  1. They know better than that.
  2. Necessarily when he occupies two interior O- lineman. Or even when he doesn't because Thornton and Washington can't even match up one on one.
  3. This is true and pretty much the point that some are missing. There would be many fewer missed/broken tackles if he were there.
  4. Absence will be felt for the remainder of the season. At least. JMO.
  5. I dont think Glenn is right physically. I've never seen him play this badly.
  6. This crew gives the most penalties. They are always in every game.
  7. Fair enuf but there's another take imo. Lots here wanted Mike Williams in the last draft (with reason, and he went high in the first round). Williams and KB are basically the same receiver type. They beat up on smaller corners and win jump balls/ are redzone targets. True Williams is a bit faster but Benjamin is experienced and has already proven that he can not only play but excel in this League and even the most talented rooks have some bust/underperformance risk associated with them. And KB is only 26. So I think we traded a third and a seventh (both bearing some performance risk) for a high first rounder viz the 2017 class at least that is a more proven commodity. And Beane saying that they had a mid- first round grade on him in the 2014 class is saying a lot.The question in my mind is whether Tyrod has the stones to throw it to him when he does not gain much separation.
  8. That would be awesome but will never happen. Broncos are high on Booker and see him as the future of their run game.
  9. Been there and done that before (for a likely HOF LT no less). No repeat please.
  10. Exactly. Because he has never shown to be a good enuf passer to be able to do that with any consistency. So for now you have to assume that if he tried he could well turn into a turnover machine. Seems to be the opinion of our coaches/ coordinator as well. But he is not nearly as bad as his most determined critics would say. And I think I see some improvement in his play this year. Used to be that he was more one read and run. Now I think I see him keeping his head up a lot and scanning the field for receiving options when out of the pocket. That adds a dimension to his play imo. In the past I dont think he got much help from his receivers when plays broke down and maybe that has improved a bit as well. Our WR corps is much maligned and lacks a legitimate vertical threat (I dont know whether journeyman Thompson can be that guy) but Matthews, Jones and Holmes are pretty big targets and are not without skill. There is room for improvement in the passing game and who knows we may yet see it. If we do our chances of seeing the playoffs will be much better.
  11. Yeah but OTOH there are too many of them in risk management positions.
  12. Right. The storm troopers already have their very own forum on this board. We should all stick to football here.
  13. A little soft in the middle of the line. Hmmmm
  14. Whether Beane will actually be successful depends entirely on whether he can turn his draft assets to account. A lot of that will depend on how our "revamped" scouting department performs. As for the approach (process) I can't fault it in principle. What do you think BB would have done with Marcel? The one move I am still uncomfortable with is the Watkins trade especially given our WR situation, but thats JMO.
  15. Never found Saint Doug to have an endearing personality but he'll be on Marcel like an old fly on flypaper. I think there is a decent chance he turns him around. If he does Jags front will be phenomenal.
  16. Jaguars front is awesome.
  17. Well yeah sometimes for sure. What are you, some kind of pacifist? Nah. I think everybody is congenitally inferior. Especially you. Boys, if this is true I want you to know that you are one colossal pervert.
  18. Depending upon the end yes of course it can justify the means. That's pretty self evident. Dropping a couple of bombs on the Japanese spared the lives of maybe 200,000 US servicemen.
