Chan Gailey has done it again.
marsadale replied to TC in St. Louis's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Someone above used the word resourceful to describe Gailey...i think thats a terriffic word for him. His offense is founded in principles that he KNOWS to work, and he knows how to implement them. There IS no substitute for knowing wtf yer doin. And he's provin that he knows wtf he's doin in my book. Gotta love the guy. Just enough personality for a Bills fan to identify with, without being a bullshet self-promoter. He strikes that balance that blue collar Bills fans have been looking for. I say we keep him around for a while:) ps...and as far as George Edwards goes...his boys looked like a pack of hungry dogs yesterday. I say we show HIM some patience as well. (but thats just me) -
Official Bills vs Browns game thread
marsadale replied to Just Jack's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Strong performance in bad conditions, against a team that has shown they can compete at a high level. Despite the records, these are two teams headed in positive trajectory. The Bills owned them today. Go Bills -
yes....it is possible...not altogether healthy, but certainly possible.

Is D.Bell the LT of the future?
marsadale replied to billsfan89's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Im sorry, but as soon as I see any poster mention moving D. Bell to right tackle....i stop reading their post. We need a massive "meat wagon" with eyes on the right side, pure and simple. Somebody who eats glass, and just lost their hot GF to some a-hole from Boston. -
How are we EVER supposed to compete

do you find him....attractive? -
lol.....thats good stuff

Darthice, anyone?

i say he is a third year guy who is immensely talented....had a really ****ty game....and we should have him out on the field for every play that it makes sense for him to be there. The only way for players to develope is for them to play fricking football games. You people need to re-align your expectations, imo.

VIDEO OF STEVE'S TD DROP ON HOME PAGE
marsadale replied to coseybedaman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
exactly.....It's a drag that we didnt win on the scoreboard. But we sure put the fear of god into those black and gold douchebags. -
Please dont get me wrong, I love the trajectory of the team right now. And youre right that these are largely the same players that Jauron was coaching to basically even records the last couple years. But before we defame his name any more than has already been done, let us remember that the Bills LED the league two years running in active roster players being placed on IR. Thats just **** luck if you ask me. Now, do I want to change anything the way it stands today?, absolutely not. I just feel bad for Jauron, to a certain degree, for having to bear the entire weight of our disappointment during that time for something that was largely out of his control. Flame me if you will

After 2 straight Ws what are you rooting for?
marsadale replied to mikegamms's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
And another thing, for all you "fans" rooting for losses; by what mechanism are you hoping these losses can be accomplished? Key injuries? Mass lockerroom insurrection? Should Gailey be starting Ganther at tailback? How about mix the line all up and have D. Bell snappin the ball. What do you say to the season ticket buyers? You people are utterly ridiculous. Just pick a new team each week. But dont pick til halftime so you can see who has the lead. -

Nicely put. If we continue to improve at this pace, why would you do anything drastically different. Let's not talk about the draft again til draftime. -
I am off the Fitzpatrick bandwagon
marsadale replied to The Wang From Sang's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I wholeheartedly concur. Give me a QB with good pocket presence, a nice gun, and an ability to read defences and you have my bandwagon participation. There are SB champions in the recent past with less natural talent than Fitzpatrick possesses as we speak. IMO if you add one pass-rushing lb'er the Bills as we stand today can compete with anybody. -
What has happened to Ed Wang?
marsadale replied to pimp on da' net's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Im betting that it has more to do with the fact that he came up as a LEFT tackle. There's a physical difference between playing left and right. Usually you see your finesse oriented, more athletic tackles playing left, and your mashers playing right. From the tapes ive seen of him Ed is more the former than the latter. I'd be surprized to see him playing guard in a game. -
Im sittin here, kinda thinkin about Maybins bust-ness......so I fire up a highlight reel of him at Penn State, just to remind myself of the what the kind of performance that fooled our teams best and brightest looked like. So then i fire up the video of his Penn State pro-day, and it suddenly occurs to me. Make that bastard try and play tight end. Why the hell not...he has size and speed. He's paid for. Tell me what you think, lol. What the hell else have you got to do?

Merriman hurt during practice......
marsadale replied to sven233's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I can tell you, as a person who's ruptured their achilles something about what its like. You have good days and bad. I can jump up and down, do one legged calf raises....i can even jog down the street (im about a year and a half out ffrom reconstruction). But as far as change of directon, torque, that kind of stuff, i can easily see shredding stuff down there. Calves, etc. Its hard for me to imagine that a person comes back from achilles reconstruction to ever be a world class athlete. Now granted, i dont work with a 100k per year trainer every day, and im old (45). But still, i can see how someone might be able to pass a physical one day, and be on the ground the next. -

Different WR Sets With Parrish on IR
marsadale replied to Haplo848's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bring him up, he had a nice preseason. But what i think is going to be the one good that can come from this is the sped up development of David Nelson. It seems like he "gets it" a little quicker than normal rookies. And now with more exposure im thinking we may have TWO young receivers have break out years. -
If heart has nothing to do with it, what keeps YOU rooting for the Bills? It'd be a lot easier on you to just go out and buy some Brady gear, or jump onto whichever bandwagon is the most attractive at that moment. If you are ever going to get any real enjoyment out of a championship, you have to have internalized the team as yours even when the chips are down. When you play Madden do you just run all the stats up to 99, then dance around when you when the Madden superbowl 124-0? Would you be all pleased if they cut all our current players and put together a Yankees-style championship machine if that were possible? Wouldnt that be just empty as f@#k? I want to win with OUR guys. I root for THIS team. They may not have won yet, or even put together a complete game, but Im seeing what i want to see out of them for the most part. Theyve been making me proud lately, despite the record.

marsadale replied to machinegun12's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
