    Fittingly, it was a game between 2 teams who hadn’t been to the playoffs in a decade plus.

    I thought they did noticeably better with Allen than with Peterman but the needs you pointed out are mostly correct. I think our online is better than most give it credit for but it is time to replace Mills.

    Not making excuses but of those 7 losses to playoff teams Allen only started in two of them and one of those was his first start ever against the Chargers in week 2. Hopefully his experience combined with a potentially easier schedule will help us win more and be playoff competitive next year.

    Saints over Chargers. I don’t see how anyone goes into NO and beats the Saints. Maybe the Bears with that defense but I just don’t see it happening. But the AFC seems a little more wide open for an underdog team like the Chargers to make a run.

    Yeah, if they had slipped into the playoffs they’d be one and done. I think the Ravens stand a better chance at making things interesting.

    I’m one, and willing to admit I was wrong. He had a golden opportunity to prove himself this year with Thielen and Diggs to throw to and he failed. I would love to see what Allen could do with weapons like that.

    I am actually rooting for the Ravens this time around. Would be great to see the Steelers miss out on the playoffs.

    Let’s hope they give him a fond farewell by beating NE tomorrow. Knock the Pats out of the #2 seed and drop their own draft pick. Two birds with one stone. If the Jets lose they could end up with the #1 pick, though more likely #2.

    This would be bad for us. The 49ers have been pretty much a non factor for the last 15 years except for the years he was there.

    Congrats, I hope you enjoy it. I just bought a new house myself back in September. It can be a stressful process but worth it in the end.
