Eagles.... but seriously I would probably say the Steelers. It’s that time of year when they turn it on and the Bengals falter. Not to mention the fact that the Steelers have owned the Bengals.
Back in the day when making the playoffs meant “cool, now let’s see how far we can make it” instead of “HOLY COW, THE BILLS ARE IN THE PLAYOFFS. IT’S A NEW YEARS MIRACLE. ANDY DALTON IS MY HERO”.
When a bad team beats someone that says a lot about the team who was beaten. If Arizona were to beat Kansas City tomorrow a lot of people will be questioning whether or not KC is starting to decline.
The Giants are awful and they beat the Texans. Not say that it means we will definitely beat them as well but to say that it means nothing is ridiculous.
I find it hard to believe we would only win 3 or 4 games if Allen develops. We have a lot of home games in the 2nd half of the season against some very beatable teams. If we can’t beat the Dolphins, Jets, Lions then has Allen really gotten better?
McD has broken the playoff drought in his first season and while we have a losing record so far in his 2nd season both teams we beat have also beaten the defending Super Bowl champs this year. But he claps his hands when he coaches so he stinks.
I agree 100% with this article. Without the benefit of hindsight you can’t justifiably call Mike Vrabel a genius for the risk he took yesterday and call Reich a moron for the one he took.

If we can play our way into the wildcard race, I have no idea who to root for here. The Bengals look good and could easily win the division leaving both teams as wildcard threats.
This has a similar feel to the NE/Cincinnati game a few years back (the “we’re on to Cincinnati” game). NE came off a bad loss to KC while Cincinnati was 3-0. NE ended up destroying Cincinnati and they were practically unstoppable the rest of the year.
That may happen. Point is if we are going to give credit to one of our old QBs who had an okay game and ended in a tie (and even threw a pick late in the 4th close to winning field goal range) let’s also give credit to our old QB who played great and was the main reason his team beat a very good team.
2012 opener vs Jets might rival this. The only reason that one may have been worse is because it was against Mark Sanchez. Flacco may not be great but I would certainly take him over mr butt fumble. But at the end of the day, today was probably the worst.
