  1. You would think it wouldn't be the Browns, Bears, or Lions as they'd probably want to avoid a snoozer game like the one we had last year against the Browns. However, we did play the Dolphins a could years ago after their 1-15 season so I guess it really could be anyone. I think it will probably be the Pats just to stick with the divisional theme.
  2. Unfortunately, he is right. The fact that they had the ball for a superbowl record 40 minutes shows we couldn't stop them all night (though the Giants were good at putting together long drives that year). I still believe we were superior to the Giants that year and if our offense could have gotten the ball a little more we would have run away with that game.
  3. I don't really think the Pats are as hated as WE think they are. Of course we would think they are because we hate them and they've caused us so many problems but I've talked to a lot of people who have a lot of respect for the way that the Patriots built a dynasty with seemingly very little talent to work with. Dallas just seems to be the team everyone hates no matter who people root for. They appear to be the New York Yankees/Duke Blue Devils/Miami Hurricanes of the NFL.
  4. I would love to have Mcnabb however the chances of us landing him are razor thin. There's about a 97% chance he stays with Philly and even if he doesn't stay with them he would more likely go to Minnesota or Arizona.
  5. You can't be serious. The refs clearly favored the Vikings all game. Yes, Favre was roughed up but they were clean/legal hits. In fact the call against Hargrove was terrible. Not only that but the PI call in the endzone against NO that set up the Vikings tieing TD was horrid (though I will admit the PI against the Vikings in OT was suspect too after looking at it further). I also wonder about that late hit that was called after Favre handed the ball off because the Colts hit Sanchez on the exact same type of play but they didn't get called. Saints won fair and square.
  6. Nice catch by Cotchery, possession, two feet in
  7. Haha, clever loophole. I wonder if the bet actually said "opponent" as the article states or if they just said "Colts". If it was the ladder, technically, he held up his end.
  8. I would like McCoy if we didn't play up north but unfortunately he's played his whole life in the south. Not so sure he'll be able to handle the December weather in Buffalo. That's why I might prefer LeFevour.
  9. "Having a hard time finding a job in a tough economy? Look no further than the Buffalo Bills. They'll hire anyone"
  10. They didn't want Billick but they wanted Gailey..... Didn't want Billick..... but wanted Gailey.... Hmm, I've been saying this in my head over and over again and it still makes no sense at all. Or maybe I should say this wouldn't make sense if our owner/front office had half a brain.
  11. Gotta pose the question again though, if Billick truly has them to thank then why couldn't Newsome and Lewis do anything before Billick got there?
  12. Another reason I've been told is that people think he was just in a good system with the no-huddle. I really don't understand why that would be a mark against him though. A friend of mine went as far as to say that it is a travesty that he's even in the HOF.
  13. Or he would have had Sanchez roll out, get hit, fumble the ball, and watch the Chargers return it all the way and win.
  14. I seriously don't understand what counts as a catch is anymore. That looked clear as day like a catch and fumble by Floyd: possession/two feet. I know there's the whole "football move" thing but I'm not sure what he did or didn't do that doesn't qualify as a football move.
  15. Saints (that's been my pick all week, not just saying it because they are dominating right now) Colts Vikes Jets
  16. I don't understand it either and quite frankly I don't understand why we have made a lot of the decisions we've made. I am so tired of hearing the excuse of "his philosophy doesn't match Buddy Nix". Billick has won a superbowl and had a lot of success as Baltimore's head coach.. I'll take his strategy over Nix's any day. At the very least we should have interviewed him.
  17. Maybe Ohio State would be middle of the road but the USC teams basically for most of the last decade (obviously not the 2009 team) I really believe would be at/near the top of any of those conferences almost every year. Keep in mind, they went into Fayetteville and routed Arkansas in 2006 when Arkansas finished as the SEC runner-up.
  18. It's funny to watch SEC fans because they get all panicky when an SEC team loses to a team from another conference. They worry if Georgia Tech beats Georgia or something similar occurs that they might not be viewed as the best conference. A lot of fans from the area actually believe that winning the SEC is a greater honor than winning the national championship.
  19. Lol, brilliant
  20. Seriously, if Billick truly does want the job and we are indeed turning him down we really do have the dumbest front office in the NFL.
  21. I did see it too, however, it wasn't called so what can be done now? I don't really feel like it is worth diminishing Arizona's win. Besides, there were a couple of plays on that drive where it looked to me like the Packers' offensive line got away with holding (they were called once, but I thought there were more plays than just that one).
  22. Classiness is overrated. If you can rub it in on a team when you are whoopin them, do it. Especially if that team is the Patriots. That whole game was so much fun to watch.
  23. Two terrible challenges by Marvin Lewis in the first quarter and now he has no more the rest of the game. Not sure why he's still a head coach.
  24. Two terrible decisions: Saban - fake punt on 4th and forever Gideon - intercepting the pass instead of knocking it down for field position
