  1. I'd be surprised if he made it out of the lockerroom alive.
  2. Get in range we they know you are going to work the sidelines, get the FG team on the field and execute. 18 seconds is not plenty of time IMO. Its very likely not enuf.
  3. Like 18 seconds with no TOs. Not enuf to get in range and set up the FG.
  4. Trust me. They have plenty of room to ink M. Jones, and they will. We cant afford to compete for him. Sanu on the other hand should be a value target for Whaley and the Bills.
  5. If Pacman doesnt touch the ref and Peezy is flagged they are out of FG range and the game is likely over.
  6. Add 15 yards to the FG on a rainy windy night and at least they then have to earn it.
  7. Even as currently calculated I think Cinci has over 35 million in cap space.
  8. After the year he has just had Marvin Jones will be resigned by the Bengals, who unlike us have lots of space. I do agree he would be the ideal # 2 for us. Sanu has expressed some disatisfaction at being underutilized in Cinci's O and given what all else they have on the roster thats not going to change. So he could be a good target for us that would not break the bank.
  9. You are absolutely right. And its not just one instance - and thats really the point. There is a very very long list of outstanding WRs that other teams have found in the mid to late rounds of the draft. We have typically gone for the duds in the same drafts, often picking them ahead of the gems other teams have landed. The current FO is not good at scouting, drafting and developing WRs (unlike teams like the Cards, Steelers, Giants etc...and one might even include losers like the Browns). Sure Sammy is probably an elite # 1 in the making but he was also pretty much a slam dunk and we had to burn 2 firsts to get him - hardly astute, more of a slam dunk.
  10. Not saying PacMan should not have been flagged (or Burfict - or Shazier for that matter). Saying Porter should have been flagged as well, especially when the result is to turn a long field goal on a rainy night into a chip shot and gift wrap a playoff game. If it is a refs discretion it was clearly improperly exercised.
  11. I thought as a technical matter only HCs and medical staff have the right to be on the field attending an injured player. And Porter was not even doing that. He was instigating trouble as anyone familiar with him knows. If Burfict has a bad rep that deprives him of the benefit of the doubt should be the same for Porter. Brown is not his player anyway. Porter is a linebackers coach.
  12. He used to do exactly that when he was a player. Peesy hasnt changed. No excuse for the Bungles shooting themselves in the foot tho even if it is a high intensity emotional game
  13. If Vontaze does not get the benefit of any doubt neither should Peezy. They are both bad actors.
  14. Dont disagree. I doubt Vontaze ever knows what hes doing. But Dion has a point. Looking at it in slow mo it was a glancing blow and it can be argued that he was actually turning away. If he really wanted to permanently disable Brown he certainly could have.
  15. Dion says it was a bad call. Vontaze was trying to avoid hitting. Momentum type thingee.
