Two trade moves by one team noone has spoke of but makes sense. Cleveland needs a FRANCHISE QB after missing for years. Cleveland tries to get 2nd pick from Giants for next years 1st, 33,35 and 60 but gets turned down. Cleveland trades to 2 with Giants for 4th pick, 33 and 108. Cleveland trades to 5 with Denver for 2019 1st and 2nd, 35 and 60. Cleveland gets Allen 1st over all and 2 pick is Nelson. Jets select Darnold, Giants select Barkley and Cleveland selects Rosen with 5th pick. Cleveland at end of summer trades Rosen (who looked real good too) after seeing Allen not have accuracy issues for 1st, 2nd and 3rd pick 2019 from Giants.

Garoppolo got to sit behind Brady to learn and isn't a sure thing in SF. Means nothing except what we know already. Shouldn't risk Bills future with 1st pick on a guy that needs to sit for 3-4 years before he become Garoppolo. I would do that to get a guy who might be Young, Favre, Brees, Rodgers. These guys were good but sat behind someone then got the job and went to Superbowls. Young, Brees and Favre each failed with original team.

If I was Cleveland I would trade up with Giants giving then next years 1st and 33, 35,60, 108, 137. Would draft Darnold, Allen and with 4th pick Barkley or Chubbs. I think Allen is the guy but could be the BIG miss. They can't miss this year, Tyrod is good enough to put you in middle of league next year. If needed they could trade 4 to Giants but would need trade to 5 with similar deal. If Cleveland ends up with any combination of Allen (must) Darnold, Baker, Rosen as safer picks and can land Chubbs or Barkley, you are good with not having another pick in this draft. Do whatever it takes. Cleveland at end of preseason can trade 2nd QB drafted after Allen for 1st next year if Allen looks like the guy! Tyrod is playing unless hurt anyway to build on winning again.

Don't want any RB, CB, S, TE, DE, K, P, OT, FB, C/G. Our needs are too great at MLB, WR, OLB, DT and QB of the future protection.

Watch the college tape all you want. Till he takes a snap in the NFL you don't know if his questions marks get better or worse. That is what happen to EJ and Rudolph is closer to being EJ than you think.

Yeah I keep forcing Baker to 12 but it just isn't going to happen. I want 2 middle linebackers for Bills. They play a 4-2 nickle, extra safety allot. 2 linebackers roam side line to side line and may blitz or drop into cover depending on down/pass/run. So Smith, Edmunds, Evans and Esch are my targets. I want 2 of these guys in 1st. I have Bills 12 taking Baker forced or Smith or Edmunds, 22 going Moore WR and moving into 1st again with Philly or whoever to get Esch or Evans.

I agree with you but that tends to get you in the 1st rounder and why 1st rounders not 1 over all tend to fail. Again I like Baker (stats), Lauletta ( smart, leader), Falk( pure strong arm pocket passer with accuracy low INT's) just not mobile. I actually like and think McCarron has what it takes but know odds are better by bringing in to camp 4 legitimate QB's and keep 3 till you find the franchise guy.

Well obviously what they do in the NFL is what matters but without a crystal ball we don't know this. The Bills have the analytics and know what there offense might look like next year. We can kind of look at McCarron as the type of QB they are looking for. Obviously they are not going spread or Option with McCarron. Looks like they are a standard under center 3-5 step back maybe West Coast offense. Until we see our receivers it will be hard to envision anything else. One thing I am sure is we don't want a running QB, just did that.

Lauletta has more of what it takes but lacks that huge arm, sorry, not against Rudolph but I don't see him as a 1st rounder. I also like Baker, Falk and Lauletta way more. Allen interests me but not moving up, project and Bills have needs. The people that say he has accuracy issues don't really know him. He is a 57% passer on a bad team and bad line. He had to take a higher degree of difficult passes than the cream of this draft, they were behind allot. This guy is a freak athlete, just needs 2-3 years grooming and you could have Young, Elway, McNab here. That is why he will be Cleveland's pick!

McNab had all the skills and CAM is a generational type QB. You don't hear anyone saying Jackson is one of those guys. Allen is much more like those two. Jackson is a tall Mike Vick. He might make it but odds are greater he won't.

I still would want to take the QB I want, not who drops. Cleveland has the picks to get Giants second pick over anyone else. They have 4th pick and 3 second round picks. If they like Barkley that much give all your 2nd's 33,35,60,108 to Giants or next years 1st, 33 and 35 and select 1, 2 and 4. Noone has ever done that!!!!! Telling me the Giants wouldn't do that? Because you say Rudolph and Falk are mid round QB's don't make it true. Both have everything to win as a pocket QB with good stats in college to go with it. I believe no matter what, McCarron starts in 2018. I believe Bills will carry 3 QB's and the reason 4 are there is for competition, may the best man win! That is how you find the best players, not by moving up selecting high on one player and say, here's the keys. Maybe the only one worth that is Darnold and we are not getting him.

