  1. there are seriously about 7-10 players i would be happy with at that spot. i can be talked into any one so i think i will be pretty happy when the commish says...
  2. what i get from that article is that our defensive coordinater wouldn't be apposed to drafting a bunch more pass rushers and putting the most fearsome bunch on the field. i like this guy!
  3. i could be very happy if he held up a bills jersey at the podium.
  4. i've been interested in jeffrey, but i don't really know much about him. i like the size/athleticism/hands combo. but how is this kid wired? to be a pick at 10 (we can't just assume a trade down) you really have to know that the player has the drive to go along with the talent, and i think that's true of any prospect, not just jeffrey.
  5. is he a good kid? i know he has the dwi thing going for him, but is he a guy that has made some mistakes or a guy that just makes poor decisions? there's a big difference and that is definately something to check out thoroughly.
  6. i'd be pretty giddy to stack up on pass rush, but right now i'm pretty much fine with whatever they do...just no rb's.
  7. open competition, may it bring out the best in everyone!
  8. it leaves them all alone with one blocker to beat!
  9. it seems as though he wanted to build his foundation through the draft and add some pieces in free agency when he thought they were ready, if this happens, sweet murciful crap!
  10. it would be a good idea for buddy to kick those tires a bit.
  11. call me crazy, but i feel pretty good about pears/hairston at rt for now.
  12. yes, they are areas which could be upgraded, but i would just prefer to see buddy and his staff pick the player that they feel has the most to offer this team. i love the draft even though i am an extremely casual college football fan (and that's being generous)that first pick could be something special. yes it could be a bust waiting to happen. but i guess it's the known versus the unknown. and again, if you were talking a young stud front 7 player, i say go for it. just my thoughts.
  13. i would still rather use the draft pick at 10 to select a player that, in theory, really fits into what the staff is trying to accomplish. or have the possibility of a trade down and get some additional players. if it were a game changing de or lb, that's a different circumstance, but i am just not interested in losing this pick for a wr or corner. even if we choose to draft a wr or cb with this pick, i'm just looking forward to the excitement of the draft!
  14. comepletely agree with this. if an ol is the bpa, grab him and appologize to no one.
  15. after listening to stevie, kirk morrison and scott chandler talking to the boys on wgr, i was really happy that they were re-signed. the energy that came across from these guys was fantastic. i really got the sense that they want to play here, in buffalo, and be a part of something good. they buy into what the coach is teaching and really seem to appreciate the fans and community.
  16. absolutely LOVED his interview with the bulldog on wgr this afternoon. this guy has the attitude and enthusiasm that i love to hear in a player. he sounds hungry and humble. and he really comes across as genuinely loving the buffalo community. i wish him all the best and will be rooting for him this season.
  17. mr. wilson has doled out large sums of money in the past to people who in hindsight didn't come close to earning it. and he (or the gm at the time) has saved some money by not signing players that he/they thought were either past their prime or just not worth the money. they can't all be winners, but with this crew in place right now, i like our chances.
  18. if not this thread needs to be retitled "let's all pee in the punchbowl".
  19. seems like i remember roscoe taking a quick slant from losman maybe? to the house, and that was 95% run after catch. little guy hit the seem and was gone! but sadly, those plays were very few and very far between. i thought he would be the best screen reciever in the nfl...couple blocks and pretend it was a punt return.
  20. i really hope you are right.
  21. Next up for contract extensions are Fred Jackson, Eric Wood and Andy Levitre. I wonder what kind of money those players will be looking at? more importantly, how much will those players be looking for?
  22. donte wasn't a bad guy, he just wasn't a great player. and i think his biggest flaw was wanting all of the attention and getting into twitter wars with people (i assume many of them complete morons) and being overly upset by it. well, that and coverage.
