  1. I wonder if they might roll with Dodson & bring back Klien to rotate the 2. I suppose they might add a late free agent after the draft.
  2. Interesting concept but I think it's too much of a gamble for the current state of the Bills franchise. As other posters have stated a trade option might be in play if we can get a good haul.
  3. I don't get it--how do you bang chicks from your inbox ?
  4. Kind of a neat post but it seems like every year offensive lineman that slotted for the later rounds go higher. It's just my opinion but I think good OF lineman are the hardest position to draft. I hope the Bills don't dick around--do their homework & get 2 good lineman to protect Josh for the next 10 years.
  5. Trouble in paradise. Gee, I feel so bad for the greatest franchise & coach ever-----boo ho ho.
  6. Hopefully the Bills are serious about drafting a really good tackle this year--someone who could start at RT & maybe move to LT next year & then move Dawkins to guard.
  7. Can't wait until the draft over !!!
  8. I admit I don't know that much about him. I seem to remember reading some good reviews of him on the sports sites. Anyways I'm still sure the Browns will screw things up.
  9. Well, good young wide receiver---but I can help but think the Browns will screw him up---but then they have the highest paid QB in the league.
  10. I think a lot depends on how they replace Edmunds. I hope they don't take a DT in the draft before the 3-4 RD. I still think our current guys can work. DaQuan Jones obviously is a keeper. Settle didn't have a great year but he was very good in Washington so hopefully he can bounce back, Phillips for a reasonable price is a pretty good player. He's getting older so they might have limit his snaps. Brandin Byant is still a young & hasn't been too bad in the few games that he played in. Eli Ankou is still listed on the roster. I think he's played in a few games but I don't know much about him. He's good size but maybe he's just a JAG. If they can sign another DT in free agency at a reasonable price, I'm all for that. Opps---forgot about Oliver. I'm ok with trading Ed for cap reasons but I don't think we'll get more than a 4th which is ok with me to dump salary. Maybe we could trade him for another player. Cue the Carolina pipeline.
  11. Your probably right. They still have Ryan Van Demark OT from Conn who had a lot of pre draft buzz listed on the roster but apparently didn't show much during camp. They also have Alex Anderson from UCLA who was called up for 1 or 2 games (not sure if he actually played) Seems like I've been waiting forever for a PS lineman to develop & make the team.
  12. Those dam Buffalo wings---hard to resist.
  13. Dam straight, why can't all our backups be pro bowl players.
  14. Invest wisely Devon it's often a short lifespan for RBs. I wish him well he did a pretty job for us. Hopefully he can get another 2-5 yr contract in the NFL.
  15. Hopefully Offensive Lineman & linebacker later in the draft.
  16. This has probably been mentioned before, but could Ed play DE or is he too big ? He has quickness and he's listed at 287 lbs ---Basham is listed at 281 lbs.
  17. I remember Ed's draft year, Kiper had him rated as one of the top players. He played for Houston & the competition wasn't that great, that's why I like players from the power conferences, especially in the early rounds of the draft.
  18. I think Beane\Bills are looking to the draft for a big RB. If the kid from Texas drops to us I think we take him, we have other needs but I won't pass this guy up
  19. Giants is a good landing spot for him---he's not good enough to be on our roster.
  20. Well cue the Ezekiel Elliott posts, will be coming soon.
  21. Well look at the bright side, there is a lot of good free agents out there this year, I'm not sure how much cap space Maimi has but this should cut down on other signings.
  22. Yes we did. KC had a solid team for a few years & Hank won a super bowl. I'm surprised too that Otis wasn't in the HOF. When I think about some of these older greats (NFC also) I feel like they are better than many of the so called superstars today. Rules were different back then, a lot more defensive pass coverage & hard nose football.
  23. I've always thought comp picks were BS. If the NFL is going to have it, no team should get more then 2 picks & the higher you finished in the playoffs the lower the pick should be.
  24. Very insightful post. The Bills are up against the cap & have to make some uncomfortable decisions. If you look around the league many teams are in the same boat. It will be important to replace these players with good players.
  25. Lt---Dave Quessenberry LG---Rodger Saffold C---Greg Van Roten RG---Bobby Hart RT---Tommy Doyle All guys already on the roster---Bills don't have to spend a ton of money. Sorry, I couldn't help myself. I do like many of the ideas\thoughts listed in this thread. I didn't offer a serious plan cuz I don't know many of the college prospects---I count oh posters here for that info then I'll check on a player's profile.
