  1. As opposed to being effectively eliminated from the playoffs in October?
  2. Yeah, I don't get Bills fans bagging on Reid and the Chiefs. Not given the 20+ years of ineptitude that has characterized our beloved bumbling franchise.
  3. Well, I have my ***** together a bit better than this guy.
  4. Hmmm, heroin and cigarettes are pretty magical too. Doesn't mean they are good for you.
  5. I'd rather be sodomized by syphilitic rhino, thank you very muchl
  6. They outscore the Pats 31-17 in the second half and 24-14 in 4th quarter. They win the toss before OT they likely win and everyone marvels at the gutty performance.
  7. It was 2nd and 7. And it wasn't even the last drive of regulation. Very bad call but not anywhere near as important as the Offside call, or the missed pick penalty on KC.
  8. Really hard to say KC choked. Down 14-0 at the half, down by 3 with 39 seconds and they tied it. It really came down to who won the coin flip. My wife and I both knew it the minute the ref called heads. Give KC the ball first and they likely score a TD. Neither defense had anything left in the 4th quarter. With respect to going for the FG with 11 seconds left, if there had been a sack, and the clock had run out people would have been screaming about how stupid Reid was. Odds of there being a guy open in the end zone with a quick dropback are slim, and any extended dropback and a sack is on the table.
  9. Conquering all of Europe and coming close to destroying the USSR was amazing. Horrific and incredibly awful yes, but still amazing, lol.
  10. OTOH, the pass to Watkins was clearly a missed pick call, and no one hates the Pats more than I do.
  11. yeah, well people had tons of respect for Hitler in Nov. 1941 because what he did was amazing. Didn't make him any less loathsome.
  12. but in this game only one team was allowed to play offense in overtime.;
  13. How is it that the Pats have the most obnoxious coach and QB, and the smuggest, smarmiest piece of ***** Owner? Makes me ill.
  14. Nope. I think both teams get at least one chance, then if tied next score wins. This game was decided the minute the fuc*ing Pats won the coin toss. With the rules the way they are defenses don't stand a chance, particularly at the end of games.
  15. Elbert "Golden Wheels" Dubenion. Hell, he's still alive and even at 85 (soon to be 86) he would likely be better than most of the Bills' current receivers. ? He would even fit in with the current politicalization of the game. He and other black players boycotted the 1965 AFL All Star game in New Orleans because of discrimination there and forced the game to be moved to Houston.
  16. I don't necessarily disagree with you. I just feel a bit sorry for the guy because he'll be selling life insurance come next September.
  17. It demonstrates how important it is to try and fix Allen's deficiencies as a passer. Running QBs can look good for a while, but for long term and consistent success you have to have a QB who is at least an adequate passer (and hopefully better).
  18. Actually if you want to place blame look at the Bears' offense. You expect to win games if you only give up 16 points. Doesn't change the fact that a kicker who had a below average year failed at a game winning kick that, while certainly not a gimme by any stretch was still not a lengthy prayer.
  19. It is rough on the kicker and not excusing the fans, but keep in mind the guy had the most missed kicks in the NFL this season. It wasn't like the fans boo'd the guy for his first miss ever. At least the kicker will likely never be boo'd again since my guess is his career is over. Finding a new kicker will be a priority in Chicago.
  20. Then again, if the Bills pull out a win in the first Fins game they likely don't crap out against the Jets and head into the Pats game with some serious momentum. They still likely lose that game, but finishing at 8-8 with a head of steam heading into '19 might entice more and better FAs that more than compensate for dropping some slots in the draft. Teams that tank generally are ***** franchises that start losing as a habit. I'd rather have seen the Bills go 6-1 down the stretch, but ymmv.
  21. Big shout out to Levi, who has gone from a walk on to starter on Alabama's NC team, to being an UDFA who may be at the top of this year's class. Great to see someone on the Bills from Tucson making it big.
  22. I know it's a good thing at the moment, but hearing wide right is always a punch in the gut.
  23. Although players who go to Buffalo generally end up loving it, it is a struggle getting any decent guys to bite, which leads to overpaying and further disappointment. Lather, rinse repeat, it's been the story since the mid-90s. Plus I just don't trust any decisions made by this organization.
  24. Lost at home to a horrible Jets team. Losing at home to a horrible Lions team. There is very little foundation to build on, so those expecting any significant improvement next year are in for a nasty surprise. The Bills may not be the worst organization in the NFL, but they are certainly in the conversation.
  25. As would that steaming pile my dog just left on the lawn.
