Cavaliers win a championship, Indians in the ALCS, but we still have the same old Browns.

This sort of brings to mind the last time the 49ers visited Buffalo. 2008, after we started 4-0 we then lost a few games and slipped a little bit but we were still 6-5 when the Niners came in and still had slim playoff hopes. The Niners were terrible so we had not excuse not to beat them and yet we lay an egg and lose 10-3. Let's hope that doesn't happen again.

Sort of related but sort of not, did we dress up 11 Paul Poslusznys on that drive? Seemed like they dragged us for extra yards on every play.

Perhaps Matthew Stafford's familiarity with Jim Schwartz D is paying off.

You can always second guess guys but I look at: -Bills turned out with a great team and we haven't been the same since Polian's guys left for other teams or retired. -He then went to Carolina to build an expansion franchise and they got to the NFC championship game in only their 2nd year of existence -While he did have the benefit of having Peyton in Indy I think he also gave them the talent Peyton needed to win a championship. They had been a mostly terrible franchise before Polian/Manning

No one ever wants to tell us what QB will be starting against us. I guess our defense is starting to scare some teams.

As an O's fan I really hope we end up with an Indians-Rangers ALCS.

How so? Greg Roman could have been the head coach and I'm sure he would have been fine keeping Schwartz at DC.

He was able to game plan for Houston just 5 days after their last game but couldn't plan for Buffalo with 10 days to prepare? Makes perfect sense.

Love it when it is run occasionally. It seems to work even though it looks so simple. The Dolphins used it when they made that miracle run to the division title some years back. They went from 1-15 to a division title. I think in some cases it doesn't work (like around the goal line) but if it's something that gets a us some yards and a first down here and there I'm all for it.

Going by the "we need to tank in order to get better" crowd you should probably watch every game until we draft a high-end quarterback.

Hoping the Ravens fan turns out okay. You hear of many visiting fans who get jumped but I can't say I recall a home fan ever getting attacked.

As glad as I am that we won and overall I think we looked good yesterday I have to say I didn't think NE looked very good. I was kind of scratching my head today wondering how on earth this team went 3-0 because IMO they just didn't look good enough yesterday without Brady. Maybe we really are getting better and we just made them look bad but unfortunately I think with Brady coming back they will end up with 12-13 wins (I might even be tempted to say 14 wins but they have some pretty brutal games against Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, Denver, and Seattle).

Their defense has been good this year but it did not look good today. They barely rushed TT (he had all day on a number of plays) and the coverage played way off of our receivers. So yes, it was very vanilla today and did not play well.

We struggled to score against a very vanilla looking defense today. NE's defense didn't look good at all. As exciting as it was to beat them it was troubling how we only scored one TD. Scoring next week is going to be abundantly difficult.

Nice 1st half. We really should have scored a TD on at least one of those field goal drives but I'm satisfied so far.

Yeap even in 2008, the one year they didn't have Brady, Miami took advantage and won a game, Jets took advantage and won a game. But the Bills still lost both. No reason for them to be concerned about us until we give them one.

Bingo! Even more of a factor than Carson Wentz. Holding maybe the best offense in the league to 3 points. Gosh how I miss having him on our side.
