Looked around as I heard about this (I'm heading up to the game as well). Weather.com said just rain and accuweather.com was saying snow possibly. Haven't heard anything about a full wintry mix but if you have another source that is better about predicting Buffalo weather (haven't tried Buffalonews.com) please let me know (I'll admit I'm not the best at driving in snow/sleet type weather).

Week 6 predictions: Bengals at Bills
Talley56 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
While I'm not in the company that believes EJ can still turn things around I think, even with him at QB, we are the toughest road test the Bengals have had up to this point in the season. I think our secondary can handle the likes of Green, Sanu, Eifert. Bills 20 Bengals 13 -
Right now yes but I think in the long run with Ben coming back for Pittsburgh the Chargers are far less likely to be contending for a wildcard spot and going into week 17, if we are still in it, I really think we'll be wishing the Chargers had held on to win this one. But I will agree in that the coming stretch and how we play our own games will determine how far we go.
-
This is bad for us. I don't see the Chargers contending for a wild card spot but the Steelers will when Ben comes back. We needed them to lose as much as possible with him out.

Agree about the o line but I'd say Taylor has done more to prove himself than Roman.

Going to give an honorable mention to Eric Wood because of one play. On our first TD drive he recovered the Herron fumble at around midfield. If he doesn't we don't get on the board on that drive and we most likely lose the game.

Ok, prove me wrong: Offsides on kickoffs
Talley56 replied to BringBackFergy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not sure about this call but either way I felt like the Unnecessary Roughness call against Graham that kept the Titans' late drive alive was far worse. -
They barely beat the Ravens in their last road game and we look like we are clearly than the Ravens. I think we stand a better chance than people might think.

I'm okay with Tyrod running more. But I think once he gets first downs he needs to learn to slide instead of taking hits in order to try and make a move for more yards. If he keeps taking hits like some of the ones he took today I believe it won't be a matter of if but when will he suffer a serious injury that will keep him out for a long period of time. A healthy Tyrod is far more important than 10, 20, even 30 more yards on a play.

Zebra Report Week 4 - NJG vs. Bills
Talley56 replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I might be thinking of a different play but if it is the play I'm thinking of as I recall Tyrod was still in bounds and he may have been moving towards the OOB but he was still on the green and was still able to make a play. Are you going by the photo-shopped picture from another thread? Replays show Jennings was clearly in bounds the whole way. At the end of the day we lost this game fair and square. And I honestly think we have been jobbed far worse in the past in far closer games than we were in this one so I'm really surprised by all of the backlash this one has brought on. -
Bills Offensive Line ranked #9 so far this year by PFF
Talley56 replied to Big C's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I wonder if last week was taken into consideration. Because they didn't look that good against the Giants. Otherwise, it's been solid. -
Yeah, I recall watching the replay right afterwards and it definitely did not look like his foot landed out of bounds. Even it if did, what's done is done and what's called is called. Going back to our famous comeback game no one can deny Beebe stepping out before catching the TD pass that sparked our run.

Titans trolling the Bills? Team tweeting about MCM.
Talley56 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah, not that it matters because the call can never be changed anyway, but as much as some of our fellow Bills brethren want to pretend it wasn't, by the letter of the law, it was a legal backwards lateral. -
We crushed Indy, Titans lost to them. I think we are better. Bills 24 Titans 14

As long as we don't leave time on the clock for a kickoff.

Tyrod = Jeff Blake v. 2.0 (or who do you say?)
Talley56 replied to The Frankish Reich's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Way too soon to officially compare him to anyone yet but I know his growth (not necessarily style of play) has been compared to Rodgers in that he waited a few years behind a veteran before starting. Keep in mind even after sitting for a few years Rodgers failed to get Green Bay into the post season in his first full year as the starter. In fact, GB went 6-10 that year. -
Bills Among NFL's 1st Quarter Disappointments
Talley56 replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What I don't agree with is basing our disappointment on the wins we've had. Not saying they weren't impressive wins but Miami may be the worst team in the league and Indy, aside from Luck, may be second worse. -
Sorry, but please no, He didn't do squat for us except fumble away the game against KC last year. Our running problems against the Giants were because of the O-line, not because we didn't have a fast enough back. Brown wouldn't have done anything to fix that.

Ndamukong Suh---Intentional kick to Fitz's head?
Talley56 replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think one could make the argument that it was not on purpose if his foot had gone out more, like in a line, but the fact that it curved back around like a "c" motion makes it look like it was intentional. -
fixed, the hold was a good call and the chop block was close enough to be called.

How Do We Convince Roman To Stay?
Talley56 replied to Dont Stop Billeiving's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah, play-calling today was just as bad as the execution. The screen pass on 3rd down right before the missed field goal and the 4th down pass to Karlos WIlliams short of the goal line were Hackett-esque -
Unfortunately, it looked like a good call to me. From what I've seen it definitely looks like it's in the area of the thigh and I'm sure the refs are told that if it's even close to the thigh call it. Can't really dispute that. I'll admit I missed it but everyone I was watching the game with at the bar made it sound like it was a pretty blatant hold.

How Do We Convince Roman To Stay?
Talley56 replied to Dont Stop Billeiving's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Change the jumbotron at the Ralph so that it only shows Roman Numerals But in all seriousness, while Roman's impact has been incredible and it would hurt to lose him next year I might suggest that we can still have a successful offense even if he leaves. To be honest if TT really is as good as what he's shown so far and if Karlos Williams can keep running the way he has I really think the offense shouldn't miss too much of a beat if Roman leaves. -
