  1. We were at the bar and I called the Fitz pick at the crucial point in the game...for the 2nd time this year!!!!
  2. Hey...they switched to the Bucs game on Fox!
  3. Lol @ running the table! With this 'Poop-gun' offense?
  4. Not sure if Chan could have called a worse game plan when we were getting ready to go in for the winning score. Wildcat/gadget play resulting in an INT and then three straight passes when CJ and Fred had been exploiting? Should have been total failure, but Byrd & Lindell bailed them out in the end - some big time luck, there. Chan really needs to get back to basics and quit trying to outfox the opponent with the stupid gadget plays...if your best player is running strong and the screen is working, why abandoned it during the crucial moments of the game? Our QB and our gadget plays are not good enough to trick the defenses in today's NFL.
  5. Yikes...hopes the folks in LA didn't see this one!
  6. I decided to not watch the game and glad I saved myself the frustration. Defense giving up tons of points, Stevie acting like a diva, Chan/Edwards failing to make necessary adjustments, Fitz looking anything like a franchise QB...yawn. Sounds like Groundhog Day to me. But we still got the Sabres!
  7. And who didn't call the Jets marching down the field and scoring the go-ahead TD even though the defense had actually played halfway decent throughout the game? It was like deja-vu/nightmare that we have seen in oh so many games. You just KNEW it was going to happen, I don't care how f-in die hard of a fan you are. We all knew it was going to happen with THAT defense...and it did.
  8. How many went online (like me) and got their Titans/Bills tix for the Stampede in December right after the loss!!!
  9. ^Not to say anything about how we could bring TO back to drop passes just like Stevie!
  10. And I would have expected Fitz to throw for 400 yards with a guy playing under center that had no experience in doing so. With Fitz not knowing where the ball was coming at every snap and him getting heat on almost every play because of scrubs on the o-line, there is no reason for him playing like that after the Bills paid him so much money! Oh, and the Sabres only have what...60+ games left to prove that they suck? Let's revisit this one in March, shall we?
  11. As usual...I agree with all of Bill's comments. Perhaps next week they'll play Dareus at LB, move Dwan Edwards to safety, Chandler to center and ask Nick Barnett to punt? And let's not forget about this ditty: "It's tough to WIN in the NFL!" PS - Hairston is a keeper? Ugh...I saw him give up on two plays in a row that almost got Fitz killed. Good blocking at first then he just seemed to let the defender abuse him. Gotta keep fighting till the whistle blows kid.
  12. I was 4-0 when I DVR'ed the game and went golfing. Being that I couldn't go golfing today, I DVR'ed the game and put up Christmas lights hoping that would change the outcome. We really need an indoor golf course in WNY.
  13. ^^ Let's not forget linebacker or someone on special teams that does not allow a player to run in unblocked and block a punt for a TD!
  14. The Bills is not good & they is not going to the playoffs. The end.
  15. Interesting that about four weeks ago, there were talks of Chan Gailey being Coach of the Year....now we're talking about if he'll get fired if the Bills tank the rest of the season. My how times have changed!
  16. Yeah, but you would have thought that the Bills defense would have responded to that bad call by coming out even more fired up trying to make a big play - they did not. They looked deflated and even more out of sync than previous drives. The Bengles exposed that...big time. Even Fitz hung his head on the sideline after the call which was disappointing to me. He should have been angered enough on the sideline to get his defense and team pumped to make a play to get the ball back - he did not. This was a badly officiated game, I won't deny that...but the Bills had their chances and squandered them. This game showed shades of some of their losses in previous years - they have to move beyond those types of distractions. They need to look at their deficiencies in this game and work hard to correct them for next week. If they focus more on how they got hosed by the refs (like a lot of us are doing now), they aren't going to win a whole lot of games.
  17. This is gonna be huge...can't wait! I don't think there is any trouble with Andy Reid in Philly, although if they lose next Sunday I would bet there are going to be rumblings from idiot fans and media calling for his head. But wait...don't they do that every time they have a two or three game losing streak? Don't Buffalo fans and media do the same when we have a two or three game losing streak...or like today, call for the defensive coordinators head because they lost one game?
  18. Optimism, eh? Hmmmm: * Chances are that we might not have the same refs next week? * Perhaps they might not have McKelvin in single coverage on Jackson or at least Edwards might try to make a mid-game adjustment to give him some help if he's getting schooled? * Maybe it will be nice enough that I can go golfing next Sunday and DVR the games like I did for the first three games? I seriously think I jinxed them by staying home to watch them today! * Lindell hit all his field goals and extra points. * Dareus got his first sack! That's about all I got...
  19. A 49er's team that also beat the Bengals in Cincy the week before. I don't think they're as crappy as people make them out to be.
  20. I agree...not that I think that cost them the game, but when refs are not making calls in the first half (on either side)and then have some questionable calls in the second half that could have possibly changed the outcome of the game, the league needs to review. This was one of the most inconsistant games I have ever witnessed from a refereeing standpoint - terrible. On the Dalton first down I wondered if the light beam location was off because when he first came down, he was definitely about a yard short of that orange line. But when they showed the replay and then showed the actual marker, he was right at it. That was confusing to everyone watching the game with me today. We ALL thought he was well short of the beam until they showed the replays. However, the biggest reason we didn't win was the defenses inability to contain a rookie qb, rookie wide receiver and a veteran running back when it mattered the most. That was even more troublesome/worrisome than some of the bad calls by the refs!
  21. Taking down the tree and what do I see? Precarious Byrd runnin' in for a TD!
  22. This game is making my decision to put all of the Christmas decorations away today a lot easier. Guess I might even get those lights down off the house versus watching the 2nd half. Oh well, my liver will and heart will thank me later...better luck next year. "It really is hard to win in the NFL - even against back-up's."
  23. I agree...Blaine sounds like it has fail written all over it. But wasn't it a Molly Ringwald movie..."Like, I'm so sure that Blaine and I went on a date to see The Breakfast Club and then we like, made out in the back seat of his parents Ford Taurus while listening to 'Oh Sherry' by Steve Perry!"
  24. That's just what I did!!! Actually had a fun time celebrating a friends b-day at a local bar. It was interesting listening to everyone groan about Whitner, our o-line, run defense and all of the turnovers. I felt like I was live on TSW!
  25. I know that I will be happier this Sunday than I have for the past four weeks. It is actually going to be nice enough to go golfing!
