They are replaying last years meeting between Iowa and PSU on the Big Ten Channel right now, so i thought id check out a Kyle Calloway random performance and give yall a report on it. I gotta tell you, i couldnt have been much more impressed. So far i havent seen him get beat. Always in position, athletic, more than powerful enough, stays balanced. The guy really looks like a thoroughbred out there. He was playing at a level above anybody i saw them try to match up against him. Im aware that its just one random sampling of a performance, and im not saying he should start, (although im sure he'll get some reps). But i can see him being the type of quality guy that could be our long term answer at right tackle when the time is right. This has been Marsy reporting, good night and good luck

I can imagine Maybin being successful, with the skill set that he has, which is primarily pursuit based on closing speed; the thing is, its gonna happen as a result of a scheme that allows him to come basically free everytime. He's gonna be like a slashing guard in basketball, more of a penny hardaway. in this deal, im thinking of Bruce as more of the Lebron James type (able to penetrate with power and speed). Maybin off the pick and roll FTW

So, did he look like a man-shredder?

Offensive Line Rankings
marsadale replied to San Jose Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
With our current line up, if we can stay remotely healthy, we'll finish up fine. If D. Bell can stay in the line up, he'll end up being at the very least a serviceable starter. His athleticism alone will save him from being horrible...he'll just need time for the game to begin to slow down for him. If he gets that far, the sky could be the limit Levitre is on his way to becoming a finished product. Hangartner should be fine for a few more years. Eric Wood........steel rods and plates be damned Cornell Green.....all he needs to do is not suck That being said....everything is gonna be predicated on the five of them staying healthy, and being in the lineup. ps. im not entirely done being excited about the big Wang, and when he might make his entry onto the seen. If D. Bell cant stay on the field, Chan might slide the Wang in through the back door. -
If Thigpen is cut, Gailey will pick him up

Reminds me of that ONE play last preseason when Levitre got pushed into the backfield during a pass play.....a great lament wentup throughout the land that Levitre was soft, and obviously too weak to play guard. Hey, at least we arent snivelling alarmists, right? -
My God, look at the wobble on the deep ball attempts...

Which Bills QB is most popular amongst fans right now?

give my boy Edwards two years in a row with the same playbook, and an offensive line that isnt an abortion.........then say he sucks -

Im not asking who the greatest quarterback was......not the greatest reader of defenses......im just talkin BEST ARM. Who had the prettiest deep ball, fluidity of motion, zip on the ball.......say he had perfect protection. Who had the most talent in purely delivering the ball downfield?

Is Evans a #1 on the Bills and a #2 anywhere else?
marsadale replied to MClem06's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
ive never heard anyone of any consequence criticize Edwards arm strength as being particulary "noodly". Is he somewhat shellshocked?..i would consider that fairly understandable considering his lack of pass protection the last few years, not to mention the preseason meltdown of the coaching situation. If you would have preferred to see Losman blindly chucking the ball downfield, that's fine. Obviously that strategy has served JP really well thus far in his career. (eyeroll). what we've had the last few years is a plague of injuries that would have disrailed ANY football team in ANY league. i dont think ANY number of "hands-free" squats would have prevented them. what we need is a little bit of luck to go our way for once. if we had had anything go our way last year, we started out with the talent to win football games, in fact, even as ****ty as it was we nearly had an even record. i think its time to stop scapegoating individual players and start looking at the situation as "a whole"....not as "a-holes" -

marsadale replied to MClem06's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
clearly?....clearly based on what......i believe TO had 5 td's last year, the whole offense was dysfunctional, starting and ending with the offensive line which was CLEARLY decimated by injury, not to mention the lack of experience. Unless you have a QB who has somehow become adept at cycling through coverages, and throwing accurate passes from his back Randy Moss, Santonio Holmes et al, would CLEARLY have suffered the same fate. It would CLEARLY be impossible to determine the abilities of a skill position player under those circumstances, CLEARLY. -
i beg your pardon?
