  1. Yeah, typical rookie trying to do too much. Leading with your chin is about as dumb as it gets. And I've seen him do it before. Dude needs to understand the NFL is not Syracuse. Maybe you take that chance in certain situations, but there was no upside to that bonehead move.
  2. On a positive note maybe this will knock some sense into him.
  3. Pagano vs McCoach - the world championship of midget wrestling.
  4. If he's healthy I think Coach starts Tyrod. If the Bills gameplan on O is for the QB to execute from the pocket I'd rather see Peterman.
  5. Darnold's ceiling is elite and probably more so than any other QB prospect in the 2018 draft. He's been a little inconsistent this year but he's raw even for a college player. Thing is he consistently flashes jaw dropping ability in all of the required skills for playing the all important position at the next level. If he declares for the draft he will probably need two years as the #1 guy before he starts to take charge of games, especially if he goes to a rebuilding team like the Bills. In a best case scenario he'll be like Troy Aikman that way. In a worst case he will never achieve the consistency needed to be a great QB. Rosen is a great fit for a team planning on running a WCO. I'd be delirious if the Bills got either of these guys. Don't see it happening tho.
  6. JuJu's action was an infraction and part of the game. Gronk's was a crime that really has nothing to do with the game of football.
  7. Would love to see Nelson in a Bills uni. Like Dawkins he is incredibly strong. Two issues I guess. Lateral quickness - need to see more of it. And can he play on the right side, because Cogs is good for a couple more years (unless they go for cap savings and decide to part ways). I assume moving over should be an easy adjustment. O line could be one of the best bar none.
  8. At first I thought that the contact was not helmet to helmet and that JuJu made contact with his shoulder in the upper chest area. Had that been the case it would have been a legal block. I saw another replay that showed that it was indeed helmet to helmet - and therefore illegal.
  9. Yeah I remember Ward's hit on the linebacker, but it was to the head (broke his jaw). Not sure I see that on this play (though maybe it was). Didn't think all crack backs were illegal.
  10. I get the taunting penalty but not sure I understand why the block was illegal (though I gather it was). Burfict was in a defenceless posture but I'm not sure watching the replay that JuJu hit him in the head. Looks to me like contact might have been a shoulder high to the chest with no helmet to the head or neck. And JuJu did not "launch". Always had at least one foot on the ground, left foot at contact.
  11. Hopefully his main weapon in the passing game will be back and last longer than the first play from scrimmage.
  12. You mean like the one thing he does better is throw a football? Know what? I'ii take it.
  13. There's always a world of opinion out there. My reason: I saw him make throws (two good fades) that Tyrod just cannot make. He also made a few other throws (slants) that Tyrod can make, but Peterman's ball was more accurate. IMO if Peterman once gets a chance to acclimate to NFL game speed he will adjust and impress. He might even be good, but for sure he will make rookie mistakes. They all do. Patience.
  14. In this O Tyrod is clearly not better than Peterman. With a week of first team reps and a mediocre opponent, we will have our best chance so far to evaluate Peterman. If he is terrible that really won't be good for him. My prediction is that he will impress especially if KB is good to go.
  15. He will close out the season now. Then we will have a better idea, including those who think they have already figured things out.
  16. No separation on that play, but there was on others.
