I am probably in the few, I believe it is the NFL who messed up here. Whoever gave up this information had an axe to grind with the Patriots. The whole 1 PSI below becoming almost a criminal trial in the Sports media is a huge joke. The NFL gives the refs a 1 PSI range, 12.5 to 13.5, then tag the balls to keep away from anyone till game time. How did these NFL people manage to mess this up. The Patriots sent in Oceans 14 for the greatest heist this Century!!! They pulled off the impossible and got by the NFL security and "changed the pressure of the footballs". Death Penalty to all found guilty. There is allot of information flying around. Why is no one calling out Indy, they had 4 out of 4 balls tested at end of game at 12.0 PSI. What is up with the refs calling out Brady for wanting the pressure at 12.5 PSI then telling him they will set them where they want at 16 PSI. Sounds like this whole situation was more than a bit unprofessional. Who is calling Brady the Deflator, the NFL refs. Why are they not investigated for hazing basically, these are the rules not to be played with RIGHT! What about Aaron Rodgers admitting he gets his footballs set to 16PSI. How about the admission of Jerry Rice using stickum. The drugs and alcohol used on game day by Lawrence Taylor. Give me a break on Deflate Gate, Hillary Clinton erased her server that held all her emails from being Secretary of State. We are getting outraged over 1 PSI in a football that amounts to less than a 10% change. Common sense is gone and we are becoming cry babies that get more enraged over rules than domestic violence, drug use and thieves in the NFL. Ouch 4 games for txting in the endzone! Beat your girl friend up and drag her out a elevator on video, ah two games, she forgave him. REALLY! If your employer accused you of doing something against their rules, would you give them anything that could prove anything about your character or what happened. They are accusing you, you never cooperate with the accuser or your feeding directly into what they want, YOU! You lawyer up and beat them down for accusing you, even if there's some truth. The question here is WHY the NFL is going after one of the top 3 QB's of all time? What is their real motive, Justice! For WHO, the fans. I could care less what air is in the football, at some point either way it doesn't help but hurt. Tom Brady had a better second half with new footballs. Brady will appeal and win or at least get two games back. NFL loses if they piss Brady off that he never shows up to any NFL functions ever again when he retires. If I was Brady and this sticks, I would retire from the NFL. Would serve them right because this offense, even if true, warrants a fine and nothing more. It is the fans that lose again here over HOT AIR from the NFL ASSES!

Tuel was really good two preseasons ago. He was used in a couple regular season games, then threw a pick near goal line for a quick 6. Ended up really being on the receiver because he slipped. Following year all the QB's sucked and got cut except EJ. Tuel was resigned and put on the practice squad were he remained. Tuel can throw down field, his accuracy gets bad when pressured which happened a lot here and in college. I for one have no problem giving them all a chance but see no way Cassel doesn't land the job if healthy. If that happens I could see EJ gone and Tuel backing him up with Tyrod Taylor sitting. Reason I say this is both are pocket QB's. If EJ wins Tyrod may win backup and other two cut. Offensive style and fit will drive who stays along with accuracy.

I believe the Bills will end up cutiing Chris Williams and pickup another veteran guard to man LG. Unless Hairston comes back we have no backup Tackles. Unless Henderson gets really better this year he is the only person that can move to LT if Glenn gets hurt. In a pinch C Williams could if they keep him but that is not what should happen here. I would grap a T/G in 2nd round and G/ILB in the 3rd round. Wish I could say we draft best available player but the Bills have needed backup positions that can't be filled with undrafted freeagents.

Competition develops better players. The loser plays LG. Get R Dun. Urbik is a backup player. If a Center gets hurt you would slide the guy over and Urbik comes in at guard. Barksdale and Long still available too. Cap was 153mil and Bills have extra money from last year they can use for one year, hence all the money stacked in front for Clay. Bills have money and could get more by cutting Chris Williams. I believe they have enough for two 5-6 mil/yr lineman. Bills will need to draft depth because every year the may lose half their freeagents. That is normal for every team. Pegula will be aggressive but everyone can't make 7-10 mil/yr. When you get good everyone thinks they should be the highest paid. Good problem to have.

I heard $14-16 mil before but Harvin may not be on that. So we are around 3-5 mil left if Clay signs. We have space if we cut Willams for another good guard.

