  1. Rooting for KC to win this game then go 0-15 the rest of the way. Not saying it's going to happen, but it is what I'm hoping happens.
  2. Philadelphia at 24 and Oakland at 30? Would have expected those places to be much higher, like top 5. I don't think any place gets to Brady except maybe Denver.
  3. Not sure which of the two threads will get locked but I saw the other one first so IN.
  4. Marino, hands down. As much as I love Kelly and I respect his command of the no huddle, I would have been interested to see what Marino could have done with Reed to throw to and Thomas to hand off to.
  5. Boldin is cheap
  6. While I'm sure this was just intended to be informative for now, I'm not going to start beating my head against the wall thinking we passed up on a franchise QB until he starts looking consistently good in the regular season and winning playoff games. I recall Tyrod looking very poised and impressive in the preseason two years ago.
  7. Jared Goff vs Scott Tolzien week 1. Can't wait.
  8. Panthers vs Bengals
  9. Exactly, I look at Tom Brady. About as accomplished of an NFL player as can be, just turned 40, and considered by most as the geatest QB ever. He could easily retire and ride off into the sunset with his rings, kids, and supermodel wife and possibly never need to work another day in his life knowing he did about everything a QB can do. Instead, he chooses to continue to play this sport where he knows he is putting his body at risk. Some players may leave the game but I don't beleive it will be enough for the sport to end.
  10. Patriots* - Tom Brady
  11. I don't believe for one second football is going anywhere anytime soon (and by anytime soon I mean next 50 to 100 years at least). While there are definitly people who aren't playing the game and parents not allowing their kids to play I just don't believe it's enough to end the sport. There will always be enough football players who don't care about the risks and just want to go out and hit people to fill up the pro, college, and even most HS rosters. What you may see happen is the overall talent pool dwindle a little bit. For instance, the next Tom Brady, Ladainian Tomlinson, or Calvin Johnson may be part of the group that decides the risk isn't worth it so they choose a different path than football and we never get to see them in an NFL uniform. Now, if it did end in 10 years, I wonder what LA would do with that mega stadium that is being built for the Rams/Chargers.
  12. Ravens struggling, Ben possibly retiring after this year, Bengals back-slid last year. Get ready for the Browns to take over the AFC North.
  13. Not including sports, I do watch Walking Dead and Game of Thrones. Can't wait for those to come out on Netflix. Otherwise I do watch reruns of comedies (Family Guy, Big Bang Theory, Modern Family).
  14. The way I see it, if the players know the risk and still play, I am okay watching. Much like spectators watch a stunt performer do life threatening tricks they themselves would never try. But I would never call someone who walks away from the game at any level a quiter. I may call them smart.
  15. Bold ey? - Dolphins relocate to Little Rock. - Also, Eagles win NFC East - Due to previous prediction, Schwartz gets another HC job after the Eagles' season is over - Saints make one last playoff run in the Payton/Brees regime - Deshone Kizer wins offensive ROY - Bills start the season 3-0 (given our first 3 games this isn't very bold but given the fact that it is the Bills, pretty darn bold)
  16. Agreed, I do not understand the love for Sam Bradford. 7 years in the league and hasn't done squat. Minnesota has a pretty solid defense and a team that won the division the year before he got there. He's no better than Fitz.
  17. Giants, Kurt Warner was the starter believe it or not.
  18. Yeap, went there back in 2004 for a Giants/Packers game (yeah, not the Bills, but how could I pass up a trip to Lambeau?) It was great, the fans were very friendly, fun gameday experience. Green Bay is a nice town.
  19. I didn't necessarily root for them against the Rams but I was hoping for a closer SB than was expected going into it. But at the time, after the tuck rule game, I didn't feel like they deserved to be champs.
  20. I want to post the schedule and put my Ws and Ls up but I'm sure that's been done adnauseam. I still think a 3-0 start is very possible (if Carolina plays like they did last year they will be very beatable).
  21. I joked about it before but now I'm really concerned that he will come out the year after Brady retires and the Pats* tank to draft him. Just like with the Colts where Peyton missed the entire year before Luck came out and they go right from Peyton to Andrew Luck I can just see it happening with the Pats* and Darnold. Honestly, I'm so sick of the Pats*, if I had to choose between them or the Jets, I'd rather Darnold go to the Jets.
  22. Not seeing it with Denver. Their QBs may have another year's worth of experience but none of them have proven anything. They lost both Kubiak and Phillips. I cannot stress how detrimental losing even one of the two will be. And they lost both. Barring a situation where maybe Lynch steps in at QB and proves to be a surprising stud I have actually been predicting a pretty disastrous year for Denver and I'll be surprised if it turns out any other way.
  23. May very well do wonders for keeping someone from getting injured if you do the moves correctly.
