  1. This basically sums it up.
  2. Consider me a convert to the TT bandwagon. Though I would not get too excited about today. It was preseason for one thing and Pittsburgh's secondary was dreadful. I still think whoever it ends up being will struggle and 9 wins, maybe 10, is the best we'll do.
  3. By this logic Eli should be top 5 as well. I think it's pretty clear the Steelers won those Superbowls mostly because of their defense. And being a 6th round pick means Brown isn't great? Dude is a beast.
  4. In looking at the link they provided of the full PFF top 10 Quarterback rankings I'm seeing far greater injustices than Tannehill ahead of Luck. Roethlisberger and Rivers ahead of Brady and Manning? I'd like to see how good big Ben would be without Antonio Brown. https://www.profootballfocus.com/blog/2015/08/27/ranking-the-nfls-top-10-qbs/
  5. Ha, my bad: :worthy: Andrew Luck :worthy:
  6. Colts are overrated IMO. A lot went their way to get to the championship game last year. Soft division, then got to play the Bengals (who play like crap in the playoffs) then got Denver when Peyton was clearly not his usual self. NE exposed them. Outside of Andrew Luck (and I guess Trent Cole was a good addition) they really aren't that good and I honestly don't even think Luck is as good as people make him out to be. I would almost expect us to win this game.
  7. I still think Cassel gives us the best chance to get to the playoffs as he has actually been a starter and led a team to the playoffs. Experience >>> a few nice preseason appearances and some mobility
  8. this guy knows 19 wins after only 4 games? We're going to be magicians! My picks: Bills 19 Colts 17, Luck gets them some points but our defense gets to him when it needs to Without Brady, Bills 20 Pats 13, with Brady, Pats 24 Bills 17, just being realistic Bills 16 Dolphins 13 Bills 20 Giants 3 So depending on the Brady trial I can see us going 3-1, 4-0
  9. Dalton is a good example of why you can't necessarily judge a QB based on wins. On the surface you can say the Bengals have made the playoffs every year with him at QB. But when you watch him play he isn't very good. He has benefited from a good defense and good playmakers around him on offense.
  10. Exactly, in fact I didn't think the Bills were being talked about as much of a playoff contender outside of the fanbase.
  11. Underrated: Chris Hogan Overrated: Tyrod Taylor, Greg Roman (assuming coaching staff is allowed)
  12. At the risk of being labeled the negative nelly, I really wasn't that overly impressed with TT last night. Not saying he didn't do well but I think he did about as well as any QB we've ever had has done in similar situations (with the exception of the fact that he had mobility). He made some simple throws and one or two more complicated throws but that's about it. As many key guys as we had out the Browns were missing a lot in their secondary as well. I feel like we saw this in the past from Trent, Fitz, Tuel, etc. I recall Jeff Tuel looking outstanding in a preseason game against the Colts a couple years back only to look dreadful in his next game. I'm sticking with 1 - 25% chance leaning closer to the 1. I'd love to be proven wrong though.
  13. Waiting for the "everyone bugs locker rooms" excuse.
  14. Yes, just about my only beef with the Rex hire that I have anymore is the fact that it basically meant goodbye to Schwartz. Really wish we could have kept him somehow.
  15. Cumulative record say over the past 3 years I think would be an idea worth looking into. You can't expect players who are playing for their own personal careers to just flop so that the team can draft someone better to take over their spot.
  16. I'd like to see them reconsider how the draft order is determined each year. Teams like, well, us, the Browns, Raiders have been looking for a franchise QB since forever but the Colts get to draft Luck right after having Manning for so many years just because Manning happened to get hurt the year Luck comes out? Just doesn't seem right to me.
  17. I will say this, he will most likely be the best AFC East QB to start a week 1 game.
  18. Ahh, here it is. I tried looking for this thread a few days ago when we passed the 50 mark.
  19. I would say after a win and after a touchdown but only if we are still in the game. If we are getting blown out with like 2 minutes left and score a meaningless TD keep the song off.
  20. #1 Kraft: Russell got his money right? And he knows what to do? Goodell: Yes Bob, relax, when the time comes he's going to call off the run play, take the snap, and throw it right to Malcolm #2 Brady: I didn't have to cheat for this one. Goodell: We know about the phone Tom, you're not fooling anyone.
  21. I would think not and I'd like to think we will win but I also can't help but remember 2008.
  22. If this does go to court, how long would it take? Wouldn't it take over a month thus go into the season any way? Or, he gets the ruling in his favor and does get the games back, would it all be settled in time for 9/10? I probably should have read this post first.
  23. While I would say I like the NFL better I chose both because I really like both enough to say that I can't really pick one definitively over the other. When it comes to college football I think it's more exciting to see who wins a conference than it is to see who wins a division in football. Plus there's the traditions and rivalries. I think what I ultimately like about college better than NFL is the fact that you can actually win in college football without a stud QB. With all of that said though, at the end of the day, the edge goes to the NFL IMO.
