  1. What do you all think? I know the Simpson's popularity has been down for a while but, while I don't watch it like I used to, I still think it's a great show and I can't wait to see this. Of course I could just be setting myself up for disappointment but I'm looking forward to it?
  2. Early entries to the ESPN Eliminator Challenge. Looks like we have a number of people to prove wrong: Most Popular Picks in Week 1 Philadelphia Eagles 50.6% Chicago Bears 11.3% Kansas City Chiefs 7.3% Pittsburgh Steelers 4.8% New England Patriots 3.5%
  3. Patch Adams, such an underrated movie IMO. RIP
  4. In terms of which QB would give us a better chance at winning now, going into this season, yes, Fitz in a heartbeat.
  5. Would have to be the comeback game against the Oilers. Unfortunately, I don't remember much about the no-punt game otherwise, just judging by the way it went down, that may have been the one. In recent years, I would probably say the comeback win vs the Pats. As an honorable mention, I might say last year's game against the Panthers. That game was made even more memorable by how good the Panthers ended up doing last year.
  6. Kickoff return - you didn't say from scrimmage While I think it will be some 2 yard run up the middle I might throw in a surprise and say 10 yard pass to Scott Chandler.
  7. I'd still be an NFL fan just because I still enjoy following the sport. But I would not be a fan of whatever the team would be called if they moved. And I don't think I'd ever have a favorite team again. I'd just kind of root for teams on a game-by-game basis.
  8. I tried raw almonds as I understand the healthiest way to eat nuts is raw but unfortunately they made me sick to the stomach. So I usually go for the roasted ones that don't have a whole lot of added ingredients in them.
  9. Here's to hoping this is an April Fool's joke 3 months late.
  10. I will still go to a sports bar every Sunday with Bills gear on staring at a wall periodically yelling and playing the shout song from my phone. They can have me committed if they wish.
  11. I pronounce it pe-con. As I recall either is acceptable, but I believe some say pe-cn and I don't think that one is.
  12. Interested to see what everyone's favorite nut is. I think I covered the main ones but if I didn't list yours, reply. I like all/most of them but my personal favorite is the Macadamia nut.
  13. Van Halen - Right Now Just about anything from Live
  14. We definitely had some moments last year that were worth reflecting upon: - Comeback win vs Carolina - Beating the defending champs - Sweeping the Dolphins and crushing the Jets - KIKO!
  15. I don't want to suggest anything before the guy even plays a down in the league but if he can live up to the hype perhaps Sammy.
  16. In looking at the bright side, in another thread I recall people expressing wanting to beat NE while they still have Brady. This will give us plenty more opportunities.
  17. Definitely with you on the West Seneca stadium. Only ever been to a few games myself and those were in the past few years but I personally enjoy the experience of it being in a town/community away from all the hussle of a big city. It's also great being able to park in people's yards. Building a stadium downtown would ruin the experience at least for me.
  18. They will probably win the division until Brady retires. it seems like we've heard it all before, "Brady is getting older, this will be the year they slide", "They lost this player/that player so this will be the year they slide". "The Jets made improvements so this will be the year they'll jump over the Patriots". Last year they lost Welker, Hernandez, and they were without Gronk for most of the year. Also, the Dolphins looked a little more competitve and our defense got significantly better. Yet they still beat us twice, won the division, and made it to the AFC Championship Game. I would love it if anyone knocked them off. I'd even like to see the Jets win the division if that means the Patriots don't. But unfortunately it just looks like they will be good until Brady is gone.
  19. Agreed, hate the fact that he allegedly wants to buy the team and move it somewhere else but I've always enjoyed his music. I'd like to add 'Wanted Dead or Alive'. That said, I don't know that I'll ever be able to enjoy his music again if he does indeed relocate the team.
  20. Not a fan, I like the fact that the top 2 seeds in each conference get byes and I feel like too many teams who don't deserve playoff spots would make it.
  21. Haven't read all of the replys and I have only been to Buffalo on a few occasions for some games but I liked Pearl Street Grill & Brewery. It's a sports bar in downtown Buffalo on, appropriately named, Pearl Street. Nothing overly special about it but it's a nice place to go for a night out. There's also a casino not too far from there. For parking on game day, I would recommend finding a house on Abbott Rd.
  22. I was unable to sign up for the Bills schedule challenge so here are my picks. If I do get it perfect I can come back to this post and remember where I could have won season tickets for life. Cleveland @ NY Jets San Diego @ Denver @ Houston Miami Bye Green Bay @ Oakland Minnesota @ New England Kansas City @ Detroit @ Miami NY Jets @ Chicago New England Anyone else want to show theirs?
  23. That was crazy!!! The episode only ended like an hour ago so I won't say what happened, but, it's pretty insane!
  24. Too many teams who don't deserve to be in the playoffs already make it (see 2010 Seahawks and 2011 Broncos). If they added one more playoff team this past year the Steelers would have made it and I just don't feel like they played a season that was deserving of a playoff spot.
