I feel your pain. The media here, WGR550 fears saying something wrong about the Bills. John Murphy actually attacked a fan on the radio for suggesting Whaley should have put himself on the stand first. Actually, in a situation like this the owner should have taken the heat. That was obviously his decision because he owes Rex 16-20 million. At the very least the GM should have addressed the media for picking Lynn and sitting Taylor. Pegula really needs to review whether Whaley should stay on too. He has EJ, Watkins and Lawson for last 4 years of 1st round draft picks. EJ is gone next year, Watkins the following if not franchise tagged or signed. That is pretty poor for a team who says it is playoff ready. This team has a long way to go to look like a professional organization, it poorly handles the media and its fans. I miss Empire Sports, it allowed a much better look inside the BIlls and the Bills fed off it. Pegula could hire the right people without needing to start over with players. Could hire AJ back as President, keep Whaley as GM, with Philips/Schwartz as HC and keep Lynn as OC. Whaley alone isn't good enough.

Tyrod is benched, this is so he stays healthy so they don't have to pay him next year. He is gone because they need a better passing game and last week isn't enough to make that decision change for next year.

Newer generations don't care, they all received trophies for playing not winning. Different world, I am starting to realize the only way I make a difference is to pull my money away. Trump should have bought this team, he would have made sure he had winners on this team or your fired! I will be canceling Game Pass, NFL Sunday Ticket, etc.. if Bills fail to address this situation in a detailed business assessment. If all that matters they filled the stadium then we will fing out if my $300 plus matters to the NFL, my reason 1-32 franchises has failed to keep my interest!

Who cares, your saving your company. These guys are proving they can't do it. Darieus has had 6-7 years and fails, not a Pro-bowler. Rebuild, draft choices are cheap, pay the players off in the trade. Money isn't the issue. Being relevant is!

Not continuing the same path, 7-8 and can only get back to where we were last year. Running was 1st last year, where have we gotten better? We can do allot, I would give Rex one more chance with a new DC and a new QB, no choice quit! Whaley runs the show of who gets played. If it fails, fire everyone. Whaley gets fired, new GM that Rex approves still has to get a new DC. Has two years to get to playoffs in two years or whole thing blown up. Get smart, sell off McCoy, Watkins, Darieus, etc.. for top picks and start totally over. Brandon only has business operations, new President hired who hires GM, GM hires HC with ownership and President agreeing. Start acting like a billion dollar business.

Marv Levy was Special Teams! Good post! Last time a Special Team guy lead Bills we were in 4 straight Super Bowls. Guess what Marv spent time as HC in Kansas. Bring in Haslett as DC and Reich OC and you might have something. Reed WR, Thurman Thomas RB's, Smerlas Defense line. At least us old guys can reminisce. Ah, Special Teams is a Coordinator, it is 1/3 of a NFL Team

Because you usually get more yards per play throwing, you dont run off as much time so more plays. How is that to start.

When did we lose all of our reasonable thoughts? When we hit an age that watched the playoff teams of the Bills as adults and now haven't seen one in 16 going on 17 years. Kinda makes you realize what is reasonable.

So a person that throws a statement out that "Usually winning teams don't need a HC" can't get facts thrown at him because he is hiding behind a statement because he uses the word "Usually". That protects him from response? You must be a Liberal minded person. Go ahead and SPIN, the fact is that not all teams that hire HC's do so because they are losing. Losing teams generally are losing because they USUALLY make bad choices. Winning teams USUALLY make good HC decisions and don't select from a pool with limited leadership qualifications, USUALLY!

Bills needed a HC coach after a 9-7 team. Our Sabres HC got fired after a 106 point season. What on earth are you talking about. If your not in the Superbowl your job could be at risk. Do you really think if Belichek retired NE would look at a HC that currently is a coordinator with less than 1 year experience?

If Lynn is asking to be looked as a HC candidate the League has a obligation to do so based on being a minority. Ted Cottrell never got hired, that is all the proof you need it won't happen. At least Ted had the experienced needed to be a HC, he probably should have been hired by us instead of Gailey.

He hasn't even been hired as a OC yet for a year and your going to promote him to HC. His passing attack stinks too and your going to promote him to HC. How much worse can this situation actually get. Rex fired Roman promotes Lynn to OC then get fired because Bills like him better. What a story this will make in the national media!!!

I would retain him if he gives up control of his defense completely. But to be honest I would rather keep Lynn as OC and all other position coaches and go get Philips or Schwartz as HC. We should have made Schwartz HC after Marrone left for continuity and reward for his defense. I personnelly think we are cursed and should bring back the coach who took us to the playoffs 2-3 years he was HC and got fired after being 8-8. Just don't let him hire position coaches again, lol.
