  1. Just wondering, is it possible to have one thread with all the published news/tweets/links and another for just the comments? I'm trying to keep up with the articles, but so many get buriedor repeated as the number of pages are growing very quickly.
  2. Exactly. He could have aligned himself with others from WNY. The Rich family, Jacobs family, or an assortment of names that recently popped up that I never heard of. Instead it's a group based solely out of Toronto, who we know wants to see a team there. Rogers himself was looking to build a stadium there. I don't think a non-binding letter to a newspaper will aid his credibility in any way. It's a PR stunt, and a rather weak one.
  3. C'mon man! We're already down Kiko!
  4. I had $1.315B. They better reveal the price down to the penny
  5. Wasn't the Cleveland sale speculated to be $1.2B?
  6. Tim G Twitter says Trump bid $1B The tally: Trump - $1B JBJ - $1.2B Pegual - $1.3B
  7. This was supposedly done by Rogers when looking at a solo bid. It in no way reflects JBJ's official position on relocation. Although I'm sure we can all guess what it is.
  8. I 2nd the motion. The uncertainty is nerve wracking!
  9. If it's $1.315B that's the guess I had in the bragging rights thread
  10. Careful, don't forget Golisano has a lead in that department!
  11. I think we can and should beat the Bears. Their strength is their passing offense going against our strength of passing defense. Then we have our running game against their terrible run defense. I like our chances.
  12. There are simply too many to think of and I don't wish to relive any of them.
  13. They are probably trying to get other WRs in the mix since Sammy is locked in and already looking good.
  14. I do admit that was the happiest moment in our 14 years out of the playoffs for me. It reminds me of the Little Giants where we'll always have that "one time".
  15. 1 - @Chicago: I think we'll win this game. Our #2 rushing attack against their #32 rushing defense, then strength against strength their #5 passing offense versus our #4 pass defense. Pound the ball, and run them out of their own stadium. WIN (1-0) 2 - Miami: another game we should pound the ball. WIN (2-0) 3 - SD: this game comes down to the QBs. LOSS (2-1) 4 - @Houston: it will take time to turn that team around. WIN (3-1) 5 - @Detroit: this game will be tough. Their passing offense can light it up, and our run offense can't keep up. LOSS (3-2) 6 - NE: we should be able to win this game at home, but as usual we'll find some way to screw it up. LOSS (3-3) 7 - Minn: with our improved rushing defense we carry the day. WIN (4-3) 8 - @NYJ: I think we blow them out and Rex gets fired. I can't see how he can keep the team together much longer. WIN (5-3) 9 - KC: if we can follow the same formula as last time without the mistakes we should win. That said... LOSS (5-4) 10 - @Miami: their coach may be on the hot seat. Easy win. WIN (6-4) 11 - NYJ: beat 'em again. WIN (7-4) 12 - Cle: welcome Pettiness back them send him home with a loss. WIN (8-4) 13 - @Denver: enough said. LOSS (8-5) 14 - GB: Aaron Rodgers puts on a show. LOSS (8-6) 15 - @Oak: I dont see anything threatening about that team + no QB. WIN (9-6) 16 - @NE: playoffs on the line we beat NE on their turf. WIN (10-6) tie breakers give us the division! WTH when did I become an optimist? 'Tis the season I guess.

  17. I remember the Bud Adams deal. But I didn't see anything in the ESPN article about Fitz refusing a pay cut.
  18. Really? I don't recall any of this. Is there a link to a news article?
  19. John Wawrow, I just want to say thanks and kudos for being a part of this message board. I'm sure in this new age of media it isn't easy to not only report on topics, but to have to consistently defend your reporting. You have observations and opinions and so do fans. Sometimes they agree and sometimes they don't. Yet you don't shy away from it. You step into this jungle knowing you can be pounced on for any phrase or statement. Bold move sir. (and IMHO you handle it better than Tim G.) So thanks and keep up the good work.
  20. Since this is a look back... What I had wished for at the time was that we'd grab Geno Smith (I thought he was #1, Manual was #2) and sit him behind Fitz a year or two. This is all pure speculation, but I felt Fitz could have won us a couple games last year (KC game comes to mind; and cue the "I'm nuts" replies). Fitz should have had no problem picking up a new offense and mentoring the new guy. That said, the choice was made, and EJ is our guy. Whatever light bulb needs to turn on, I hope it does so early enough in this season to get us into the playoffs. GO BILLS!!!!!
  21. Hogan is also very good on ST, and a pretty good backup WR. Graham to me offers nothing special. He's fast but can't catch.
