  1. I don't expect the Bills to pick him but I would not be upset at all if they did. Oh and as for you C Buiscut, Matt Millen also drafted Calvin Johnson. Heard of him?
  2. They are just adding up the max of all the contracts they signed. They sure weren't paid that much. It's a shame and completely unnecessary. As others have said there are plenty of good prudent professional money managers who for sure would have made all these guys much richer. I've wondered why teams don't do more to help players with these decisions.
  3. Agree. The standing buffalo is one of the coolest logos in all of sports. It's downright beautiful.
  4. I don't disagree. I would take a chance on an immature player like Honey Badger. But the risk of associating with people who are flat out bad is too great, in all walks of life including football.
  5. Moves made in heaven. Plus straight line speed and incredible quickness. Wouldn't pass on him at 8.
  6. Forget it. He's Laurence Philips, except Laurence could play, unlike RM.
  7. Well you know Skelton having a QB rating 30 points below the league average and Kolb having a QB rating above the league average maybe sheds some light on that. Remember too that Whisenhunt always favoured longer developing crossing routes to slants and quick outs. Kolb will pleasantly surprise in Marrone/hackett's O.
  8. Darius is probably scared to death of this rootin tootin gun shootin linebacker. Just sign Karlos Dansby already.
  9. Nick Saban knew how to use him and stay away from his shortcomings. He can't cover to save his life not to mention the mental mistakes. He would be useless against the Pats (or rather they would make good use of the opportunities he presented them).
  10. Im all for takingchances. I would give Honey Badger a chance. I would take a chance on Lattimore. I would not touch RM with a barge pole.
  11. I'm not sold on him being as good as people seem to think he is. I know his stats for run blocking and pass pro were good when we were interested a few years ago but since then I have tried to focus on him when watching the Hawks and he seemed very susceptible to speed rushers with inside moves as well as the outside. Not saying he would not be an upgrade just maybe not as much as people think. A good RT is not easy to find.
  12. Don't worry. Williams will get him back by taking over his position at NT.
  13. Don't know what happened to my post. I said that he mentioned that NO might not be a good place for him, not the folks who were asking the questions. BTY he also said he didn't want to be called Honey Badger anymore.
  14. I think that's pretty funny - one Sunday a year! Love it.
  15. Jerry loves him some Romo. I think he always did.
  16. I saw him on the morning show and he said he did not feel NO was a good idea. Pretty straightforward. Wasn't putting the team down, just referencing his issues. Don't know if ours is the best lockerroom in terms of veteran leadership and support, but it wouldn't be the worst either. If he is there in the third I would not be in the least upset, depending on how else the draft went for us to that point and who all was left on the board.
  17. Tyler Bray is Ryan Mallett without Petrino and the SEC passing records. That said, I liked Mallett two years ago and still do today. Interesting that the Bills are checking him out given their lack of interest in Mallett (understandable though given they got to draft Kelvin Sheppard in the 3rd instead).
  18. If he falls in the draft I'm definitely a buyer. He's not a bad kid either and he understands that he has behavioural issues that need to be managed. That in itself is positive. When asked recently if he would like to be draftd by the Saints he actually said no because it was too close to home and to trouble. Buff is a long way from the bayou.
  19. Having an openly gay player on an NFL roster would be problematic for the team IMO. Might be possible and maybe even desirable but at the very least the guy would have to be total badass and a great player. MT will be good but the consensus seems to be that he is far from being the next Ray Lewis.
  20. I am ok and hopeful with RB. I think his heart has always been in the right place (though many would doubt it). I remember seeing him after the Lossman fumble in the Jets game, shortly before DJ was fired. Often you cannot read a person by looking at their face and judging their reactions. Sometimes you can. Brandon was sincerely horrified. He really wants to win IMO. And he is smart (never hurts), so he will take counsel from qualified football professionals. I don't think he is a pushover and I expect him to make his own decisions and trust in his own judgement. Anyway, he's now firmly strapped into the drivers seat so its all on him (at least as long as Ralph Wilson owns the team). Naturally I wish him every success.
  21. Another # 1 overall. We're making up for prior draft mistakes (if nothing else).
