  1. Dion Dawkins had a quote last night that exemplifies why I enjoy rooting for this team so much: ""Diggs is so special that as I see him play I just want to rip off my captain's 'C' and put it on his chest," said offensive tackle Dion Dawkins. "He's a stud man. He grinds and just continues to outperform and outshine everyone and prove that he's the guy. Stefon Diggs, he's gritty. That's our teammate and we love him and we're blessed to have him here." These guys are very good individually. However, they are also greater than the sum of their parts. Hats off to Beane for building it Hats off to McDermott for leading it Hats off to the players for their character. The best of times.
  2. We certainly can’t complain about the praise Josh is getting tonight.
  3. So, this isn't football experience. But, after 30 years of rugby, I can tell you that anger is easy to defeat in contact sports. Focus on fundamentals, execution, recognition and performance. That cross-eyed, slobbering meathead on the other side of the line can focus on anger all he wants. His performance will suffer due to misguided focus and lack of thinking. Go Bills.
  4. Oh my. I have some good bourbon to help you get through this. It reads like you need it.
  5. At the risk of inviting backlash, Lee Smith - helping with TJ Watts and sealing edges for Singletary.
  6. Well, I hope the new wave proves permanent, because apparently we have no chance at Brady! https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/tom-brady-hints-hes-open-to-returning-to-buccaneers-next-year-for-one-very-obvious-reason/
  7. I haven’t seen evidence of that. An easy thing to do, intellectually, is to take a rigid, self-righteous stand, congratulating one’s self and insulting anyone who challenges. That behavior also reveals insecurity.
  8. Yes. Had he done his job at linebacker, we never would have surrendered our lead.
  9. You flatter yourself, Sir. You give a skewed narrative, stripping away perspective and misapplying hindsight while creating a dishonest assessment. As a result, you really have become quite boring.
  10. It feels good to sit in the middle of Boston and cheer L.A. I met a new neighbor, originally from Utica. Also, a lifelong Bills fan. I believe that officially makes this an insurrection. OK, a peaceful insurrection.
  11. I was in my early 30s for the Super Bowl years and my favorite memory was speeding home from work, EVERY NIGHT, to catch Sportscenter. Berman and the boys were always talking up our Bills and we didn’t want to miss a word. My friends and family would then spend the rest of the night on the phone (connected to the wall) and relive what was on Sportscenter. Remember, back then, Al Gore had not yet invented the internet. Prelude to Two Bills Drive.
  12. The Lombardi Trophy reaction icon applies, literally, to this signing announcement. The best of times.
  13. I, for one, would love to see that Marshawn/Buffalo storybook romance rekindled. #sarcasm
