  1. Brad and Rob Johnson won a Superbowl in Tampa bay. How about Dilfer!
  2. Philly traded away Foles and McCoy, never really gave them a chance! Hopefully Buffalo gets smart and reunites them! He was the starting QB in Philliy? He got traded for Bradford.

  4. He got traded to LA and then thrown in a QB competition. Now their coach got fired. You must be a LA fan. That team is worse off then the Bills. Bills at least have skilled position players outside of a franchise QB (pocket passer). No upside to Tyrod, he won't be able to throw to come back. He doesn't play well to top competition. You want to stay 8-8 forever? Foles can do both, doesn't throw interceptions. Not a runner but is mobile. So McCoy got traded to Buffalo from the same coach that traded Foles away? What is your point. He left LA, didn't want to play there and Kansas has a really good QB in Alex Smith. Actually a really bad point being made here!!!!!! Medical marijuana? I guess there is a chance you or I win the lottery too!
  5. That is why you get Foles, he is ready. Then you hope Jones or whoever comes out enough to be backup. I don't think Jones is that far off with a full of season ahead.
  6. I let that go because he probably meant being a mobile QB, dude is 6'3" which is taller than Jim Kelly. Guy improved every year and throws allot!!! 7. Pat Mahomes*, QB, Texas Tech Height: 6-3. Weight: 219. Projected 40 Time: 4.70. Projected Round (2017): 2-4. 12/7/16: Mahomes completed 66 percent of his passes in 2016 for 5,052 yards with 41 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. He also rushed for 12 touchdowns. Some team sources are intrigued by Mahomes, but others are skeptics. Mahomes has a good arm and has flashed the ability to be a pocket passer. He also has athleticism with enough mobility to buy time and pick up some yards on the ground. Mahomes is a sleeper who could be a steal. One playoff team told me they have a second-round grade on Mahomes and compare him to Derek Carr coming out of Fresno State. Two other teams said they had Mahomes in the third round, while one playoff general manager said he had him in Round 4. There is love/hate with Mahomes in part because of his college offense, but Mahomes is an accurate passer with a good arm, bulk, flashes of field vision, and mobility. 7/29/16: Mahomes plays in a gimmick college offense that produces a lot of points, but Mahomes has shown potential to get NFL consideration. In 2015, he completed 64 percent for 4,653 yards with 36 touchdowns and 15 interceptions. It was a big improvement over his freshman season when he completed 57 percent of his passes for 1,547 yards with 16 touchdowns and four interceptions. https://walterfootball.com/draft2017QB.php You still have Jones who is from Ohio. Good to have different options!!!
  8. They did that in case Alex gets hurt or they think he is trade bait.
  9. My backup plan would be to draft this QB in 2-4 round. Pat Mahomes, QB, Texas Tech or maybe Davis Webb, QB, California
  10. No, he becomes a freeagent. Not sure were your seeing your info? http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/kansas-city-chiefs/nick-foles-9898/
  11. I would get Foles, draft a QB 2nd or 3rd round and Jones. Have them duke it out but favor hot QB for preseason games. Our first pick needs to be best available O-lineman. Prefer a LT to replace Glenn and move Glenn to RT (more a Ballard Type) or RG.
  12. For what purpose? We need upside! Keep drinking! No to Romo!!! Dude gets hurt too much and that is what we are having big problems with.
  13. Why would he want to waste his time? LA uses 1st pick on Goff, who do you think they are going to play! http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/17157259/los-angeles-rams-grant-nick-foles-request-release
  14. http://www.nfl.com/player/nickfoles/2532842/careerstats I think he would be perfect, has mobility, young, big, throws long and isn't really damaged (wants to be a starter), has played in cold weather and knows McCoy!
  15. Felton will play H-back then. Clay really poses no situational issues, average whatever he does. If I were the Pegula's I would write the check as a gift to the child's birth. Great PR and also a point being made!
