  1. depends on the grunts. the grunt of frustration was good, the grunt of being pleased with oneself was ok. but my favorite was the question grunt. maybe it was just being that age at that time.
  2. and even more importantly, it gives the fans a great reason to grunt at high volumes like a bunch of wild apes!
  3. i'm interested to see who sticks where on this roster. in my opinion, keep bringing in as many prospects as possible to give yourself the best 90 possible, and as the cuts happen, whittle it down to the best 53. and as to this player specifically, you never know 'til you try, so give him a shot and let him show he belongs on the roster or out the door. i can't wait to see what this team is going to look like for opening kickoff!
  4. and as an example of this, just look back to the tebow-fest of last off-season. piles and piles everywhere you went.
  5. there are few people in this world that i have as much respect for, but like as little as tom brady. he just reminds me of the dooshy guys in all those 80's ski movies.
  6. absolutely true. however, i am all in on the type of suffering that i am expecting. i think that this season will be filled with growing pains, adjustment failures, mental lapses, and dare i say a few more 15 yard personal fouls than we would want. but i also expect most of these mistakes to happen because of youth, enthusiasm and aggression. if this is the case and along the way we see improvement with flashes of good, young talent, i'll be ok with that.
  7. that was pretty nice what you did right there. is it really that the bills' front office are a bunch of wizards casting spells on all of the fans and making them believe, or is it that we, the fans of the buffalo bills, are so hungry for something good that we will be more than willing to buy what they are selling? or, do we just love our buffalo sports teams like we love our kids....proud, and we love 'em, but sometimes you just have to wonder "why?".
  8. yeah, i think it'll be fun this year. i think there will be some painful moments as well with such a young team. i just kinda hope that there are some people that are going to step into leadership roles for the team. who? i don't know. but i would love for there to be one player on this team that plays all out, expects the same from his teammates, and will raise holy hell if he does not get it. that would also add to the fun, but moreover, i think that's what this team truly needs, leaders.
  9. not only is it de-freakin'-licious, there is plenty to go around. seriously though, most of us are getting excited because we look and see what they are trying to accomplish and say "cool, i can get on board with this" rather than smacking our own foreheads and saying "what in the hell are these guys doing?" at least, that's what flavor kool-aid i'm drinking.
  10. i am very excited for this upcoming season. a lot of young talent and raw ability. here's to hoping!
  11. i also think that the loss of gailey/ wanny coupled with the addition of marrone/hackett/pettine could have an impact. and also, hopefully a positive one.
  12. well, ray lewis and ed reed are gone. so they will be lucky to win 3 games this year.
  13. to your point, i could see the bills trying to trade players that either don't fit the system, or haven't lived up to their potential. or just don't want to be a part of the bills' organization going forward. but i guess the point of my reply is, what the hell is a JAG?
  14. this is where i am hoping that nathaniel hackett's offense takes full advantage of having these weapons. and of course that these fast athletes are indeed football players that acclimate themselves to said system. i am so excited for preseason that it is embarrassing.
  15. i don't know if he would have done that here. i loved marshawn on the field, but he was definately not doing himself any favors off of it in buffalo. i loved to watch him play since he gave everything he had and refused to go down after first contact, but he was just such a bonehead, the guy was constantly making horrible decisions. maybe it took a change of scenery for him.
  16. i think that anyone who does not buy in and give it all will be shown the door.
  17. obviously, coach marrone cares about nassib. quite a bit too. he's a good kid that he spent a lot of time with and wishes him the best. it's good that marrone did what was best for the team, but a lot of this story deals with human beings, not just coaches and players.
  18. i expect to see an identity being formed by this young team and fresh coaching staff. i expect to see improvements through the season. and i damn sure expect the fans to be supportive of this team and have the ralph back to being a miserable place for opponants to play.
  19. it doesn't have to be about race, it could've been sexism, right?
  20. obviously hoping for manuel. but i would have to go with kiko alonzo. i keep reading about him and expecting him to come out on sundays with a full skull painted on his face and headbutting people with their helmets on. seriously though, his attitude and aggression will be totally welcome on this defense.
  21. yeah, we should only be taking pot heads and meth heads and coke heads and... oh, sarcasm, my bad.
  22. he was clearly upset with the bills for not picking nassib at 8.
  23. the potential is absolutely amazing here. the ability and pure speed is something that has got to be exciting these coaches just as much as the fans.
