  1. When he's on I watch the game with the sound off. I can not stand how he announces as if the listener is the head coach of the team always telling us what we are doing wrong. Hell, I just turned on the TV. I'm not the coach or GM. I am so glad he's off the tube. Now his buddy Joe is going to hose MNF next year on ESPN.
  2. He's gone a long way towards perfecting his slightly out of it look he sports on the sidelines with his laminated play chart sticking out of the front of his pants. The gut always seems like he's one play behind the action. But on the positive side he has toned down that blond dye job on his hair.
  3. When I had a discectomy in my neck earlier this year and had a titanium plate installed I just walked it off until I got viral pneumonia in June. I'll be glad to see this year gone !
  4. Here's your answer >> It's not about you or me or any of the fans. F the fans. F the W/L record and beyond. It is all about making money, revenue, profit as a business. As a business the Bills are fine and making money. As a business the Pirates are fine and making money. Both have losing records but they make a profit and that's good enough. Mark Cuban tried to buy the Pirates and they told him to go away. They like things like they are now. Ralph Wilson made his runs at the Super Bowl and look what happened. He's too old to do that futile task again in his life. At his age I'll be lucky if someone changees my Depends once every four hours. Now next question please ...
  5. Frozen or not PLEASE take your out of town company to the Canadian side of the falls. They'll be able to stand right at the brink and the grounds are kept up. If they have never seen it in person it will be well worth the trip.
  6. If only Flutie had been chosen over Rob Johnson, the disastrous personnel decisions made after his departure would not have happened and that 9/11 thing wouldn't have happened either.
  7. A glass bong in the shape of a cowboy boot?
  8. Oh I see now ... this really isn't about a girlfriend at all but about the Bills and their whining fans. OK, in that case my answer would be the girl would realize she's not a girlfrienmd at all but a prostitute. The fans pay money to see her do her thing and when it doesn't turn us on we either want improvement or we're going to stop wasting our time and money. This Bills/Fans thing isn't puppy love. It's a business where the Bills have made oodles of money off of the fans trust and hope the team would improve. We're more than tired of playing Charlie Brown to the team's Lucy.
  9. He sounds a lot like John Brodie used to sound ... but he's a moron.
  10. I had the same picks and they both covered the spread. It was a sweet day to go 2 - 0.
  11. Exactly correct. But it would take A LOT of $$ to rebuild an O-Line and do a great job at it. Because lots of fans don't understand the importance of a great O-Line that investment will not sell more tickets. Therefore I seriously doubt Bills management will do anything more than put a band-aid on a bullet hole once agin in the off season. Although they may sign a big name has been to sell more tickets.
  12. He is going to die. It's not an "if" question. When he does research will show the team will make the most money staying put right in Western New York. At that moment Bills fans will have a 50/50 chance that a new owner will emerge with sincere intentions of making the team a Championship team once again. That is my hope and my prayer. Amen.
  13. That's the truth. When I over do it on a Sunday, I get through Monday OK but I'm hurtin on Tuesday. Welcome to the club.
  14. I dunno .. it all would depend on how nice of a body she has. Show me a photo and then I'll decide
  15. Once God almighty decides he'd like Ralph Wilson to join him for breakfast then we might stand a chance. We would have to get a new owner interested in top performance on the field starting with the O-Line retsructure instead of an owner interested in making a profit and damning the W/L record.

  20. East-West is my favorite. Bloomfield was an underrated blues great.
  21. The song is Little Green Bag from the movie Resivoir Dogs
  22. Nights in white satin, never reaching the end, Letters I've written, never meaning to send. Beauty I'd always missed, with these eyes before, Just what the truth is, I can't say anymore. I'll tell you what. These are some down and out blues lyrics. This guy is beyond hurtin'. His bunions is killin him. Today ... the band changed its name to The Moody Booty Blues.
  23. There are all kinds of blues. I mostly like blues with a very good blues guitar player. I’ll give you some options here. You can listen to the samples and decide what you like. All of the choices below are only my humble personal opinion. Someone else might not like them and that’s fine. It’s all a matter of what sounds good to you. A fine place to start is with the Bluesbreakers album. This is Eric Clapton with John Mayall. The bass player is John McVie. Once they were done with this group, Clapton formed Cream and McVie became a part of Fleetwood Mac. This is the album where Clapton set the standard he had to live up to in the future. His playing on Hideaway is a masterpiece. http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detai...=glance&s=music There are at least three Kings in the blues. Most people have heard of BB King (The Thrill is Gone). My favorite King is Albert King. The other one I like is Freddie King. Here are a couple of choices for Albert King: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detai...=glance&s=music Try tracks 1,3,5,7,8 Albert King Live: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detai...=glance&s=music When Albert King connected with Stax Records in Memphis he really did his best work. He basically had Booker T and the MGs as his back-up band. He’s a trip. For a different flavor, you could try Freddie King: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detai...=glance&s=music He did a hell of a version of Don Nix’s “Goin’ Down”. Jeff Beck does a great job on that song too. If you like a bit of jazz mixed in with the blues, you could try this recent release from Larry Carlton. Larry is a jazz player. He made a name for himself with the Jazz Crusaders (Put it where you want it) and he did a lot of great solo work with Steely Dan. Listen to a few of these tracks and see if you like his style: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detai...=glance&s=music One of the very best that ever existed has to be Muddy Waters. He isn’t a guitar slinger like the guys above are known for. As a matter of fact his solos are unique expressions of joy more than anything else. I love the way he sings. Try the songs “The Same Thing” and “Rollin’ and Tumblin’”see what you think. The Rolling Stones worshiped him and names their band after one of his songs. http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detai...=glance&s=music If you like some humor mixed with the blues (and you love dogs) you could try Dog Party by Scott Henderson. This man can play. http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detai...=glance&s=music I know I left a lot of names off of this list like Stevie Ray Vaughan and Robert Johnson. I totally admire Vaughan because he took the time and energy to take the playing style of Albert King to the masses. It is hard as hell to play like Albert King and SRV did an awesome job of getting it down. Albert played a Gibson Flying V named Lucy left handed, with the strings upside down. Then he tuned it to an open chord and strung the guitar about two and a half steps lower than a normal guitar so he could bend the strings like they were rubber bands. I saw him a few times live. The best time was at Jerry Reed’s Golden Bear Club in Huntington Beach, Ca in 1979. He was in the top of his form and for what seemed like an older guy to me at the time, he played loud as hell. He just kept turning it up between songs when he wasn’t yelling at his band to play better. Albert was a mechanic, then a bulldozer driver, then and a drummer for Jimmy Reed before he picked up Lucy. He had to play the blues because after all, he was Born Under a Bad Sign. That’s my little bit on the blues for now. Write me @ gregory.nikiel@bearingpoint.com if you’d like to discuss the above or get more recommendations. Enjoy !
  24. Total ass kissers ~ they make me sick
  25. You like the blues. Get ready for some more of them. This is the BEST blues DVD I know of ... http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00016R12...&s=dvd&v=glance This is where SRV learned his trade. It is entertaining and it is sure going to beat watching the Bills lose on your brand new TV.
