Working on it in Buffalo. Hope they can pull off a nice LT in the 1st this year and get Wood back or Incognito signed (or all 3). With the luck Mr. Wilson was talking about and the conditioning Buddy Nix was talking about + the coaching up of the young players they can get as good as the Jets.
-
It would be great from a building stand point. Younger receivers coming up (Hardy, Johnson, ), Evans, Jackson, and Lynch could really be used, and we could spend that 1st rounder on a LT. Brohm and Fitz could remain backups and we could get a DT or Linebacker in the 2nd round.

What's the big deal? He's an honest guy coming in and knowing that he isn't the fan favorite star that the media and fans were looking for. He knows what the problems are with the organization and team. (offensive production, coaching up players, injuries...). the list goes on and on and he stated the list during that same introduction interview. Give the guy a shot. At least he is honest, experienced, and is working on the problems in a practical and strategic way given the guardrails and probable limitations of working for Mr. Wilson in terms of decisions and payroll. Time will tell the tale and Buddy Nix isn't trying to throw BS just use common sense. On a side note, The Jets beat the Bengals in a methodic and sound way. Wish the Bills fired Jauron last season and hired Rex Ryan.

The Ball Hawk....... I like that! -
Frazier interviewing with Seattle. Or not. Or he is after all.
Tasmo replied to dgrid's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Here, here! Prepared and ready baby. Just hope the Bills don't drag their feet to long and lose out on a top guy like Frazier. Put it this way, He played with the 85 Bears. Can you think of a more fun team?? What a bunch of characters! Bring that to Buffalo and package it with a win over Cowher's new team next year -
Wilson updates AP on Bills coaching search
Tasmo replied to Delete This Account's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Get ready baby because his "oh, I am not interested in coaching at this time." statement is probably coming. So what now? Forget about it. She doesn't want to go to the dance. Forget about it. Desperation is weak. Move on to plan B. Remember Blues Brothers.."We're on a mission from god." -
If you looked up Mr. Rogers on Wikipedia it used to tell you he always had a sweater on because he had a sleeve of tattoos.

Don't know if I would cash the chips in on Lynch just yet. A different coach, cleaned up lifestyle, and some time could do wonders for this guy. He is a monster. Everybody wrote off Ricky "the Yogi" Williams and now he is part of a double headed monster down in Miami. Remember the pictures of Williams laying in that tent over in India or somewhere?? That was some crazy meltdown. Lynch is no place near that point of crazy.

Yes, a new helmet for sure! It will have a running Buffalo for the 1st 3 quarters and then the image will roll over in the 4th.

Take Brian Schottenheimer name out!
Tasmo replied to buffalo1983's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If he loves it down there so much with good ol Rex then let him stay. It will be fun watching the new Bills smack Sanchez around like a rag doll. -
7 million for the golden boy eh.. Chicken scratch. Let the bidding begin for Cowher's services baby. We need that chin in Buffalo.

unsubstantiated rumors thread: COWER TO BUFFALO!!
Tasmo replied to BillsBacker5545's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Definitely an interesting scenario unfolding here. Worst case is that the Bills don't pay up and Cowher goes another direction if he hasn't already. Those pricks he works with on CBS don't respect Buffalo. I could sense Marino's sarcasm on Sunday when he was suggesting that Cowher would be right back at the anchor desk next year because of the lack of quality openings this year. Best case scenario is that the Bills pay up for Cowher and his all star cast and he comes in with guns blazing, kicks the crap out of this roster, wins some tough games with young talented players, earns back the Bills credibility, and puts it in the face of all the doubters out there in the national media guru circle. -
Stadium group in L.A. targeting Jags, Bills
Tasmo replied to \GoBillsInDallas/'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This makes me angry. WTF! I just wish Ralph Wilson would put this sh*t to rest, but instead we are left here to take it up the yin yang again from these national media punks. If they were in the room I'd give em an Atlantic City Avalanche!! Old Skool brother!!!!!!! -
Billick, Brian S, Rivera....what happened to Cowher?
Tasmo replied to DarthICE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Billick, Cowher, who gives a sh*t really? They all have more Super Bowl rings than the Bills do and they are bad As*es! I would love to see either one stalking the sidelines. These guys are credible no BS coaches that can make teams pay. Wouldn't it be great to rock some worlds out there again. No more weak defensive stands. No more pus*sy footing around. National media and the other teams would know we were on the schedule. Tough, mean, and nasty. Love it baby! -
I hope the new coach and Nix can talk him in to staying. Lord knows losing for your whole career must drive a warrior like Schobel nuts.
-
True, the Bills don't deserve respect. They have lost it every time the national TV audience has watched us for the past ten years. Buffalo is an after thought, a nobody to the national media and I would wager that most folks outside of western NY don't even know Toronto is close to Buffalo. Point is, Respect is something that must be earned. The Bills need to stop beating themselves first then beat the snot out of everyone else for a few seasons. It starts now. Billieve it.

