  1. “I don’t get it, I put in a back up QB and everyone calls for my head but you put in your back up QB and you’re the smartest coach ever. What gives?”
  2. They did have replay and the play was reviewed and the play stood. Maybe better camera angles you mean? Anyway, to get to the worst loss, the Superbowls and playoff loss to Tennessee are definites. I would also throw in week 1 against Jacksonville 2004 when they beat us on a TD on the last play. Everyone looks at the Steelers game at the end of that season, losing to the Steelers backups, and as pathetic as that was, if we stop that last play in the Jacksonville game in the back of the endzone on a pass that split two defenders we win that game and, assuming all other resuts remain the same, we are a playoff team. That one was tough.
  3. Didn’t even know Geno was with the Giants. I guess they will be one of the teams trying to snatch a QB before us in next year’s deep QB draft.
  4. But I’m pretty sure most offenses can focus on attacking defenses while still doing a celebration. If you can’t get in the end zone you have far bigger issues than your celebrations.
  5. How so? If they are just doing a skit?
  6. Love the celebrations. The way I see it, let them have some fun. As long as they aren’t taunting they aren’t hurting anyone.
  7. Doesn't mean much when you consider that Peterman came in the week before down 44 after Tyrod couldn't do anything against NO and lead a TD drive.
  8. The Bills have also had a few things work against them. Like the Ravens getting to play Oakland and Green Bay without Carr and Rodgers. No way they win those games otherwise. But yeah, Bills have had some things slip in our favor. Like Miami seemingly ready to tank a bit by trading away Ajayi.
  9. And the Ravens get Tom Savage at home next week while we travel to KC.
  10. Not to mention a good QB that can actually build a lead for his defense. Let’s face it, we had something good going with Schwartz as our D coordinator and we blew it by hiring Rex.
  11. As bad as the AFC is this year, 8-8 might actually get us in.
  12. If you are basing it on schedule then I would agree but I would watch out for the Chargers. They started weak but are coming on strong. Next week’s game could be the one that determines our playoff fate. I would say they are our biggest threat as well as whoever doesn’t win the south between Tennessee and Jacksonville.
  13. On the flip side, our win over the Jets back in week 1 maybe looks a little more impressive than we thought at the time. But yeah, I see what you are saying.
  14. Not going to be easy when you take common opponents into account we lost to Carolina and were fortunate to beat Tampa. New Orleas rolled both teams. But not impossible. Taylor, McCoy, Clay, and Benjamin need to wear down their defense.
  15. I felt like the rainy field really helped us create turnovers against the Raiders. I know that’s not the usual Buffalo weather advantage of cold and snow but it sure seemed to help us in that game.
  16. Tyrod was not fully to blame but he also wasn't blameless. Yeah there was a number of fumbles but let's not forget Tyrod was one of those fumbles and if we are going to hold Matthews and O'Leary accountable for their fumbles then Tyrod needs to be held accountable for his. On the flip side, a lot of our points in our big win over Oakland were thanks to turnovers our defense created.
  17. This has to happen to the city of Houston not even 24 hours after they finally win a World Series .
  18. I feel bad for the Browns especially since they are only a few months away from holding the league's longest playoff drought
  19. Very sad to hear about this, God bless him and his family.
  20. Yeah, I definitely feel like this is different from 2011. Biggest thing working in our favor is we beat two of our biggest wildcard competitors (Denver and Oakland). I dont want to get ahead of myself here but I do like our chances.
  21. Gonna have to go with the majority and say only relocation. If I make it through another 60 years of life and they never again make the playoffs in my lifetime, I'll be frustrated, but I will still be a fan.
  22. Yeah, it stinks. Thank you for posting all of this as I was wondering what the NFL's reaction would be.
  23. No, this is just wrong, he regains control before going to the ground and landing out of bounds. He may have been holding it against his body but who's to say that isn't possession? At the very least there was no proof beyond a shadow of a doubt that he didn't have it which is what you are supposed to have in order to overturn something that was already called.
  24. You are probably right about the Pats going to the Super Bowl. But if they don't, and we end up with Jaguars vs Saints in the SB because of parity, I would love it.
