  1. Brady growing a beard lol. Out to prove to the world that he's not really a girl after all.
  2. They never will. They get old but they never die.
  3. When he's bad (frequently BTW) he's really really bad - unlike a good backup. So he's nothing. He and the fool who drafted him need to go. Mostly nothing. That doesn't work anywhere.
  4. The thing is a remarkably high number of EJ completions "require adjustment" (I congratulate you for coining this understatement lol).
  5. But does Doug Whaley (finally) know/own it?
  6. But surely you must know that what your saying makes no sense. The ball was thrown too low, like the ball Clay caught, and Sammy had to dive forward to gather it in.
  7. EJ's horrible accuracy/ball placement removes him from consideration as a starting QB from the get go, not to mention that Tyrod has a chance to develop into a good QB, something that is entirely beyond EJs ability to achieve IMO.
  8. Percy is fast but the thing that set him apart was his ability to change direction without breaking stride and with terrific explosion. I don't think I've seen that this year or indeed last year when watching the Jets. I get this feeling he's just not the player he was in Minni or even in Seattle. If that's gone forever as a result of injury or for whatever reason then I wouldn't particularly value him as a WR or ST player going forward. Hope I've got that wrong, especially for his sake.
  9. I think he'd be a better RB (if he wasn't already a QB). He's a lot like McCoy. Incredible moves.
  10. The rule says "in the area of the thigh or lower", not the area of the waist. That's why the Cog call was bad. It was even worse than the one on TNF.
  11. I agree. I'd love to see the Bills win in a blowout but that's unlikely. Although I think we'll score some points the defence is going to have to win this game IMO. Expecting a lot from an offence that has so many of its main weapons unavailable or at less than 100% is expecting too much. Tyrod needs to game manage very conservatively and I think that's what Roman will dial up. That will upset a good number of fans, especially if we lose.
  12. I think that attendance in big venues like Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver would not be a problem. The NFL has many fans in Canada. But the CFL is still a roadblock politically. That league and its brand of football are regarded by many as part of the national cultural heritage and there would certainly be an effort to protect it by not allowing a NFL team to relocate there.
  13. Well if it's just a character issue we should be fine given that were a disciplined team with mature coaches and good veteran lockerroom leadership.
  14. I agree with you. Maybe Hogie gets the axe. Well I won't hold that against him then.
  15. Re Trapasso's comment that Moore has been wildly inconsistent does anyone know what his weaknesses have been.
  16. He values the position because he's smart. A good kicker like Gostkowski or the kid in Baltimore will help win you a lot of games. It grates me how kickers, even good ones, get so little respect.
  17. I still think he's a hoot. How's your cat? I like Sherman period. Great one liners. "You mad bro?"
  18. Once Moore gets familiar with the playbook, I wonder if we part ways with Goodwin?
  19. Because Grigson and Pagano are not very smart. He was their main backup to Gore until they had him returning kick offs in the last preseason game injuring his shoulder.
  20. I can see them dropping no more than 2 games, barring injury to key players, Brady, Gronk. They are a well oiled machine just coming off a championship. In early action they obviously have a big leg up on a team like the Bills that is having to manage big changes. I think we will be much more competitive against them later in the year. Could wind up being a "pick 'em" proposition when next they play.
