JMO but although Josh has greatly improved his accuracy, Mahomes still has the advantage there. The good news is that Josh is still ascending while I don’t expect Pat to get better.

Its the great debate. Allen more the power player. Pat still a bit more refined in the passing game. They are both great.

They are letting little pulls and tugs go. Arm wraps not so much whether they affect the WR or not.

I wish I could agree but to me he is mid 4s not 3s. And I don’t see much in the way of moves that suggests to me he won’t be a good route runner. Hope I’m wrong or that they can develop him.

Coverage often isn’t bad. Maybe the way to deal with him is not to go all out to sack him but try keeping him in the pocket as job one.

I think he will recover and be good to go. I don’t think he’s got character issues. Unfortunately I agree he won’t be there at 25. He’d be the first WR off the board but for the injury. But the draft is deep at the position and maybe another top shelf WR falls to us. Or we take the center and move up in the second depending on who is still there. Don’t want to see a top heavy defensive draft. That would be a bad sign imo.

Getting over it means being able to look into the future with confidence. Ive always felt that McD is a good and fully qualified and experienced professional football coach but I’ve had my doubts about his suitability as a top tier head coach of the kind that can lead you to a championship. I say that believing for the most part in his ability to prepare and motivate his roster fully acknowledging that with most any coach (except maybe the greatest of them) there will be bumps in the road ala Jacksonville. The last 13 seconds perfectly illustrates my concerns with him but it really only confirms a course of conduct that has been noticeable for a long time. Maybe one charitable way of describing it is as a lack of confidence in himself and in his resources. I worry that despite having arguably the greatest player in the game at the all important position coaching may unduly hamper our chances of acceding to a championship, bearing in mind that even with the best coaching nothing is guaranteed. Its a character thing and I believe from experience that it is hard for people to change. And that I suspect is what is called for.

To me Mike Williams also fills the bill. Word is that Bolts are looking to draft his replacement. This years WR draft is deep though and depending on whose available when we are on the board that’s where I would look in the first or second rounds. We went D at the top of last years draft. Maybe we should be giving Josh a better supporting class, RB, WR. O-line (center).

Love the way his long ball accuracy has shown up. I knew it would. His weaponry is now complete. And he will hone those skills. He’s not done getting better. He’s going to be the consensus best player in the game. Bills need to find him a couple more skill position players, draft or FA.

There are prolly 5 first round worthy WRs in the draft. Maybe we nab one. The smart money seems to be saying another CB.

McD isn’t going anywhere. But if he never makes it to a Super Bowl (and of course I hope he does) these 13 seconds will be his defining moment and his legacy. He will go down as the Neville Chamberlain of football.
