  1. They have three full lines to get through training camp, and have a lot to play with to get the best 5 to start the season
  2. I think he (Mike Florio) still lives in West Virginia. They're usually good about posting something if you send a link in.
  3. Outside of Green Bay (which is grandfathered in) we are the smallest metropolitan area. That's why the Batavia idea makes some sense. Combining the Rochester and Buffalo greater metropolitan areas would rival Pittsburgh. I don't doubt that placing the stadium downtown would help revitalize the area. That being said, I don't think that is at the top of the NFL's to do list. As Jerrah points out, they want to grow the pie. Do we have a better shot with Canada or Rochester? Toronto is huge, but they won't fill the Sky Dome (excuse me) Rogers Center for us.
  4. link Reminds me of "the Incredible Bulk" Tony Mandarich (who also played for the Colts)
  5. Russell Wilson just has so much tread left on the tires, great leadership, already a SB winner...
  6. Short list Baseball Sky Dome Dunn Tire Park Hockey The Aud HSBC/First Niagara Football Arrowhead Raymond James RWS College Football Florida State - Doak Campbell
  7. I think 14 years without playoffs is pitting fans against each other. We all love the Bills. Can't we all just get along?
  8. These ^^^ I think it is very difficult to overhaul your mechanics. It's not impossible, but I imagine it would take a huge amount of effort and repetition. Are two one week sessions enough? I would think he needs to practices these things for hours everyday. Is he? I don't know. Tom Brady did it after the Giants Super Bowl win over the Pats, but he's Tom Brady. He shortened his throwing motion so it is very compact and fast. I could see him spending 10 hours a day in front of a mirror to change his throwing motion. He's that dedicated. I hope EJ is that dedicated.
  9. DROY: Aaron Donald OROY: Cody Latimer
  10. Batavia does make some logistical sense being right in the middle of Rochester and Buffalo. Combining the greater metropolitan areas of Buffalo-Cheektowaga-Niagara Falls and Rochester yields a population in the neighborhood of Charlotte and Pittsburgh. It's mostly farmland, so you can eat up a lot of space with fewer layout restrictions. Getting on/off the 90 will take the most work, plus you don't want everyone to have to stop to get tickets or pay tolls.
  11. I think the other stats are important as we'll 13 1st rounders with the same team 19 1st rounders on different teams or out of the league (ours being one of them)
  12. Wow I didn't expect Watkins' name to have been brought up so quickly
  13. And so his illustrious career ends link
  14. I don't think Erie county would allow the Bills to leave even if they're in the area. Plus there is the whole tax base to pay for the stadium. If the counties came to some sort of mutual arrangement, I'd be surprised. It could only be done under pressure from the state.
  15. Groton reminds me of Frank Reich. Led his college team back from a large deficit then did the same for us against Houston.
  16. I think another serious need is 3-down LB. Someone to pair with Kiko in the nickel package. I was hoping for CJ Mosley but perhaps that would be too many CJs.
  17. The only Bills receiver to have three consecutive 1000 yard seasons was 4th on the depth chart?
  18. Draft kids love everybody on draft day (they may just not like the spot). The funniest was watching Sapp choke down his criticism of Clowney to be complementary. You know he was dying to say something.
  19. 100 out about 14,000 members I was hoping for a larger sample size. It seems like most people are pleased with the move. I feel like I dislike it more with moving SJ to SF. It seems more like a personality clash. You don't talk about adding weapons around EJ then simultaneously get rid of your first ever back-to-back-to-back 1,000 yard seasons WR. I hope it all works out, but my pessimism keeps me skeptical. Now let's see how pick number two unfolds.
  20. We gave up our most productive receiver for a fourth (maybe 3rd)... First WR with back-to-back-to-back 1000 yard seasons... We gave up two first round and a fourth round pick for someone who hasn't played a down in the NFL yet... We said we're trying to get EJ as many weapons as possible while trading away the most productive receiver on the roster... Man I feel like we're just spinning our wheels in the mud. Good luck Stevie! I followed you since UK, and wish you much success. You're going to great organization.
  21. OK, taking last season's record*, that gets us to 8-8. Probably not enough to make the playoffs even if they're expanded. *I acknowledge the team isn't the same (FA, Draft, injuries), but the same is for the other 31 teams who all consider themselves to have improved.
  22. What does Sammy Watkins have to do to justify the trade and the pick? 1600 yards and 16 touchdowns (100 yards and 1 TD per game)? 1200 yards and 12 touchdowns (75 yards and 0.75 TD per game)? 800 yards and 8 touchdowns (50 yards and 0.5 TD per game)? Be the difference maker in 4 games? Be the difference maker in 3 games? Be the difference maker in 2 games? Be the difference maker in 1 game?
