  1. sounds about right, qb's tend to shoot up the boards really quick between the end of the season and the draft. some of them seem to jump entire rounds at a time. and, as you said, there are a lot of teams that need a qb this year.
  2. and hopefully the bills will come to one of these conclusions.
  3. at this point the less i know of someone the more i like them. i'm kind of hoping for someone young and inovative, not someone with a name and a proven track record of mediocrity.
  4. losers whine about doing their best, winners go home and #@$% the prom queen. and it's a team sport, and it took all 22 guys to lose this one.
  5. i guess if you can only win one, that would be the one.
  6. a good game combined with a good combine or pro day could shoot him into the first. never underestimate the potential run on quarterbacks at any given moment in the draft.
  7. tight ends can really help out a football team. if you can find a really good dual threat tight end it helps out the entire offense. always room for good players like that.
  8. i like cj a lot and i am glad he's on my team, but barry sanders was incredible. the speed, quickness, agility, balance and vision were unparallelled by anyone i have ever seen. he did things on a football field that made you wonder if he was truly human. he made defenders look absolutely stupid several times a game, and there were times it seemed he would make all 11 defenders miss on one run, some of them twice.
  9. i would like to get a qb with a cannon for an arm and a huge chip on his shoulder.
  10. cox by a mile. being in the stadium for those games was an absolute pleasure, always lost my voice for a few days after a miami game in the early 90's.
  11. at this stage in the game i would like to see doug whaley elevated to the gm job. he is young and has aquired a enough experience between his time in buffalo and pittsburgh. i have no idea if he would be good, bad, or otherwise. but knowing he is more an up-and-comer rather than someone elses castaway, it seems like it could bring a new infusion of energy, perspective and drive.
  12. i have to go with smith. seems to have everything you'd want at the position and nothing is ever guarenteed. you've gotta take a swing to get the big hit, and i think with 13 years without the playoffs and 8 years with a losing record, it's time.
  13. i agree with this. and even in his post game pc's there is no fire. not that i need the man to yell and scream and throw furniture, but he sounds so tired and defeated, i really feel bad for the man.
  14. i'm a bit upset because all of the outside help we needed, we got this week. we just couldn;t take care of our own business. if it were the other way around i wouldn't feel so bad.
  15. he might if the ball hits him in the hands while he is sprinting down the field. that's it, we need the dread pirate roberts for hc! inego montoya for oc, and fezzig at dc. (appologies for spelling errors)
  16. well, seeing as though pittsburgh and cincy both lost today, the dream (however slim it was) would have lived on another week.
  17. this is a horrible fear i have been having lately. the guy has ubsurd talent and is young and healthy, a great attitude and work ethic. if he is not being put in a position to utilize the skills he has worked his whole life to hone, we won't have a snowball's chance in re-signing him. then we'll be drafting yet another 1st round replacement running back and watch him kill the nfl wearing a different jersey. i really don't want that to happen.
  18. i noticed all these points today as well. my neck hurts from shaking my head so much today. in the beginning of chan's carreer as bills hc, i thought he was getting the most of his talent and as time has passed it seems like he is missusing the talent that they have been building on this roster. also, situational playcalling and clock management are really ugly these days. very unfortunate because as a person i think he is very relateable and likeable.
  19. i think that this colorful post illustrates what we all saw very well today. the blunt phrasing is right on par with the filth that was spewing from my mouth durring this game and it really upset me. normally i am near delusionally optimistic and today i was ready for heads to roll. making it all the better, the stillers and bengals lost. i rooted for the cowboys for nothing and now i feel dirty!
  20. i was laughing quite a bit until i realized that this is really a great analysis of the offense. then i got sad. then i listened to more and thought there's no way i can be down listening to this!
  21. at the time he stepped down, it seems like marv was freshly hired as gm and was making comments about not having the coaching bug out of his system.