That could be deflection. If you bring in the guy you like 2-3 times sitting at 12 and Miami likes them then you signaling to another team they need to trade up. QB is a position another team could do stupid things to get there guy.

First you learned nothing last year how these boys run. McDermott changed QB's because he thought they could win more, changed back when he was wrong rather then develop him. They were 9-7 and went to the playoffs and you think regressing is what Bills want to do? I am not going to argue the value of a "Franchise QB" but how you land one I will. Unless you can get Giants pick 2 then your not possibly getting "your" man for sure. If your man is picked by Cleveland then you're screwed. No way your willing to give up 4-5 picks for either 1 of 2 QB's. I am of a better view that multiple good choices at QB with talent to develop is the better way to go. Bills have their starter next year in VET, McCarron. I would rather have Bills get a combination of 2 QB's from; Lauletta, Falk, Rudolph, White, Litton, McGough. We have 9 picks and 6 in top 96. I would grab a QB in 2nd and 3rd round. My choice is Falk and Lauletta. Might even bring in McGough in 4-5 round. Might as well get a real up and front look at QB then weed out the losers quick or put them on your practice squad if you like a couple. If Baker or Allen falls to 12 and that is your guy you take him, you could argue they are "High Value Franchise" types. You don't take Rudolph or Jackson there. Trade up from 22 if you really want one and looks like they will be gone. You have Smith and Edwards plus some good DT there at 12 you get them. Too many needs with limited money. Unless someone really wants Lawson and considers him a late 1st to 2nd value I don't see Bills doing this with QB's available like Rudolph, Falk, Lauletta, Litton, McGough and White. Any of these guys could be Brees, Brady, Wilson, Favre. The talent is there and Lauletta might be one of the smartest football wise in the past 20-30 years.

Ward has been to the Bills lately. Don't agree with this at 12 over a MLB or QB but that would depend on who is left. I personally think Bills should go defense with both 12 and 22. If Baker is at 12, I would take the chance then go MLB at 22 with Evans or Esch

I personally think Cleveland will go Allen 1st overall, they have time to groom with Taylor. Taylor has a big arm and is accurate, he has things he could teach Allen, Allen can run too. They give Giants what they want so they don't get stupid and select RB. Cleveland will pick 2 also and get Barkley. Giants get pick 4, pick 32 (pretty much like a 1st pick) and a 4th rounder . Now the Giants can fix either line (Nelson or Chubbs) and get next best back top of the 1st round. I say QB will be there at 34 for them in Rudolph. NO PROBLEM. You have changed your tune. I started a post over a month ago after Bills traded to 12th pich and said, "With the 12th pick Bills select" . You blasted me telling me no way Bills would move to 12th and stay there. They have to move up and get their QB. What changed? "Actually, they can only get one very good player. They did not trade up to 12 to pick Lamar Jackson. They're going to move up further. "

You agree with this pick? Do you think Buffalo needs to trade up to the top 5 for a QB? My guess is your answer is yes. Either that or you don't think the QB position is that important. This draft has 1 true #1 QB, 4 legitimate QB's for the 1st round. It has two swing the bat types with tremendous athletic ability. Why on earth would you think Cleveland wouldn't draft a QB 1st and get their exact guy they want. As great as Peterson was he never got Minnesota to the big game. Taylor is not the future. Who Cleveland grabs at QB is the question. Cleveland has more picks then the Bills. I could see Cleveland moving to pick 2 and getting 1-2 pick. Giants need much more than RB, O-line and D-line is a joke. They could use a extra 2nd pick which Cleveland is loaded with. Then Cleveland gets everything they want and Giants at 4 picks Nelson or Chubbs. Cleveland is the player here, Giants can't afford to go for RB with Eli the QB still. If Giants stay at 2 they are grabbing the QB of the future. Only reason to stay there, get so much more in a trade.

Great article, No way CAM or Manziel could make those calls. Sounds like this kid is a young Brady. If Bills like him than grab him with a 2nd round pick, don't wait. I have said from the beginning I would rather draft Falk and Lauletta to compete with McCarron and Peterman and may the best man win. You can then use 1st round pics to beef up team. Your going to give up allot to get Baker or Allen and they may not end up any better than those 4 players on your team. Not worth the risk.

If the Bills could package 22, next years first, Lawson and 56 for 7th pick and also pick 12 that would be awesome. Pick Baker or Allen at 7 and MLB Edwards or Smith at 12 than the Bills would be genius’
