  1. Probaby not. There are enough "Bill-iever" idiots who would have believed that a narrow victory over a mediocre team like the Jets would mean that the Bills' roster is solid...which, as the OP correctly points out, it is not.
  2. O.k...."crazy."
  3. How many "research" years have the Bills had? By now not only should they have collected enough evidence to field the All-Madden team, they should already have been able to cure cancer and solve the enigma of cold fusion.
  4. I agree with what you say except for this: The people of Western, NY and Bills fans all around the United States are hardworking, and loyal supporters of this franchise. They deserve better than to watch an untalented group of nobodies make boneheaded plays and lose games. Sorry...the Bill-ievers eat up whatever crap Wilson throws on the field at bargain basement prices and buy tickets...cheering on early victories with delusions of grandeur. The owner will never invest anymore than he has to with sold-out home games in honor of a crappy product...why should he? The fans get exactly what they deserve...at least the Bill-ievers ones, who buy into the b.s. with the "this is our year" pathetic annual warcry.
  5. I guess you're not a "Bill-iever" then? Good for you....I like posts that call it like it is. Only thing missing from your list is QB...sorry, Fitz has good games but also bad games and weird decision-making at times. He's not a long term solution.
  6. Thanks for making that clear. I was afraid the OP was suggesting that a setback for the Texans somehow opened up some ridiculous opportunity for the Bills. Not even.
  7. Hey, given your ridiculous avatar pic...I hardly consider you qualified to judge other people. Let me guess, Herman Cain is a proven sexual harasser in your world but Bill Clinton was a "good guy"?
  8. Hopefully you aren't suggesting that this is somehow relevant to the Bills.
  9. Bwa ha ha ha ha ha. Yeah, when I watch a team lose a close game to another team playing sub-par football, I think "Yeah, we are going to win games now, baby". Billiever b.s.
  10. Yeah, nice effort...and to no avail. Another game behind.
  11. LOL....the Bills are now 5-6 and falling behind in any chance of a Wild Card. Optimism? What we learned is that the Bills dropped a bunch of cash on an iffy QB who plays well one game and lousy the next. What we learned is that the Bills lost a game to a so-so team(not even a good team). Spare me the optimism. When people buy into the garbage on the field Ralph Wilson laughs all the way to the bank...continue to pay the J.V. rate for J.V. results, knowing the "Billievers" will still be unexplicably optimistic.
  12. Maybe the NFL will adjust the standings to... Wins-Losses-Games Played Hard There could be a consolation "Sympathy Bowl" for the teams that suck but "play hard".
  13. Oh man you are right...I apologize and restate my first post. "Williams is an outstanding, extraordinary, fantastic, brilliant, talented, amazing player...and the Bills are still crap." Better?
  14. But wait...isn't he, like, the smartest quarterback ever? You know...a friggin' genius? I agree Johnson sucked in the end but who was it that kept going back to him? They are both to blame. Plus, maybe Fitz has a couple of more opportunities if he isn't running time off the clock running around instead of throwing away the ball. Surely we can expect the eminent braniac of the Bills organization, Ryan Fitpatrick, to NOT put the game in the hands of, as you put it, a "prima donna".
  15. Sorry, these "good things" threads are silly...the Bills just went negative win-loss on their season(and in the NFL it's the W-L that counts). Complete implosion...let's not discuss "good things".
  16. Well I can tell you what I didn't do...buy season tickets like the "Billievers" who send the message to Ralph Wilson: "Yeah, continue to throw crap on the field and don't invest...we'll eat up your lousy product anyways".
  17. ...they are the Bills.
  18. Yeah, if the thread title made you think this would be a glass half full post...forget it. Here is the ending: Although the Bills lost today... (choose from below) a. they proved they are not a clutch team b. Fitzpatrick's "Harvard decision-making" skill is way overrated(runs around on two plays in final drive taking time off the clock) c. they proved they deserve to get beaten by so-so teams d. this wasn't a close game against a good team, it was a close game against a Jets team with issues...that makes the Bills look even worse in the long run I'll let the "Billievers" do their usual "The Bills really showed me something today" threads...while we watch the losses pile up. They must reap the fruit of their delusions of grandeur.
  19. With people "Billieving" the b.s. like that put forth by the op, is it any wonder Ralph Wilson won't spend a dime on this team? He puts the j.v. squad on the field and people still buy into the nonsense. Lovin' it.
  20. Oh I see, if he had better receivers he would no longer be throwing high on so many passes...yeah, that's it. So I suppose the mere presence of Wes Welker and Dez Bryant alters the laws of physics on a football field, magically lowering the trajectory of the ball. Yeah, that's it...it's all about the receivers.
  21. How dare you...you know the rose-colored glasses "Billievers" can't handle this type of honesty...are you trying to cause them mental breakdowns?
  22. Um, after he suckered Buffalo into the big contract he can...he can shave all the way to the bank.
