  1. As great of a RB as he was I highly doubt Chip is the only reason.
  2. Trading an up and coming linebacker for a RB who has been wearing down for the past 2 years? Seems like no matter who's calling the shots we are always making ridiculous decisions.
  3. Gonna throw in a surprise pick and say Nick Foles (which I would be satisfied with).
  4. As long as we don't stop here I like it. We can't go into another season with Tuel as our backup.
  5. Charlie Ward Chris Weinke Christian Ponder EJ Manuel Hard for me to trust FSU quarterbacks.
  6. Agree that I'd rather have Foles but Sanchez > Bradford IMO.
  7. Yeah but most of us are only on season 3 the Fran Tarkenton years. So no spoilers please. Looking forward to Friday as well (I say Friday because I will probably DVR it).
  8. **Remembering his game against us back in November on Monday night in Detroit** Heck no
  9. I miss Marshawn much more.
  10. Brees has done a lot with very minimal talent at WR and RB in New Orleans. If he becomes available why wouldn't anyone take him?
  11. I get to play Brady twice Man it snows a lot up here
  12. A team who came within 5 points of the Super Bowl, I'll take it.
  13. Can't wait, hoping it will take at least some of the sting out of last Sunday.
  14. So easy to get swept up in Brady-mania after he had a great season and played great in the Super Bowl. Seems like a lot of people have been doing this. And I'm not taking anything away from him, he was great all year culminating in another championship. I still can't ignore what I believe to be the bigger factor in determining who's better between him and Peyton: 2008 - New England without Brady: 11-5 2011 - Indy without Peyton: 2-14 and I'll even go a step further and remind everyone that in 2009 (only 2 years earlier with virtually the same roster, coaches, etc.) Peyton took them to a near perfect season and a trip to the Super Bowl. Peyton in his career is the all-time best IMO.
  15. Keep this in mind, in 2005, after their last Super Bowl win, New England played home games against: Indianapolis (Colts were really good plus Manning vs Brady, rivalry) NY Jets (playoff team in 2004 who nearly went to the AFC championship game) San Diego (won the AFC West) All good teams from the year before who would have produced high ratings. Yet who did they play on opening night? The Oakland Raiders. Anything is possible.
  16. Agree that PIT stands a better chance. Disagree that PHI does.
  17. Actually, we've opened the season against NE 3 times in the last 9 years and played them right down to the wire with defenses that were no where near as good as our current D: 2006: Pats 19 Bills 17 in Foxborough 2009: Pats 25 Bills 24 also in Foxborough 2013: Pats 23 Bills 21 we actually did have a good defense this year
  18. Hate to say it but IMO the Seahawks haven't really looked that great lately. Struggled to beat the Panthers (who wouldn't have even been a playoff team if they were in any other division) then were basically handed a game by the Packers. Meanwhile, aside from struggling in the first half against the Ravens, the Pats have looked unstoppable since the loss to KC. I hope I'm wrong, but I'm thinking: Pats 27 Seahawks 13
  19. The only thing that bothers me about this is if Brady was entering the game with a known injury and a Seahawk mentioned something about going after that injury that player would probably be fined. This will most likely result in no punishment.
  20. Foles >>> Bradford At least I will say IMHO But I also believe that neither would stand much of a chance if we don't improve the O-line.
  21. Dear Robert Kraft, Despite the fact that there are people who've spent years in prison for crimes they did not commit we understand your situation is much worse. You guys got your poor little feelings hurt. For that, we all apologize Sincerely, NFL
  22. Thank you, I don't really understand the knocks on Chandler. I get that he's not Antonio Gates or Tony Gonzalez but he's a consistently solid target.
  23. I feel quite the opposite, don't understand how people are picking Peters of Marshawn. I thought Peters was overrated and he clearly did not want to play here.
  24. Or, maybe even the Super Bowl if they can make decisions quickly in the next week or so.
