hang has been a product of a poor supporting group

    * What coaches are for and is natural. Nothing can rush it

    * They are the strong point of our team and in the top 5 in the NFL. We actually played a lot of man last couple years and have dont pretty well.

Like i said, for a running team which I think we will be this year. We need a solid line with good depth.

  5. Since this world cup started I've thought that Bob Bradley has looked a lot like DJ on the sideline. Does anyone else see the resemblance?

Been saying that for years that the two look a like. Same stare, but Bradley gets more involved in the game and shows more emotion.

I knew form the beginning of the game that R Clark had no business starting that game and it showed. Not only in the goal that he cause, but form Bradley making a early, early substitution. B Feilhaber should have been there the whole game as well as Edu.

Shame that the run is over, but it was exciting!

  6. This to me is the biggest need of concern for this team as a whole.

Our O- line starters are set, I understand that. But if one guy goes down, which happens a lot during the season, who do we turn too? Kirk Chambers?

Last year it was Seth Mckinney being that kind of that guy and that was one of the biggest disasters I have ever seen. The guy not only sucked but he got hurt every time he went in the game, and it wasn't that often.

Im just concerned with Wood, who I believe will get the job done, coming off of an injury might need a break every now and again. Its rare for a team's interior o-line to go through a whole season without getting injured. Even though Hang and Levitre were solid in that aspect last year.

I think this group will surprise some people with the level of play, I would just like to see an insurance option to go be signed if g-d forbid one goes down.

  7. forgot to mention that you are an assumptive person, to ASSUME that because a fan of a team in florida doesnt know who the secondor third yr linebacker from another division, who has been injured for a good part of his career, and hasnt really stood out among the leagues best, as well as played his college football far far from the sec or the acc.

the fact that you ASSUME other teams fans are even close to being on par with the passion for their team and the NFL (as you obviously are) as buffalo bills fan....... then you have never left WNY because once you pass pittsburgh and cleveland, there is huge dropoff in passion and knowledge, believe me half the bronco fans dont even know they traded brandon marshall. seriously.

good try on making an interesting post however. LOL

First, I have many hobbies. So you are the assumptive one here, assuming I dont have a hobby. Second, one of my hobbies include the Buffalo Bills and the NFL. Third, I have lived in Florida my whole life so i know the fan support down here is drastically different than up in the northeast. However, you will not find a bigger Bills fan in Florida than I am.

Poz has been one of the best LBs in the league, he just doesnt stand out because he doesnt comment on opponets through the media and has played on a sub-par team, including a subpar defensive line.

Dont assume buddy. You make an ass of yourself. Not me.

  8. ILOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL @U

you know every ilb in the league?

I lolololololololololololol at youuu... Because yes, I do know ILBs on every other teams or at least would recognize if I saw them. As would the majority of this forums contributors.

  10. jacksonville is suppose to be a college football town, not knowing who Poz is means you just meant someone real ignorant to football. Poz was the best linebacker in college when we drafted him. I think Poz is better known as a Nittany Lion then a Bill.

Dont know what makes you think that theyre a college football town. UNF in Jacksonville is probably the farthest thing from being a football school. The only thing would be that Georgia and Florida meet there to play once a year. The majority of fans come from either Athens or Gainesville.

Jacksonville just isnt cut out to have a NFL franchise. Plain and simple.

  11. Just being positive he said something good about us at the end of the article. What I liked more was the article about the 34 and how left tackles are overvalued in the NFL these days. Think about who the colts, saints, steelers had at LT. Not a 1st round pick...

I cant agree more with Kyle Williams saying offensive that faced us knew what we were going to do. That was the most frustrating part about our defense last year. That and not stopping the run. Which forced us to be vanilla...

  12. Mike Freeman of CBS is saying that the owner's are going to decide to move the Jags to most likely L.A in 2 or 3 years. Of course its not for sure, but I can definitely see that it could be true after going to the Bills v. Jags last year. No fan support and a badly located stadium.

One of the fans dint know who Paul Posluszny was, I know because I was wearing Poz's jersey. Said he never heard of him.

I think this bodes well for our future in Buffalo. Thoughts????

  13. I have been saying this all along, its their plan to use all 3, except that people have to stop thinking of Spiller as a RB, expecially the #2 back. Jackson and Lynch are the #1a & 1b RB's, Spiller will fill in for either and take a few carries a game, but he will also be used to catch passes out of the backfield. THATS WHAT HE WAS DRAFTED FOR. He is not a replacement for Lynch, he is to completement a team that is going to focus its offence on keeping the ball on the ground and use screen passes to move the chains.

Its not that hard to understand, and its the reason why Gailey and Nix aren't actively trying to shop Lynch

I have to agree with you whole-heartedly. The Bills need CJ to be a playmaker and be lined up everywhere. I never got the reasons to trade Lynch. This guy will have a 100 yard game and all will be forgotten.

Everybody on the offense, and I mean everybody, needs to have a second chance with a new, and actually functional offense then what DJ immplemented all those years. Maybre Turk was right with his assessment on DJs offensive mindset at the beginning of last season.

  14. Ian Scott was with Chicago before SD and played exclusively in a tampa 2, which can be said about a lot of out current roster. I say no thanks, as we have already have enough of these said players. We need more like Dwan Edwards who in my opinion was and is a perfect fit for the Bills.

  15. I been a soccer fan for a long time and these thing are hardly new. I used to blow one at soccer games in Miami when I used to live down there. In fact, I still have mine at my house. Im watching a Marlins game where they gave the crowd them before the game and they are blowing them like crazy. I dont even notice them at soccer games. Its like the refrigerator drone, you just stop noticing.

  16. 81 Easley, Marcus WR 6-2 207 22 R Connecticut

    83 Evans, Lee WR 5-10 197 29 7 Wisconsin

    84 Hardy, James WR 6-5 220 24 2 Indiana

    15 Huggins, Felton WR 6-2 186 27 1 Southeastern Louisia

    17 Jackson, Chad WR 6-1 223 25 3 Florida

    13 Johnson, Steve WR 6-2 202 23 3 Kentucky

    19 Jones, Donald WR 6-0 214 22 R Youngstown State

    86 Nelson, David WR 6-5 217 23 R Florida

    11 Parrish, Roscoe WR 5-9 178 27 6 Miami

    18 Roosevelt, Naaman WR 6-0 189 R UB

I think Chan gives Roscoe another chance to prove he can play. He also has special team value, which i think will be utilized on punt returns. Im excited about Stevie Johnson, feel like he always makes the most of his opportunity. I like him as a number 4 receiver. With Easley and Evans starting and Hardy and/or Roscoe with Stevie Johnson.

I think Roosevelt will def be a PS player, but could be on the active roster if he can play ST. Think this kid has a bright future on the team.

What pissed me off about T.o last year was hbis lack of effort on some routes. He wouldn't finish his routes and would throw off the qbs rhythm. I think Lee will benefit from the size of the new Wrs. Letting him run free more often.
