If Jauron was really a "moran"

The Bills philosophy seems to be that you have to take a step backwards before you take another step backwards. I love how this board forgets history every summer. and as I warned Chan supporters early- I've heard this rant for a long time. there's no way Phillips can be as bad as than that wimp Levi, there's no way Williams can be as bad as that as that dolt Phillips, there's no way Mularkey can be as bad as that weasel Williams, there's no way that Jauron can be as bad as that Basket case Mularkey, and finally, there's no way that Chan can be as bad as that Manikin Jauron- the only thing I wonder is what descriptive word we will use when dumping Chan. -

Fine I'll take Germany......if you and your kin (Rand, Ludwig von Mises-cult followers) had your way we'd be Columbia or Saudi Arabia.

If boycott means to stop spending time and money I started last year. -
Observations 1. the switch to the 3-4 sucked all the value out of Stroud, Kelsay, Schobel, K. Williams, and our smaller LBs did we need to make that switch are could we have just made improvements in our 4-3? 2. We knew we had to improve our OL and just completely failed- Green is a disaster he is worse than Scott- Hangartner is not good - big strong NT and he is done

Spiller is fancy hubcaps on a junker that hasn't moved from the front lawn in years -
This is what I was wishing for with a trade down- - Hangartner might not be our worst player on the OL but he's not a quality center.

Its not as bad as it looks.

I knew coming into the year that the Bills were going to be pretty bad- the thing that's killing me is that I don't see the young foundational players that have me convinced next year or the year after we are going to compete. -
As I said a long time ago - Losman being bad doesn't make Trent good now I say vice versa.
-
Not with rookies, QB,OT, both need a couple years to blossom a stud Pass rushing OLB could make a difference right away. While it's spilled milk - this was the year to improve the OL, we didn't, this is my word of advice to the Bills "if you are going to stink, stink young" C. Green, C. Kelsay have no reason to be on this team, dump salary pick up draft picks.
-
I could accept the Bills stinking if they'd have set a foundation for the future but they didn't - OL was not improved in fact bringing in Green over Scott has made the OL worst. My first four picks would have been OL- until your OL is adequate you can't play in the NFL- going to grab a franchise QB in the next draft? good luck not getting his confidence, timing, and body destroyed.

yeah I waited a whole six months of his term before I started riping Obama a new one about his failure to role back executive power, restore transparency, and continued abridgment and destruction of Constitutional rights, how long did you wait on Bush/Cheney- Obama has picked up where Bush/Cheney left off, Obama is the smiling face of Fascism, the charming monster, the corporatist in populist clothing.

Did you realize that apartheid is alive and well and practiced in Israel Did you realize that Lebanon is a parliamentary democracy with the three high positions (President Maronite Christian), (Prime Minister Sunni Muslim) (Speaker of the Parliament Shi’a Muslim) divided among the main represented religions and the parliament seats divided proportionally among all religions. Did you realize that Iran hosts the largest Jewish population of any Muslim-majority country. Did you realize that Jews are protected in the Iranian constitution. Did you realize that Iran at one time had a Democratically elected fairly secular government until America and Britain overthrew it and installed the Shaw. Did you know about the American relationship with the House of Saud, the House of Saud's relationship with Wahhabism and Wahhabism's relationship to Islamic extremism. Did you realize the Iraqi Sunni insurgency that killed many American troops got most of it's outside support from Saudi Arabian Wahhabists Do realize the Islamic extremism was encouraged and used against Communism during the Cold War Do you realize that Saddam and Osama Bin Laden were both supported by the C.I.A Do you realize of the 19 highjackers 15 were from Saudi Arabia and 4 from Egypt Did you realize we are doing a 60 billion dollar arms deal with Saudi Arabia Did you realize you have no freaken clue of what's going on. -
He shall have Power, by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, to make Treaties, provided two thirds of the Senators present concur; and he shall nominate, and by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, shall appoint Ambassadors, other public Ministers and Consuls, Judges of the supreme Court, and all other Officers of the United States, whose Appointments are not herein otherwise provided for, and which shall be established by Law: but the Congress may by Law vest the Appointment of such inferior Officers, as they think proper, in the President alone, in the Courts of Law, or in the Heads of Departments. The President shall have Power to fill up all Vacancies that may happen during the Recess of the Senate, by granting Commissions which shall expire at the End of their next Session. Prior precedent is a B word- and this piddling appointment is what has your panties in a bunch?- not the shredding of the first or fourth amendment, not the nullification of Habeas corpus, not the utter joke that now is the threshold of probable cause, not congresses complete abdication of the responsibility of declaring war, not the relentless weakening of the Posse Comitatus Act, not the patriot act, not the Intelligence Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2003, not the military commissions act of 2006, or even the claim that the President has the authority to assassinate U.S. citizens with no involvement of an federal judge, I have supernatural contempt for you values and priorities.

Well Obama would never had made it without the Bush/Cheney disaster and where was your (Republican) outrage when Bush and Cheney were running up the debt or shredding the Constitution- except for Pat Buchanan and Ron Paul I didn't see it- my point with the article is that it sounds outrageous but it lacks enough information to make sense of it. The Devils in the details, 70 million for 7 jobs WTF does that mean- are 7 guys getting 10 million each, are they buying materials at hugely inflated prices, has there been theft, are they contracting out to private firms and that doesn't count as job creation or saving jobs, have they received money from the Federal government and just haven't decided on how to spend it, - if I knew the details maybe I'd be outraged but those details are not there so anyone outraged is just weak minded and easily manipulated. -

It took about 150 years before more enlightened Christians refuted other Christians belief that the bible condoned slavery- of course only about 2 million Africans died on the middle passage voyage and maybe about 4 million overall. 600,000 Iraqi's dead, 2 million displaced, infrastructure destroyed, A secular middle east country with high levels of literacy, health care, infrastructure, and middle class professionals turned into a basket-case and you are aggrieved by an unsubstantiated plot of street cleaners against a pedophile enabler, well whateverdude. -

Article was clear as mud- for example "$9 million to install new LED lightbulbs in traffic lights at 1,800 intersections. Less the $228,000 in labor costs associated with the project, that's nearly $5,000 per location to change lightbulbs." $228,000/ 1,800 = labor cost of ($126.66) a location - that don't make a lick of sense, at the least you are going to have a four man crew (1 scissor lift, 1 large truck, 2 traffic control) and probably 4-6 hours a site with setup and clean up. 16-24hrs of labor minimum, are they saying they're paying $7.90 -$5.27 hr wages and benefits? they must have illegals do all the work. $5,000 per location sounds high but it would depend on how many Lamps you are switching out per site- LED traffic lamps range $30-40 at the low end to $90-120 at the high end with the difference being longevity 5-7 years vs 20-25 years, incandescence traffic lamps last about a year, both high end and low end LEDs use about 1/10th the energy of a incandescence bulb. generally payback time is 2-3 years -
Vincent Jackson to hit the trade market...
....lybob replied to MClem06's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Agreed we need to get a QB and RT out of next years draft so I wouldn't spend a #1 round or #2 round pick on him but if they'd be interested in a DB and a lower round pick then I'd think hard about it- what about Mcgee for Jackson or if that's not enough Mcgee + Parrish - not really sure about Jackson's value he strikes me as a good but not great WR, on the other hand he would seem to have many of the physical traits Evans lacks. -
