  1. A good GM would put a decent oline out there for a year before bringing in a new QB.
  2. Notre Dame was fine. They raised academic standards, that's why they can't go 12-0, which is fine by me. Weis will be fine when gets back to the NFL.
  3. It's terrible here in Philadelphia, but I'd like to see a game in this weather.
  4. If the truck was going over 30mph and he was standing up, even a swerve would have sent him flying out of the pickup bed at a dangerous velocity... perhaps headfirst.
  5. I know, I thought for sure they'd score with no time left on the clock.
  6. Are you ready for the crumble?
  7. Famous photog Harry Benson snapped this photo of OJ after he broke 2000 yards. Benson's portfolio (link at site) includes shots of America's most famous at various points in their lives. Worth a look, especially the photos of RFK's assassination. Then there's this photo of OJ, completely nude, in the locker room at Shea Stadium after breaking 2000 yards. Not quite sure what kind of reception male nudity will get on a board like this, but I figured that this photo, in a way, documents a major moment in Bills history. http://www.wowowow.com/entertainment/oj-si...ity-1973-414738
  8. It's contagious. I'm falling into one too.
  9. Booooooooooooooooooooooooooring.
  10. Sorry to hear that.
  11. The Jets' Navy/Yellow are pretty horrible too.
  12. Two workers fell 50-75 feet from one part of the roof to another, coming to a stop in the gutter. They work for an Amherst, NY subcontractor, Birdair. Initial reports say the injuries are not life threatening. http://sports.espn.go.com/dallas/nfl/news/story?id=4709174
  13. I was there. No one deserved to win that game.
  14. Losman and Edwards choked in the snow and made comments about how it was their first game in snow. That's reason enough for Kelly to draw conclusions. It has less to do with being from CA and more to do with a lack of player/coaching imagination in prepping for the difference.
  15. The weather thing used to matter a lot more when we had home field advantage through January playoffs. Hard to remember those days, but it used to be a problem for other teams (Raiders, Dolphins, Houston).
  16. It's also because Boston College was at the time mainly a school for locals and commuters (think of a slightly larger Canisius College) and they were playing Miami. The game really led to a change in the nature of BC which went on to become the school you know today.
  17. It could be, if you were in seventh grade and had limited understanding of evolution.
  18. Kevin Gilbride would be hilarious. From almost being the head coach of the Cornell Big Red to being the head coach of the Bills! Ha! That won't sell any season tickets.
  19. Good Riddance! http://buffalofail.wordpress.com/2009/11/17/coach-fail/
  20. The media has been foaming at the mouth waiting for TO to explode so they can dust off their tried and true story lines. They finally got their chance this weekend when TO went off about TE's route reading. Does DJ's firing have anything to do with DJs in-season firing? I doubt it; in fact it probably has more to do with Ralph being embarrassed in front of one of his fellow AFL legacy owners. But will the media draw the connection between DJ's ousting and TO's frustration? Probably. It'll happen during the second-wave of the news cycle when they move from reporting the fact of his firing to interpreting it.
  21. Well, the first pick 6 had everything to do with the position DJ put the offense in by not letting the defense make a stand. He gave Tenn 3 points by turning down the penalty and made Edwards try to come up with 10 points in 3 minutes instead of 7. That's a coaching decision that puts too much stress on a QB under fire working with no-talent at O-line and questioning his own abilities after severe concussions. Goodbye Dick Jauron. Don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out.
  22. Jim Kelly. We're going down hard this season, we might as well have fun.
  23. I cannot wait until week 17 to see the Colts 2nd and 3rd string absolutely light up the JV Buffalo Bills! Let's set the scene: The Colts will be 15-0, and the question will be whether they should start Peyton et. al.. Citing the 2007-08 Patriots, they will say that being healthy and prepared for the playoffs and SB means more than going 16-0, and they'll put out the backups. The backups will roll the Bills and secure the 16-0.
  24. Does anyone follow the Commish on Twitter? Commish was sitting in Bud's box at the game until the 4th quarter when Commish went to sit with a fan who twittered him (seriously). Since we know he reads his feed, posting this vid to the Commish's twitter might lead to some interesting repercussions.