One Thing Clearly demonstrated by the Nix hire
Tasmo replied to GrudginglyPessimistic's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You better believe Nix is better than Brandon. Man oh man! Can't wait to see what comes next. Could be anything and I am ready baby! Ready for the next move. Love the fact that in all the interview comments we have heard Nix points out the glaring needs of this team without any BS evasive maneuvers like coach Jauron. A vision for a team with an identity that is fit for Buffalo. Go man Go! Oh Yeah!! -

Yeah baby! That's the ticket. Why not look for a grand slam. Screw the whimpy wumpy stuff. Just swing for the parking lot! -
Love the Nix man baby. Old dogs are my thing. My grandfather was in a wheelchair, but that didn't mean he couldn't still run the farm. Its really just a matter of getting the right team together to make sh*t happen and plant the seeds if you know what I mean. This guy is no BS and as others have pointed out, knows the glaring problems and plans on fixing them. Trust in the old dogs.

I'm not seeing much talk about the Frank Reich reference...
Tasmo replied to SDS's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
True, it is hard to recreate greatness. There is a longer list of those who have tried and failed than succeeded, but it is happening and it is going to be great. Why not? It is a new year and the pieces are in motion. Nix is a seasoned veteran who doesn't throw BS. I can get behind that. Hopefully the coach and the coordinators are the right fit for this reunion tour of sorts. I could use some of the those sights and sounds of long ago recreated by a new cast and crew. Wouldn't it be great to put a Buffalo Stampede on the Patriots for a change? It has to start somewhere. Why not now? -
Hmm.. Who suggested Maybin? Let's promote them!
Tasmo replied to Chuckknox's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Wish Wood a quick recovery, but who knows where that will or could have gone.. Byrd is a keeper and Nelson will be the threat we have coveted ever since Moulds left. This guy will come around for sure once he settles in and can stay healthy. Levitre is nasty and gets beat up at times, but he will come around and stayed healthy and lucky. -
Here's to cloning 4 more Incognitos on the O-line! Just put different Tattoos on em so we can tell which one is smashing the faces of the opposition. Get a big armed QB that can make throws and improvise and we'll be in business. Nelson, Evans, Hardy, Jackson, Lynch, and Johnson could be a nice group of skill players if Reed, T.O., and Parrish go off into the free agent pool. Chris Brown is the MAN. Love this guy. Check out other team sites and nobody has anything like Browny. He is the MAN!

Get the band back together! It worked for the Blues Brothers why not these brother in arms? Why should they move on??? They want revenge and a title. Why do old fighters and race car drivers hang around so long?? Because they love the fight baby and are passionate about winning and taking on the competition for pride. Turning this heap of a team around means something to them and this area. I would much rather see this than knowing they are out there at the duck pond with a bag of old bread crumbs everyday pis*ing their time away. Happy Holidays and Here's to getting the band back together again to fight another day! -
Love the idea of using the older dogs to set the tone and support/guide the new generation. Even if Marty is not an option Brian could be knowing that his father and Nix are in the wings. Would definitely be interesting. Everyone knows the Jets can run the ball (right through the bills defense ). But the risk is that Brian is not his father and the players know this and if he is not ready to teach and lead like Nix wants it may be another hitch in the Bills giddy up.
