I see a lot of people picking us to win 10/11 games but still losing to NE twice. I know it’s hard to believe we can actually beat them after all these years of them dominating us not to mention the fact that they are the defending champs once again but with Brady’s arm showing signs of decline and Gronk gone if we are going to be as good as a lot of our fans are thinking we should be I would say we would have no excuse not to beat them in Buffalo. Especially if the defense is supposed to be top 5.

First game: we played Jacksonville in 2010 and lost 36-26. The only thing really memorable was the date: 10/10/10. No big fights broke out or anything like that. Hard to predict anything other than a typical final of teams like Clemson, Alabama, Georgia, Ohio St. If I were to go out on a limb, I might say if Utah or Washington wins the Pac 12 one of them could possibly slip in. A&M and Notre Dame's schedules are too brutal.

I will agree with that but both were still ST. I think if one ST great makes it in for punting the one who was great for making ST tackles should absolutely get in.

I could understand him not getting in if Ray Guy never got in. But with Guy in if Tasker doesn’t at least eventually get in that would be disgraceful.

I don’t understand how Belichick is ahead here. Prior to Brady he had done nothing as a head coach. Aside from one playoff season his record with the Browns was lousy. 5-10 in his first season with NE. 0-2 to begin his 2nd season. Then Brady takes over and suddenly he finally starts winning. Yes they have been great ever since but that has been with Brady. What am I missing here?

Very skeptical about some of his points. First of all the blow out losses were with Peterman and Anderson as QBs. I also think it’s way too soon to say the Pats had a great draft. As for the Dolphins, that is a major assumption and there is no more reason to believe Rosen will make them a playoff contender than there is to believe Allen will make us one in his 2nd season.
