  1. break out the magic 8 ball and ask it the tough questions.
  2. whether or not there is exceptional talent at the position, i have no idea. i just hope they find the best guy for the job.
  3. this is what has me a bit nervous about this draft. with the percieved "weak" qb class this year and so many teams looking for the next youngster, i really hope that the coaches, scouts, and gm(s) have the opportunity to get "their" guy at 8, whoever he may be.
  4. 10,000 posts and one of the best avatars in the house. well done, sir.
  5. or...the guy who was hired to teach the hc's offensive philosophies to the team, will also be working very closely with his quarterbacks to make sure they know exactly how to run this offensive system to it's highest potency. in theory anyhow.
  6. that was definately well done. ap was the best.
  7. very happy for the fitzpatrick family, regardless of what his future holds he will always be one of my favorite people to wear a bills uniform and i will always wish him well.
  8. while i would eventually come to grips with it, if the words "with the 8th selectio n i nthe 2013 nfl draft, the buffalo bills select -------, cb ------- ...there will be filth flowing from my mouth that will likely get me divorced and put my kids in therapy.
  9. your scouting report has me even more excited about coach marrone and hus ability to run a team, his attention to detail. also, the observation of nassib makes me feel good about the prospect of him suiting up in a bills uniform this year.
  10. i'm actually a lot more excited about coach marrone and his coordinator picks than i was with the mario signing. not to say i wasn't really hyped about mario coming to town, i'm just really excited about the new blood/new ideas/new direction at one bills drive!
  11. definately a lot of material to get through there, but you make some good points. i agree with the overall feeling here, i like the hire of coach marrone. i like the hire of a young and intelligent set of coordinators. the hackett hire seems like a good one to me because of the familiarity between the hc and his oc so it should be the right person to teach marrone's system to the team. and i like that they will have a certain degree of familiarity with a lot of the kids coming out in the draft. i am very excited to see how the rest of the staff fills out and to find out about the team philosophy on offense and defense.
  12. i would sign up for the bills' defense to "decline" all the way to 8th ranked d in the nfl.
  13. sounds good to me. it would be nice to have a dc with knowledge of multiple defensive bases, and how to attack and cover out of all of them. and i guess the really important thing will be if this guy can match the proper system to the personel.
  14. i've never seen the show so i could only offer that if it would show buffalo in a bad light then no way, if it would show buffalo as a good organization with a strong community and an attractive place for free agents to land, then sure.
  15. it's good, but you shood pan out a bit...i can't see the lombardi trophy he's holding!
  16. i tried to read that and about half-way through my eyes began to cramp up.
  17. good, bad or otherwise...it definately doesn't have that "here we go again" feel to it.
  18. the thing about a buffet though, you get to sample all kinds of different items, then when you know what you like and what you don't you pile that plate with what works for you.
  19. i believe you have to roll the dice on someone at some point this year. especially if the best alternative is to get a guy off the street and throw him in there with the hopes of drafting in the top spot next year. take the guy you like the most and do the best you can with him.
  20. absolutely. chan always struck me as a good guy, and i wish him well wherever his future takes him.
  21. i'm kinda hoping that the new coordinator will be able to communicate well, motivate his players to get the most out of them, and get them to buy into what he's teaching. i think if they know what they are supposed to be doing and why they should be doing it, that'll go a long way. a couple stud lb's couldn't hurt either.
