  1. My guess (strictly a guess) was, with Beasley off the field and passing to our backs out of the backfield, we invited their cornerbacks and safeties to drop deeper and open up the middle of the field. Of course, they didn't see Knox coming. What a night. 🍻 Cheers!
  2. I don't think you're being fair to Davis. - He is not a consistent force in this offense because of Diggs and Sanders. No receiver short of the NFL's elite would overtake those two. - You could say that Allen owes some of last year's success to Davis. I'll say that they teamed for some exceptional receptions. However, I agree that a productive Beasley helps us to be the best that we can be.
  3. 😂😂 Ed Oliver appears to be in a good mood!
  4. This is cherry-picking history revisionism. The fact (not hindsight speculation) is that McDermott, teaming very well with Beane, turned a two-decade dysfunctional (dumpster fire) organization into a potential champion through continuous improvement with an exceedingly bright future. Also, "pseudo-dynasty" means phony dynasty. The Chiefs are working to achieve dynasty status and are off to a solid beginning. There really is nothing phony about them. Dictionary.com is your friend.
  5. [This is an automated response] As a courtesy to the other board members, please use more descriptive topic titles. An outburst of frustration is far too vague to post as a title and provides little insight into what specifically the post is talking about. The topic starter can edit the topic title line to make it more appropriate. Thank you.
  6. Given McDermott's long, close relationship with Andy Reid, I'm certain he is asking him how to most effectively rush Mahomes.
  7. I'm not taking this literally, but as a poke at all the Star-bashers we had to put up with over the past year. In that spirit, I like it.
  8. I'm going to reach here and say Gregory Rousseau. Mahomes dances in the backfield really well. Rousseau's extreme reach and athleticism (especially for being such a large mammal) could allow Mahomes to get himself into trouble.
  9. Yes, the beat down we put on NE, in Foxboro, was my personal highlight of the 2020 regular season. It was a relaxing night of bourbon and smiles.
  10. And there we have vintage badolbilz in a nutshell, insulting anyone he disagrees with. - In Micah Hydes sack Sunday, Tua immediately goes to his hot read, Devonte Parker, running a quick slant. Edmunds is there, closing it off. Hyde gets the "big play". - On AJ's sack, Tua looks immediately to his tight end. But Edmunds is there, closing it off. Epenesa gets the "big play". I have a seven year old nephew likes seeing "big, game changing plays" but doesn't yet recognize the scheming and team contributions to those plays. Edmunds is doing his job very well in Frazier's and McDermott's defense. I am responding, not because we disagree, but because your mannerisms are so far out of line: - Behaving as an internet tough guy just spoils the conversation: "In short, save the line of bulls*t about he's just so misunderstood for people who don't know he can perform A LOT better." - And finally, "And don't get me started..." Nobody wants to get you started. I suspect many would just like you to just leave. ctk232 crushed you in this conversation. Have a snickers bar.
  11. Isn't it great to be able to trust in our coach?! I'm kind of (ok, really) old and remember all the dimwits who have filled the Bills' head coaching job in the past. I am completely at peace that McDermott and staff will do their due diligence, coach up our players and have them prepared.
  12. I just want to go on record and say that I’m ok with that.
  13. ^^This. The Patriots spent 20 years being just a bit out of sync early in the season. We all know how that played out.
  14. What did Knox do to stand out today? Not a challenge, I am excited to know. I struggled with streaming the game and missed (had the audio on Sirius) a LOT of it.
  15. If we ever meet, Mr. Just Jack, I will not simply buy you a drink for this - it will be dinner, drinks for the entire evening and a bottle of bourbon to send you on your way. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
  16. You’ve got a point here - because we all know that passes over 40 yards have an NFL-wide 70% completion rate.
  17. Is this simply based on a 1960 view of gender roles and interests? Do you suppose she also picks out tablecloth colors for team meals? I wonder if she folds the napkins in fancy shapes for each setting. I'm going to speculate that marketing plays more of a role in game uniform selections.
  18. 31-13 Bills. The offense we enjoyed last year is the real deal and I believe our defense is primed to bounce back to form from last season's early injuries.
  19. I am happy for Tyrod. He represented the Bills well. While he may be a bit limited as a quarterback, he was a hard worker, a quality leader and someone who I will always be happy he was part of the organization. Good people are worth acknowledging.
  20. Is it because I'm an old curmudgeon, or is that commercial kinda dumb? A simple "Yes" is an ok answer.
