We lost expertly. In fact, we were more effective than I've seen us at any point this season. Get that pick whoever it is.

OK But that is Nix and the new assistant GM from Pittsburgh. This next draft is more proving ground for them.

You get the QB first. Free agency is going to be a big factor.

The first thing, We need a competent and creative defensive coordinator that demands accountability. One who puts his players in position to succeed. League interception leader and rookie of the year candidate Byrd is without an interception and mostly chasing plays. Paluzney is less than average. Stroud is no longer a key contributor. Do we see any strong defensive rookie play this year? When Paluzney cannot cover an old and fat te Alge Crumpler we a problem in scheme and player When Gronkowski can go uncovered in the red zone, we have a serious problem in scheme and focus. Team was defeated going into halftime. Sorry Fitz but after that game if Cam Newton is there I take him before you can blink an eye.

Another NFL in L.A. article but...
whodat replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Amazing no one here heard you. California doesn't have a pot to piss in and your talking about them building a new stadium. In 2 years Obama will sell it (ca) to China as part of another new Stimulus or should I say stɪmjələs package at that point. -
For Christmas, I would like a retractable roof so we could retract it for Miami. PS plus snow making equipment too. Thanks in advance Santa.

Maybe Al Davis can move the Raiders back to LA then back to Oakland on an alternating basis. There problem solved. Nothing really has to change.

I'm back to report my findings on Moch. I regret to inform you. This is a Major 'Bust' Alert. I would not pick him under any circumstances. Repeat, under no circumstances. Moch = Maybin My advice go with Beal. He explodes into people. He doesn't just impact a play, he blows it up. Right now, he's projected as a 2nd rounder. That means he'll be a late to mid first rounder by draft day. And if you need any more reason to like him Solomon Wilcots won't stop chanting his name when he does Beals games.
-
CBS sports nfl/draft has Moch rated as the 37th in their overall ranking and at 6-1 245 they have him running a 4.38 forty. If this is true, he’s the type that will kill at the combine. No way he stays in the 2nd round. Just look at Jacksonville last year. They took a 2nd round rated dt at the 11th pick. Some of these guys fly up the board especially those with sexy numbers. You have curiosity up now. I’ll have to check him out on youtube.
-
This guy keeps getting faster in each thread I read. Can he be that good and not be a first round pick. And really can a linebacker be faster than Spiller. Would we see him cover Evans on a go route in practice? I like mock drafts but if everyone is starting to look like 1st round fringe material what's April going to bring.

No, Thank you. No welcome you. Noo thank you very much. Noo welcome you very much. I mean thank you very much. Your very welcome. There settled. Life can be complex. That’s why Gore invented the internet.

Impressive! You guys handled these apparent immovable positions with such superior negotiating skill and ease. that I want to be the first to nominate you both to the future arbitration panel that I am sure will become a popular feature of this site. Seriously. But not so seriously. Why did I post this? I was moved. Really I was. And I just want to add, though unrelated but seems apropos in giving this post more purpose, that the expression ‘having said that’ should be outlawed. I beseech the Future Arbitration panel which is yous. Please make a ruling. Having said that, oh never mind. This was probably a bad idea. Can we have both Castanso and Quinn. But Castanso sounds too much like that guy on Seinfeld. Oh there I go again. But that was a good debate!

Incognito was mistake to let go
whodat replied to Logical Reasoning's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I was playing the sarcastic cards. Apparently I need a new deck. I am happy diving into dumpsters for talent if that is what practice squad players are to some. I like the way Buddy and Chan are managing this team. This is an especially good time for trying out new players when other clubs are striving for the playoffs and committed to their squads as constructed. If we can pick off a few good players than great and it looks like we have. Richie Incognito is not missed. Does anyone know how bad Craig Urbik's knee was injured? -
Incognito was mistake to let go

