The Legend of Kiko - Mic'd Up for Sound
swnybillsfan replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
how can you not absolutely love this kid? i have been waiting for a player to bring this kind of intensity to the defense for a long time, and i am so happy that he is a buffalo bill. a nearly perfect blend of talented and crazy! -
Thank You For Not Coaching
swnybillsfan replied to Billshank Redemption's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
i really like marrone and i have not thought that hackett is in over his head or calling poor games overall, but i would love to see these guys try a shot or two before halftime rather than just killing the clock and going in the locker room and waiting for the second half. -
ej will start, imo, because the hopes of the city and the jobs and reputations of many in the organization are resting squarely on his shoulders. and also because this guy's physical stature and ability are far and away better than anyone else on this roster at that position. but, that's only my opinion.

chandler had his worst game as a bill imo, those drops were absolutely brutal. and it seemed like every one of them was a first down.
-
oh, believe me, i have. and i have to say that tuel threw some passes thast had me saying shameful thinmgs in front of my children. chandler had some absolutely maddening drops, and graham looked like he does not belong on an nfl roster. having said that, i really believe that with even remotely competent qb play we win this game by 20.

smith has been injured and out of the line up for how many games?
-
i kept thinking they need to bench graham for easley, then easley gets in the game and has a pass bounce right out of his hands. i feel like charlie brown trying to kick that f!@#ing football...aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagh! but yeah, graham is surely underwhelming. if a pass hits you in both hands you should probably catch it. also, unless your hand is broken, hang onto the damn ball.
-
i kept on thinking that if we had even a barely competent qb we win that game comfortably. tuel had some awful throws...just plain awful. but chandler had some horrific drops as well. but, yeah, cut him and get him on the practice squad. if someone picks him up, so what, aren't you preparing for thad to be your number two?

for selfish reasons i am really hoping that he is back for the jets game, bought tickets for my stepson, myself and a friend of mine. and the game just happens to be on the boy's birthday. my friend's birthday is a couple days before. and for karmic purposes i would like to see ej out there against the jets for a shot at some payback and to get a game in to kick off some rust before the bye.

Dan Fouts, MFIC...Does it work today?
swnybillsfan replied to Beerball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
i think that you have to have it if you're going to be one of the greats. -
i am thinking that these boys are going to give everything they have and keep it really close. and i think that pettine's defense is going to be all over the saints' offense like stink on $#!!. mario comes up big 2 weeks in a row, kiko comes up with at least one huge play, and fred jackson continues to make bills fans around the world scream "i love this guy!" bills win 31-28.

i'm thinking when kw saw that ball on the ground, visions of cordy glenn popped into his head and he just thought "screw this, we're getting this ball!".

Marquise Goodwin Playing Catch Up
swnybillsfan replied to Braedenstearns's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
i am incredibly intrigued by goodwin, i think it's got a lot to do with the unfulfilled potential of roscoe parish. i really hope that nathaniel hackett is going to get a few plays designed specifically for goodwin. -
81 to 7 in your favor astro. and i echo the above sentiments in regards to your camp reports, they were just what the doctor ordered. good luck and thanks again!

Cleaveland Browns got all the love
swnybillsfan replied to Wattdogg35's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
there was an automatic mini-cinderella story for either team if they had won. if buffalo had won with all of those injuries and all things being equal, there would have been much national love...for about three minutes or so. -
NFL's Defensive rook of the month...Kiko
swnybillsfan replied to Kemp2Warlick's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
don't forget we also got chris gragg out of that deal, so there's that. but as far as kiko goes, i am very excited about his play. he was billed as someone with football instincts, intelligence and a high motor. thus far, that appears to be spot on. -
ESPN writer gives Eric Wood some love..
swnybillsfan replied to Kemp2Warlick's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
seems like everyone has always loves wood's ability and attitude but were a bit reserved to give him the ultimate praise because of the injuries. levitre was our o-line ironman, he was reliable and dependable and seemingly never hurt while injury-induced line changes were happening all around him. not to say he is not a talented individual in his own right, but eric wood has that special blend of talent, work ethic, blue collar appeal and downright nastiness from time to time. -

you do have a point, but in my defense, all these guys are a lot youthier than i am. -
Tickets left for Bengals game
swnybillsfan replied to CodeMonkey's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
i'm calling shennanigans! i think this year's bills team has a legitimate chance to win any game against any opponent they have this year. they are young, hungry, and showing that they are really talented in some key spots. they have players that are plenty capable of making those big, game changing plays. they are also quite capable of losing any game as well because of inexperience, injury and the costly mistakes of youth. but i digest, no game is unwinnable.