The only way money or picks are miss spent is if the player fails or gets hurt, that is just dumb luck. Buffalo wasn't going to find a TE in the draft like Gronk. Watkins wasn't going to be a Bill without giving up something really good. Williams, who was a first pick overall, wouldn't be a Bill without making him the highest paid DE. Suh didn't go to Miami cheap. Darieus won't come cheap to the Bills next year and Hughes took 9 mil/yr to keep. Talent costs money and unfortunately that number starts at 7-8mil to 20mil/yr depending on postion. $5mil/yr players are the work horses on the roster now, anything less are draft picks and filler players. Manny Lawson is a 3-4 linebacker, he was good two years ago. I would also rather try Orpako or AJ Hawk at < 5 mil/yr than Hughes at 8-10 mil/yr with his penalty issues. Bills line made Hughes, not the other way around.

Revis is not a Freeagent, NE will not turn down the option. They will resign him to alter cap hit this year.

Bills don't have Dareus signed yet, Suh is a beast and a bully, good fit with Rex. Money and contracts can get worked out. Add this player and Bills have best defense in the NFL without question. Kyle Williams will bring a good draft pick this year. I think a contract in the 6-7 years 15-16 mil average with big signing bonus, roster and incentives could make cap number seem Hughes number like next two years when Mario's comes down. If you lose Dareus it won't hurt so much but this year in a 3-4 you have Williams, Suh in the middle and Darieus. That is one big OUCH for all other teams!

Bills will be running some type of Option offense, running game will drive this. EJ Manual is a option QB so I expect a QB with the same type of tools and the best man wins. So Tebow would fit, if RG3 is available so would he but he is a bit small. Tebow won two college championships and took Denver to a playoff win against Pittsburg. He is not a thrower but can make plays. He could balance out the Incognito pickup and make it look like the Bills are interested in players that can play football, regardless of character.

Bills need two new starting guards, release Urbic and Pears. I like Hughes but not at $10mil plus a year, last year we had Corbin Bryant, find someone with potential, money needs to be spent on offense. Spiller goes, I like the 3 backs we have. Release Goodwin and find a big target, sign Hogan. I like Gray, not sure about Chandler. Keep safeties and d-backs, keep developing younger players. Most importantly find a QB, prefer a trade for someone like Foles, Shaub, Cousins, etc..

Downfall is the O-line for Whaley, Williams was a joke pickup, both rookie guards failed. Marrone using Pears as guard was a huge flop, destroyed run game.

Orton was getting hit on half of his pass attempts. Watkins stopped running on two deep routes, great talent but a bit immature. Someday he will be a top 3 WR in the league but there are growing pains. O-line is the real problem. What do you think would happen at 5-3 if Hacket got fired this week. Do you really think Marone would call a better game with that line? The only thing that could happen is trade. More likely Williams gets healthy goes to RG, Urbik LG and run with that Whaley should be fired at years end for O-line and going all summer without a true veteran QB. Just can't make those kind of mistakes.

The idea of the post was to dream about what might make you really happy about the Bills and Western NY. Reich is a very good OC for San Diego. Pepper Johnson was schooled under Bill Belicheck. Chris Polian was schooled under his Dad. Schwartz is already successful as a DC. The other positions were filled out for fun, though a few of them like Metzellar have already coached and Reed expressed interest. Also allot of NFL players have transitioned very well to coaching, Harbach is a very good example, Frank Reich also. As far as Pegula's and the region go, there will be allot of Billionaires lining up to invest in Pegulaville. The Bills will be the flagship team and Buffalo the flagship city. You know why I know that, everytime I leave Buffalo for a job I am looking to come back. GO TO SLEEP AND DREAM GOOD THINGS FOR BUFFALO! Some dreams are already coming true.

10 years ago if someone said the Bills would be bought for 1.4 billion and kept in Buffalo I would have said you were on Meth! Anything is possible here. A whole line of Store Outlets are built center around Field and Streams flagship store. In the winter it becomes a Winter Wonderland with skating, cross country skiing, tobogganing and snowmobiling paths all up and down Route 5. Buffalo becomes a tourist attraction and a Hub for high speed rail to Cleveland, Pittsburg, Toronto, Niagara Falls and Rochester. Buffalo wins bid for Superbowl LX! DAMN I WOKE UP!

Urbik couldn't play center past few years, the Bills realized this again and don't want him at RG. They will be releasing him or getting a 7th round pick. The only reason Bills are shopping him is someone out there may want a starting guard bad enough not to compete with other teams and pay his salary.
