  1. Love the Olympics. Been watching most of the day. Looking forward to the next couple of weeks.
  2. Now that Ray Guy is in Tasker better get in.
  3. Great commentary on the OP. Spot on as far as what many of the last 16 seasons have been like. Seems like there is a lot of optimism for this season but there was a lot of optimism last season. It was almost a foregone conclusion in many people's minds that last year would be the year we'd make the playoffs. I think I'll wait until after the third preseason game to give my picks for this year.
  4. Yeah, sounds right. And it would be great to see him put up those numbers
  5. So, McCoy, Darby, and Graham among others have been mentioned as being below expectations but you all have a problem with me suggesting Sammy might be? I hope I'm wrong but I just don't think he will meet expectations. Again, the question is who will be below expectation, not who will stink this year. As the expectation seems to be that Sammy will be an elite receiver I just don't think he'll reach that level.
  6. Above: Darby - I see a lot of people thinking he'll disappoint but I think the opposite. I think he'll excel to the status of say Marcus Peters Below: Sammy - Yeap, unfortunately, I just haven't seen the elite status receiver out of him that one would expect out of a #4 pick
  7. Pretty sure it is. Though maybe not as widespread as I was thinking.
  8. I wonder if Rita's counts as fast food. It's fast, it's food, don't see why it wouldn't. Cause man that custard is so freaking good.
  9. I was just thinking about how this will be the final weekend with no football games of any kind (pre, regular, post seasons) until February. Looking forward to it.
  10. Finished last night. I really liked it and I'm not typically a fan of these types of shows. This must be true as I also didn't see the Goonies until my adult years and I didn't think it was anything special either
  11. I seem to remember a couple of years ago Brian Hoyer was a half-year wonder. He actually had the Browns playing some descent football for the first half of a season until they remembered they were the Browns and completely fell apart the rest of the year. Hoyer followed, falling apart himself, and it showed when he played horribly in the playoff game with the Texans last year.
  12. I would say 49ers because I liked what I saw out of Gabbert last year.
  13. I see it's already been recommended but I'll throw in Jessica Jones as well because I was amazed at how good season 1 was. I personally thought it was better than Daredevil.
  14. I would have liked to have seen this about 20 years ago. As a Bills fan who didn't live in the Buffalo area I seem to recall people didn't really care for the Bills during the good years. Not sure if it was because people were sick of us getting to the SB and losing every year or the party reputation of the team but I took a lot of heat for being a Bills fan back then as opposed to the sympathy I get now a days. Biggest surprise IMO: I would have expected the Steelers to be more likable as they seem to have a large fanbase and, with the exception of Ravens fans, I don't see a lot of hate from non-Steelers fans.
  15. Agreed, I'll do the same if I see him take on a defender instead of sliding after he already has a first down.
  16. If you're going on the assumption that we wouldn't stand a chance against NE then yeah, I guess, but if we were to play them and beat them that would be epic. Might even jump ahead of the comeback game in my mind.
  17. Despite it being another playoff-less season, there were definitely some things to enjoy reminiscing over. Week 1 whipping of the Colts, beating the Jets on the Thursday night game, etc.
  18. Am I missing something? New England is our 4th game.
  19. Good, glad, as long as they lose at least 3 of those 4 games (hopefully their win isn't against us) it will all be worth it. I think the suspension is ridiculous but after 15 years of him tearing us apart with no real signs of slowing down any time soon I'll take anything. Even an unjustifiable suspension.
  20. I just wish we could go back to allowing defenders to, well you know, defend. Contact to an extent should be allowed. No more ticky-tack illegal contact penalties.
  21. I guess it also depends on whether or not there's an actual rivlary. As much as I hate the Pats, it's hard for me to think of us and them as a rivalry when they've basically owned us over the last 15 years. But taking the Ravens/Steelers as an example, the Steelers were way better than the Ravens last year and should have crushed them. But the Ravens beat them near the end of the season and, had we not beaten the Jets one week later, that would have knocked the Steelers out of the playoffs.
  22. Especially when you then trade away said quarterback's favorite target (Boldin).

I believe the employees go through a good bit of training on the customer service part alone. eball, on 29 Jun 2016 - 1:22 PM, said: Yeap, makes my day.
