  1. This The Pats were being complete and udder sorry sports during those kneel downs. Especially on the next play when Fitz was blatantly knocked over well after kneeling down.
  2. Funny, I planned on starting a topic like this myself and admit I was wrong about Gailey (I was not at all a fan of hiring a guy who was a cast off from KC and only had a very limited amount of head coaching experience). However I was going to post this later in the season if we continued to make progress towards the playoffs. Not after a 2-0 start against mediocre at best competition. We haven't seen anything we didn't already see in 2008 and that season was led by Jauron and Edwards two guys who are slammmed on a daily basis by Bills fans. While Gailey has shown progress I still need to see a full season of the team at least being a strong playoff contender all throughout before completely admitting I was wrong. But, I will say, so far so good.
  3. I wore my Thurman Thomas jersey to work all day last Friday and we were dominant all game last Sunday. This past Friday I left my jersey in the car during the first half of the day. After lunch, I went, got it, and wore it during the second half of the day. We then go on to play bad in the first half then come back to win in the second half. Guess I will have to make it a point to wear it all day every Friday from now on.
  4. With you know who coming up in week three my biggest fear is us over-looking the Raiders. They are just good enough that if we over-look them they can skunk us but just bad enough that if we take them seriously we should be able to beat them. I'm confident that Chan will have them prepared: Bills 23 Raiders 10
  5. If nothing else, it was nice to see a win like this. I hope it is the beginning of a big year for us but even if it's just a tease like early 2003 and 2008 it was fun to watch us go out and whoop someone on the road the way we did.
  6. I seem to recall the Patriots winning the AFC championship game a few years back over the Chargers when LT and Gates both missed the game due to injury and Rivers was playing but basically limping up and down the field the entire game and the Chargers still kept it competitive and even had chances to win. No one has put an asterisk by that so I'm ok with winning even if we benefit from injuries. Now winning on bad calls, that would kind of cheapen a victory.
  7. Seen this before. The Patriots have played bad games even in the regular season and they will look like they've slowed down only to come out the next week and look dominant against a really good team again. Take last season for example, they get whooped by the Browns one week only to go into Pittsburgh the next week and dominate the Steelers. Belichick doesn't show his best stuff until he needs to. I think if anything this is more of a case of Detroit's improved defensive line.
  8. This would have been the better year to go after TO than 09 since we have a starting QB with actual arm now.
  9. What? Oh come on can't we get any respect?
  10. Tyler Thigpen will look good against the backups prompting some fans to call for him as the starter
  11. It seems like every year there is optimism at the beginning of the year by some people who are fans and then you have those one or two sports writers who actually think we can surprise people. While it does get old getting our hopes up only to see another disappointing season (and I certainly don't have high expectations for us this year) you also can't deny the games we were in last year: @ Baltimore, @ New England, @ Kansas City, vs Pittsburgh, vs Chicago. All of those teams were playoff teams and I would say all but Kansas City were legitimate superbowl contenders. That said we were still 4-12 and I think some people are jumping the gun about Dareus. Don't get me wrong I liked the pick but there is still a good chance he could be a bust too.
  12. Per #4, I believe that when healthy Merriman is still a force. Question is how long will he stay healthy?
  13. I was actually kind of hoping the Jets would get him. Not that I want to see the Jets succeed but I want someone to finally knock of the Patriots even if it is the Jets. That's not looking so likely anymore.
  14. I can see this being just like the Randy Moss situation. He leaves a team he didn't want to play for and goes to the Patriots where he suddenly he plays great.
  15. This is why you have to learn to enjoy the entire sport instead of putting all of your football happiness into your favorite team. Especially when your favorite team is the Bills. Not too long ago we were worried we wouldn't even have any games come September.
  16. Not sure that 4-12 is going to be good/bad enough to earn us the first pick. The Skins seem well on their way to an abysmal season and if the Cardinals don't improve their QB situation I don't see them winning much more than a game or two.
  17. Very sorry for your loss. Thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
  18. It sounds like they did not end up giving the opt out option to either side: http://nbcsports.msnbc.com/id/43881732/ns/sports-player_news/ If this is true then it's smooth sailing for the next 10 years.
  19. My favorite tweet of this week. Shows that at least one of the players gets it: @NickBarnett NickBarnett Nobody looks like the good guy in this... The real victims are our fans!!! Sorry guys :-(
  20. For those who haven't been to espn.com lately the latest poll is asking who we think stands the best chance at ending a long playoff drough, us, 49ers, Browns, Lions, or Raiders. It looks like it is very early right now but so far we have the least amount of votes. Not surprising, but hey, Go Bills!
  21. Plan on getting it and would be willing to get in on the online dynasty. If/when you get this set up, PM me for me screen name.
  22. I hope this isn't their way of saying that they don't see a 2011 season happening so they are trying to think of new things they can do with the 2012 season to draw us back in. Anyway, I like the idea so much more than an 18 game season so I'd be all for it.
  23. Awesome, now to find something that says he'll start putting up the same stats as he did in college.
  24. Brady, who threw 4 ints all year, also threw 2 ints against the Ravens defense. And that was without Ed Reed.
  25. Sorry but... Massachusetts paper publishes false alarm about the end of the lockout
