Ha, Allen can't play any worse then Big Ben has shown so far. Allen is a lot more mobile than Big Ben & should be able to make plays outside the pocket. However, we will really have to have our running game clicking to win. Tight Ends will have to play good also.

How many times did the announcers used to bring up the fact that Paterno wanted Kelly to be a linebacker at Penn State & he was tough as nails---well the refs bought into this narrative & used to let Jimbo get creamed with late hits. This pounding led to a shoulder injury one year & shortened Jimbo's career.

Seems like when he gets his hands on the ball he doesn't bring it into his body quick enough & the defender knocks it out.

That's a concern---that this coaching staff, will start screwing with his mechanics & screw it up. Different staff but remember the year they made a big deal in preseason about improving Fritz's mechanics & he played worse. Apparently Josh did well when Palmer was working with him before the draft, that's why I wish they would bring in a proven QB coach.

Really---what's the embarrassment ? We were overmatched going in---everyone expected the Pat's to lay 45-50 points on us---we held them into the 4th quarter. Our old QB off the street got picked on a good play by NE--do they good play good defensive. Who many other teams have held Brady without a TD this year ?
