Well, it's quarter after 10 in the morning and I'm still here. I believe some parts of the world have already moved on to Wednesday. We might just survive this. Maybe I'll keep an eye out at around 2:22 this afternoon.

After the Olympics had to compete with the Super Bowl it will be interesting to see how the World Cup does against the NFL season later this year. It is going to be held in November through December due to the summer being too hot in the host country, Qatar.

Depending on how you look at it, technically, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are still the defending Super Bowl champs until the Rams or Bengals win tomorrow night. So, if you look at it that way, we only have to say Tom Brady is the defending Super Bowl champ for 24 more hours. Then we'll never have to say it again (at least as a player).

I'll say forward but TBH I only say that because of how much better Allen got. If you were to tell any one of us back in August that the Bills would finish with more losses and get knocked out a round earlier than 2020 you'd be hard pressed to find anyone calling that a step forward. However, as I watched Allen, I saw a QB take even more steps towards something truly special, particularly in the last month and a half. He looks to me like a QB who, as long as he's healthy, won't be denied a title for much longer. I would say his progression has been: 2018 - Potential 2019 - Getting better 2020 - Great 2021 - Virtually unstoppable

I was just watching Mikaela Shiffrin sitting on the side, not moving after wiping out again. They took it back to the studio but I assume she's still sitting there. To think how much these athletes dedicate to these moments. Must be gut-wrenching when something like this goes wrong.

Barring a really great salary or just some blood-brother connection with Daboll, I can't imagine he was ever truly considering going to the Giants. He's with arguably the best QB in the league, on the cusp of a championship. Why go to a trainwreck?
