  1. Not at all sure Revis is the same player post injury. Their line play on both sides of the ball is bad - and soft. Good coaching can hide many deficiencies but not bad line play. Either it gets much better fast or they are in real trouble. Brady is a pocket passer, meaning he needs a pocket. He's not making any plays outside of that zone. People focus on how good his protection was - and they are right, but he was also very good at making plays when seriously pressured. Not so much now. His # 1 receiver is JE - good slot guy but nuff said. Gronk is much diminished. Looks to me that maybe NE goes looking for a wild card this year. Not quite my Super Bowl favs.
  2. Actually they both suck. Brady looked worse than EJ ever did - missed on 16 of 18 over 15 yards. I expect the Pats to lose again this week.
  3. Yes of course I (just) saw it. I was not surprised by what I saw. I assumed he had clocked her when the first video surfaced. She was clearly knocked out. How do you think that happens? Can't the league and the team put 2 + 2 together? You know what, I think they can and did. What they are doing now is punishing him because they didn't get it right the first time and they felt the heat when the public reacted to their "not getting it right" as RG said at the time.
  4. Well how did they think she got knocked unconscious when he dragged her out of the elevator, you know, when the Ravens pledged him their full support and the NFL handed him just a two game suspension. A mere fainting spell? Maybe they assumed she was just pretending to be unconscious. Not saying RR is without blame but I get the impression that he is now being punished for the league and the team not getting it right the first time and because they feel pressure into doing the politically correct thing now. Maybe an 8 game suspension plus a repeat offender 1 year suspension or worse would have made sense in the first place.
  5. Had the same thought re the refs being back on their heels after that (as they should be).
  6. Yes. That Williams guy is as bad as advertised.
  7. His ball placement was bad all preseason and a disappointment (to me anyway) so when the coaches soured on him as a guy who could be counted on if needed it made sense to me. I must add though that I was also puzzled by his inaccuracy because I was pretty confident he was able to make the throws he was missing.
  8. The problem is that he's a moron. He used to pea in his pants while on the field then he'd brag about how he was fooling the fans. As if anyone cared wether he knew how to use a toilet or not. Moron.
  9. Ok Well if he did say that he shouldn't of. Shame on him if he wished injury on any player. Having said that how many NFL teams would be better off if their starter went down? Hypothetically speaking of course.
  10. Well our DC had him in Detroit. Bills must know something.
  11. And Pryor will improvise or read option a million times better. And with his athleticism to complement that of the many other talented athletes on O it would at least be a heck of a roller coaster ride, albeit perhaps bad for one's health. More fun than having to listen to EJ explain how he thought he did ok in post game pressers following every loss.
  12. If he can still game manage with the talent on this team we could make some noise, like for example still being in the picture late in the year. Not likely to happen with EJ under centre. JMO.
  13. I agree. Picking EJ at # 16 was desperation. Now scrambling at the last minute for a backup who could soon be starting is panic. I thought that was the end of the continuum but someone suggested that the next and last step is auto destruct.
  14. I disagree Mitch. I feel we've shown a lot. Nothing good though. Doug is on the verge of losing it completely. I expect a mental breakdown, maybe on the sidelines on national TV or during a post game presser. Coaching the Bills will do that to you. Remember how Chan went from looking like a normal person to sort of hobo level disheveled at the end.
  15. He's playing possum. They've actually got four whole plays in that book.
  16. Thanks for this. May have been a consensus pick but, as I always thought, Buddy was the boss and the man in charge. Still scratching my head tho. If he's not Doug's guy why has he done so much forward planning ie Watkins, on the assumption that EJ will pan out? If he didn't own the pick in the beginning looks to me to have bought in big time. Loved Buddy's comment on how accurate a passer EJ was. One of the things he most liked about him. Well, he does have huge hands I suppose.
  17. I know he stumbled but before even going there the issue to me is whether Easley shortened the route. On the other hand, either way To me JT had a rough nite. Off the top the only half way decent throw he made was maybe the back shoulder to TJ. And it prolly had nothing to do with having to play with the threes. The throws were just no good. That Webb scrub was the best QB on the field.
  18. But maybe feeding Watkins in the short passing game and looking for YAC takes things off CJ's plate, even assuming Hackett knew how to use him, which so far is not the case. And If BB hits the hole better running with speed and more authority, what does CJ add in the power 1 run game? Personally I don't think CJ is traded. The real value added would be for the OC to attend a Chan Gailey tutorial.
  19. Well, what ever else it may or may not be, let's hope it's not prophetic.
  20. Phew! What a relief! Glad the Bills had it all figured out. Not dissing the football evaluators, but they do seem to get it wrong a lot, and not just the Bills of course. Here's hoping they got it right. Time will tell all.
  21. Bud Elliott is legit. He has no axe to grind for or against, and he is about as astute and dedicated a FSU observer as you can find. I came across his article three quarters through the 2013 season. My immediate reaction was "but wait...that's exactly what I thought I was seeing from EJ". It was not a good feeling. Hopefully the Bills know better than Bud. Or maybe they should have read the article. I suppose we will all find out in due course.
  22. She does something for me. She sends me reaching for rubber underwear. What a face! This cheerleader thing is really serious stuff. Saw on TV where cheerleader's mom took out her daughter's cheerleader rival.
