I liked Vance McDonald from Rice at senior bowl practices. Big body, plays tough and caught everything. On one play he caught an over the shoulder pass over the middle and then lowered his shoulder to plow over the safety and keep trucking.

topic: qb problem starter is free agent 1. Chase Daniel, New Orleans. he can run Marrones system right away. His coaches rave over him, he feels he's the Man. 2. Matt Moore, Miami. Dolphns were better w/ him starting last year then super hyped rookie. 3. T.J. Yates , Houston via UNC played good last year when was forced to start. Big pocket passer We Draft > somebody or somebodies Wilson Ark., Barkley Usc., Rogers Vandy., Scott Ariz., Doege Texas Tech , Renfree , Duke., Nassib, CUSE.

Realistic Supporting Staff
greenmohawk replied to EmotionallyUnstable's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'll nominate Raheem Morris as defensive coordinator. He's young, high energy, did a nice job in Washington this year. And could give Marrone some added NFL insight without threatening his job. Maybe just opposite the failed Dave Wannstedt enough to get the players on dee to wake up and play w/ some passion. -
Doug Marrone will work out nice. The roster fits the Saints mold pretty good. But we need some receivers that can catch. On defense, SU liked to blitz from all over. The linebackers need to be fast and hit. Can Kelvin Sheppard slice through the line and make tackles for losses? SU was fourth in the country in tackles for loss. Is Jairus Byrd a big hitter at safety? I think he goes with a hitter rather than a cover guy.

It's a different kind of NFL, where maybe the 6'1 mobile guy is more covetted then the 6'6 pocket passer. The draft class for QBs does not look good at first but maybe it's stocked w/ RG3 and wilson types. Things will become a lot clearer after the combine. My list, guys who can perform, find the end zone, lead and acheive Victory. 1 Matt Barkley, going #1 overall 2 Tyler Wilson 3 Geno Smith 4 Nick Florence, Baylor 5 Seth Doege, Texas Tech 6 Jordan Rodgers, Aaron Rodgers brother. Vanderbilt 7 Matt Scott, Arizona 8 Ryan Nassib, SU

I like T.J. Yates from Houston too, maybe he could get it done here. A couple other names . Matt Moore and Stephen McGee .There are a few guys in the upcoming draft that will emerge from senior bowl, all star games and nfl combine. . But, it's just ridiculous that the Bills didn't draft Kirk Cousins when he came out of college.

Offer Huge Money To Defensive Guru...
greenmohawk replied to The Voice of Truth's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Our defense could not be any worse then now. We don't need the high priced guy but maybe a passionate firey guy who is also looking for a break. A guy like .... Mike Stoops, Oklahoma. He'll call up some blitzes and throw around some high fives like Mike Tomlin or Pete Carroll. These guys play to tight and need to get aggressive and start flying to the ball and crackn' people. The kind of Dee Dave W used to coach. -
Maybin is a pass rush specialist, the Bills never played him. When he went to the Jets he proved he can bring the heat, the Bills were stupid to not use the man correctly. He could of been a hell of a player for us.

Are the Linebackers really this bad?
greenmohawk replied to VirginiaMike's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You're right Sheppard is stinking it up, he 's in there on potential. That he will be better w some experience. But I think i've seen enough too, the position was better served w Scott McKillop plugging the holes. -
Shawne merriman is back with the Bills
greenmohawk replied to superbills315's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The team was more stout vs the run when he was in there in the preseason, did you watch the games or read the stats? -
Shawne merriman is back with the Bills
greenmohawk replied to superbills315's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Merriman is our Ray Lewis, he inspires the guys around him to step it up and be tough. Not the team that gives up 300 yards passing and 300 yards rushing. -
Fitz numbers from Sunday per PFF
greenmohawk replied to cmjoyce113's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
How can he throw every pass behind the receiver? Fitz can't hit a receiver in stride all year. But he's all we got, average. Sometimes good. Sometimes bad. How could they not of drafted Nick Foles this year? -
What a great time, 40% of the crowd was for the Bills. A few thoughts. - people in Arizona were great hosts, the fans at the game were first class. - the stadium was ridiculously mint. - the team was inspired by the Bills fans presence. - the whole trip was cheap. i got my 8 tickets on stubhub for less then face value, beers 7.50, hotel cheap from hotwire ( $42 for 3 stars) parking $10. etc. - Terrance McGee still our best cb, the man is a shadow and has ball skills. - Mario Williams was a destructive force. - the bills fan base is huge and national.

Johnny Hammerstick's Mock Draft
greenmohawk replied to Johnny Hammersticks's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Floyd looks like a star and says his problem party days are over, he has grown up.. He is a guy that will go get the ball and push the defender to the ground. Vin Curry looks real average to me, at the senior bowl he looked like just a guy. The Linebackers could be sweet, it would be great if the Bills could get at least one of these guys. 7th round I'd take the flame thrower from SDSU Lindley, I've seen this guy make some incredible throws. Maybe a center thrown in the mix, just in case. Knock on wood. -
Stevie wants to be a Free Agent, test the market and make a fat check. The Bills can't wait on him then, they must actively pursue other wide receivers so not left with a hole in the lineup. He can be replaced, but a 6-7 tightend thats' a touchdown scoring machine must be resigned.

Starting a franchise with 5 players...
greenmohawk replied to deep2evans's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm game. *Phillip Rivers *Chris Johnson *Jake Long *A J Green *Calvin Johnson NFL rules favor offense, might as well try and outscore everybody and build a dee like the colts , made for having the lead. -
I thought he played great w/ a lot of passion. Aside from the big whiff that almost blew it. Deion Sanders on the NFL network just called him The MVP of the SF defense Saturday. I enjoy watching former Bills players and wish them all well.

what pick would you despise at number 1?
greenmohawk replied to Trader's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives

WR Michael Floyd always looked liked the best player on the field during Notre Dame games. He fits perfect in the Bills passing game . He catches, he blocks and runs routes. I think he should be our #1 draft pick. -
I B . Weeden Through QB's In the Draft
greenmohawk replied to T master's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Weeden would provide some nice competition for Fitz, a guy to change it up on those days Fitz can't throw the ball. But the guy I'd like is San Diego State’s Ryan Lindley. He's looked real good with a big arm. Take him late and develop as #2 on the bench. -
Bengals begging for fans to show up
greenmohawk replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Peoples wages have gone down, NFL salaries have gone up. Ticket prices are too high. The good folks of Cincinnati are feeling the economic squeeze on the working man. Rip out the seats and put in more luxury boxes for the millionaires. -
It's a shame the owners comments about needing a new runner and receiver that don't get hurt probably signal he won't pay Fred or Stevie. Would of been a nice 1-2 punch next year. Too bad for us Bills fans.

Who Are Your Top 5 Candidates For Head Coach
greenmohawk replied to Hater's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Chan Gailey. Besides, the last coaching search was a disaster w/ no one wanting to come here. All these lists are a joke. . Chan will get it done but I think Perry Fewell had this team playing w some fire. We shoulda stuck with him. -
AJ Smith Coming back to Buffalo?
greenmohawk replied to MacAddict104's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Spanos let all that talent walk out the door and the team fell apart bc his cheap ass wouldn't pay anyone, the team went to crap bc of the owner.
