  1. Bass is steady but I'm not sure he's clutch.
  2. Looking at her I confess I don't think I'm man enuf.
  3. And it'll only get better when Williams is soon activated.
  4. We can scheme to stop the run, like we did against Cleveland. Problem is Goff, like Brisset, will then have a career day throwing the football.
  5. Looks to me like more of the same.
  6. Dorsey seems to me to be the main problem with this offence and probably with Josh. Based on his game plans and playcalls he looks in over his head. We will see if he can make adjustments now that teams have a better handle on how to defend the Bills O. There’s nothing surprising in having a mid season slump (its a long season and most teams have had or will have their ups and downs) but you’ve got to be able to respond. If Dorsey cant do that he needs to go.
  7. Josh fell down and rolled over after releasing the ball. Wonder if he's hurt.
  8. Just one of many hilarious moments today. My fav? Dodson making Brisset look like Todd Gurly in his prime.
  9. He fast. He bad fast. Hes also quick and good in space. I'm sure we will get a good look at him soon.
  10. A one handed catch at that. That guy is really special.
  11. I suspect that McD is a good football coach. Maybe he should be inactive on game days though.
  12. Quite apart from throws that represent bad decisions Josh has in this funk also thrown some bad balls. As others have pointed out, his receivers bailed him out a number of times yesterday with good catches on balls that were poorly thrown. One wonders if Josh is experiencing again the mechanical issues that impacted his accuracy before they were resolved. It happens. Some years ago Aaron Rodgers (when indisputably in his prime) got into a funk and had a stretch of. 3-4 games where his game fell apart. Turns out he too has to manage his mechanics because of unhelpful tendencies he can fall into. He got through them working with his then QB coach N. Hackett and turned things around.
  13. Its ok. He doesn't understand what he's saying either.
  14. I like your sense of humour. Its a gas.
  15. To me it's only all about a botched exchange. Something that should simply not happen - but does. Football gods are cruel.
  16. He's looking like the 2017 Allen. But he'll be back. I'm not one for speculation or conspiracy theories but I must say even as a casual observer that I've noticed his facial expressions when on the side lines and body language are such that I don't remember ever having seen before. He looks confused and somewhat deflated. Not the intangibles we are used to seeing. Maybe the question is whether this is simply a reaction to poor play or whether it points to another reason that could be a contributing cause and that we as fans at this point have little insight into.
  17. Josh got fat. Too many donuts.
  18. As has been mentioned Josh seems to have issues executing the QB sneak when the game is on the line. You can't disregard the similarity between when Simmons blew up Dawkins and Josh slipped last year and the fumbled exchange yesterday. Maybe in those situations Josh is simply too amped up and not collected enuf. In principle you'd think that with a guy like him it should be automatic. Lots of posters were calling for more QB sneaks on short yardage attempts. As for whether it was the right call or not, I could be wrong but it looked to me like there was room for him to easily gain at least a couple of yards through the A gap to his right and I got the impression that's where he was planning to go except he forgot to bring the ball. For sure there were other playcalls that should have resulted in a victory. Bills blew it.
  19. He's inconsistent. Sometimes good. Sometimes not.
  20. Bernard looks to me like a guy who lacks the minimum level of athleticism needed to play at this level. Looks like a big miss.
  21. The real upside I hope to see from this trade is to have Allen and Dorsey raise Hines's game as a weapon to a higher level. They can have that effect on people. I see the trade as a positive in the short term mostly because Moss could not be counted on to contribute much and Crowder is out. Hines, a veteran, also takes some of the pressure of rooks Shakir and Cook.
  22. Well actually the fanbase knew Fred was a player long before the team (Jauron) did. All aboard the A train. Remember that? Lol. Devin's a good back. And that's about as far as I think you can go. Assuming he takes care of the football he's ok as our lead back (there's no one else to choose from really). He'd be a great complement/change of pace guy to a true #1 but you can't always have what you want. With him and of course Allen the ground game is probably good enuf to take some pressure off the passing game. At least I suspect that is what Beane is thinking.
  23. You're probably right. But although Diggs was unhappy in Minny I don't recall him being a bad actor at all (like maybe Toney is) and he had produced better than Jeudy has. There are pros and cons in any trade evaluation, but Beane has a very low tolerance it seems to me for anything that can adversely affect team chemistry. Not at all the philosophy we see from KC.