  16. The Bills pay him 16 paychecks, why do you think that is? All those other days are all about those 16 days. The Bills don't need any player that is not able to meet those obligations. A few times someones talent is so big they over look this. Clay is not one of those players. I bet he is cut at the end of the season unless his cap hit is just too big after resigning. I am betting if the Bills miss the playoffs they gut and cut this team up and only hold on to players that help them 2-3 years out.
  17. Who cares, he doesn't do enough to worry one way or the other!
  18. He wants to clock reset but keeps Brandon around, keeps Whaley around. Where is the reset, Marrone walked away, had to hire a new coach. Even the uniforms changed before he took over. He did the same thing for the Sabres before he cleaned house, now they are building through the draft, new leadership! As a fan I didn't see him reset this team, this still feels like a Wilson lead team except they are really quick to hand money out. Same kind of results, 7-9 to 9-7. I like the Pegula's they have helped Buffalo. I just don't see how he has reset this team!
  19. Pegula needs to have empathy for the fan. The 16 years is about them, not him. He even has players that have been around 7+ years. Does it mean their struggles mean nothing. As fans we just want a team to be proud of, work hard, have fun, stay out of trouble. Wins are extra. Wins come when the right players are in place, that is the job, get the right players. Been awhile since I looked at the team in a way that I said there is no way this team can lose. We are not there so keep trying!
  20. This is why you do not draft a hurt player. Now our 1st and 2nd rounders are done and we had no 1st pick last year. Our 1st pick the year before is coming back from injury. No wonder we don't win more than 7 to 9 games most of the time the past 16 years. There systemically something wrong with the Bills franchise. Even luck would give us one 10 win season, Unbelievable!
  21. I didn't think Gilmore was worth the 11 million he is getting. You do not pay corners over 10 mil a year. 4-6 in the back field which means you need 4-6 good guys not 1 stud and average guys. Best pass coverage is a good pass rush!!!! Doesn't matter right now but he needs his legs under him so camp is important. I remember when Revis signed late, he was worthless for half a season. Gilmore does get hurt allot to and has missed camp time before with small injuries. 7-8 mil/yr no more.
  22. https://www.nflconcussionsettlement.com/ On April 18, 2016, the Third Circuit affirmed the District Court’s order in full. On April 28, 2016, certain objecting Settlement Class Members filed a Petition for Rehearing En Banc asking the Third Circuit to reconsider the appeal. If that petition is denied, the objecting Settlement Class Members still may seek review by the United States Supreme Court. The Settlement will not become effective until after all possible appeals are resolved in favor of the Settlement or the time to appeal has run out.
  23. Like I said, talk to Darryl Talley, Jim Kelly, Thurman Thomas, Joe Dellamaure, Fred Smerlas, Shane Nelson, Keith Everett. Look at Kent Hull's untimely death, Jr Seau's. The NFL is being sued! What do you not get about how dangerous this sport is and how little the NFL has done to fix this until recently. I love the game but that doesn't mean that maybe it should do more to stop life altering changes to human beings. I guarantee you it was Roger Goodell who made Whaley back track his statement today. He broke the NFL Integrity Rule by implicating the NFL to his own moral feelings about humans playing the sport of football. I am willing to bet the NFL will take action!
  24. It is a profound statement of culpability that has legal implications for the NFL. The GM is privy to legal representation of this team in court. If something happens he is called into court with the lawyers. He helps maintain the rules of safety representing 1/32 NFL franchises. He is the director of scouting that convinces human beings to join their franchise. This was a BIG mistake, not something just misspoken.
  25. Do you really think the NFL is that innocent that it doesn't deserve to be sued for the neglect that occurs to humans for the "sport of it". They are in litigation for this and a high ranking member of 1/32 teams just came out and basically said yes the NFL is very dangerous to human beings that maybe they shouldn't be playing the sport. This statement made regular news stations too, it isn't just sensationalism. Your ability not to be able to grasp this point shows that you think this is just fun and games! Talk to Darryl Talley and Thurman Thomas about how devastating football was to them, even though they still love it. This is news and that statement will be used in court!