I was just starting to feel good about all these new acquisitions. Fortunately though, the Doctor was in the house to set me straight. I heard those dumpsters get mighty tempting after a bottle or 2 of boonsberry farm. Thanks again Dr. Trooph for bringing the troo reality of despair to light. Like hope through an hour glass, I needed that Buzz kill. By the way does anyone know how bad Craig Urbik’s knee injury was? I didn’t hear any reports. -
Increase taxes. Decrease taxes. Fine. But what are you going to do with the real problem? Do you think every tax dollar serves a good cause, is spent efficiently, is respected like it was earned by the spender. Or do you think this is more like giving your teenage daughter more allowance so she can pay the interest and continue using her credit card. Why does government have to keep getting bigger? Why do government employees make 75% more than their counterparts in the private sector (salary & benefits) or pay no social security tax or why this sector is expanding while the private sector is shrinking. In gaining a truer perspective note this example; comparing apples to apples if all the federal tax of a private sector worker went to support the employ of a comparable public sector worker the ratio would be 10 to 1 private sector jobs needed to pay for one government job. And yet they see expanding federal jobs as stimulus spending. It’s this approach to economy that has NY and CA near bankruptcy and how Italy, Germany and France are in the throes of it. This is the new reality. There is no common sense when it comes to government spending and accountability. They talk of a federal wage freeze as setting an example. What a joke. Instead try scaling it back. Wouldn’t that be a stimulus for the private sector – start by cutting federal jobs, reducing the wage scale and their100% pension benefits they start collecting the day after they leave as setting an example. Working for the government used to mean sacrificing a lower wage for higher security and benefits. That’s been corrupted. Public sector workers have been made into the new privileged elite class. This has to be turned on its head. A new culture is needed in the capital. There are entire government departments that should be eliminated or decentralized and managed from the state level. Instead we have this overlapping, redundant, multi-layered bureaucracy. The Department of education serves as a good example. More and greater spending has done nothing if not to make worse the declining effectiveness of our education system. The bureaucracy of government, unions, teachers and administrators eat up the bounty and leave the classroom with the leftovers. Many states have taken their lead from what has become the national theme, what can government do for you along with programs that appropriately defy logic. But that is what happens I guess when the goal is to try to be everything to everybody. You become the great guarantor. Subsidizing Farmers not to farm their land, People not to work and Wall Street to pass it’s risk to others - us. Is there really a reason why we still have a large military presence in Germany? Whether it’s the big D or the big R, there’s just too much of both of you! The reality is the plight begins with the low respect given to the source of the revenue because the spender is not the earner. Like the young child that naively thinks money just drops out of the sky, to these people money is not a variable to worry about. It just is, like costs should always go up and budget allocations have automatic increases built-in and the philosophy of spend it or lose it is the prevalent methodology. Programs and departments become intertwined and inner-dependant must justify relevance by growing. Programs once started find reason to live forever. New departments created to manage old departments that have grown too big to be effective. Now stimulus is the new word for more and bigger. That’s the answer for recession? More stimulus, more government on the backs of a dwindling private sector. We have more local, state and federal representation than ever. What was once part time patriotic work is now full time and full benefits. Instead of protecting the rights and freedoms of the individual, the emphasis has changed to promoting the world’s greatest Ponzi scheme. For many republicans and democrats, politics has become a way of life that reflects their special place of influence. The reflective attitude is how much can I get out of this for me. It is the perfect lobby system and the perfect money pump where all participants live the life. And the tax payer gets screwed. Government needs reform but don’t expect much from those crusty politicians of their own volition. The new blood from the November elections will bring some new attitudes and fresh approaches I pray. But there remains the old guard of both sides. Are they all double dealers and predominantly motivated by self interest? Well, it’s prominent on both sides. Former Republican House majority leader Dennis Hastert left, retiring in a cloud of smoke with a scandalous $6.5 million land deal, where he used his influence to build a highway through land he purchased for the occasion netting himself a $6 million additional retirement bonus. Democratic Senate majority leader Harry Reed who started out with average means has become one of the richest members in Congress over his career. Amazing how those investments always come up big. Nancy Pelosi thought of herself as America’s queen and wanted the showy privileges that even the queen of England would consider audacious including a taxpayer paid private 200 seat 737 jetliner always on call and used often. Three times a week to and fro her home state to be exact at a cost of $480,000 a month. Most of them have made their careers off cronyism. Change and reform will only come from a loud, demanding, persistent and unyielding commitment to challenge those who we have placed in positions of trust and to do what is right by this great citizenry. Elections are nice but so far it seems, they just change who gets paid. How do we get to where we need to go from here? My advice. The States have shown the way good and bad.. Don’t take the path to ruin as NY and CA have revealed. Look at the example of a state that is climbing out of a very big hole, New Jersey. Follow the direction of States that people and businesses are moving to. Signed … Time To Take A Stand

Sully is the turd in the punch bowl. This town has the worst sports media in the country. It's not close. I listen to internet radio. I enjoy listening to Boston, Denver, Indianapolis and others. The quality of the broadcasts, the content, the personalities, the professionalism, wit, style and entertainment value are so far beyond wgr that we're not even in the same stratosphere. Go to radiotime or search google for other sites. You won't regret it guaranteed. (http://radiotime.com) search by location or sports talk.

Peter King Writes Regarding Fitzpatrick
whodat replied to Ghost of Rob Johnson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I presume then you disagree with Chan on his analysis of Fitz's abilities. -
Come on man, snap out of it! When the heck did slower ever become a need. You should be writing for Saturday Night Live, I think they need the help. I like Bell though at either tackle spot but we need 2 more players free agency and high draft pick to fortify the position. I would say Bob in STL no doubt about it has it down pat. Sounds like an ex-pro.

Ok. I appreciate your comments. I’m sorry for the misunderstanding as well. Leodis has shown from a previous incident that his heart is in the right place. He has my respect both on and off the field. We all have different skill sets. We grow and we evolve as life takes away one thing and replenishes with another. Who knows as Joe Biden once had a speaking problem, Leodis 15 years from now, may be the next Joe Theismann. But that’s whole other thread.

CodeMonkey Sounds like the only banter you enjoy is that shared with your computer while writing code. Sad, so sad. Maybe you should try a Bills tailgate party.

Thanks. I appreciate the insights and wit.
