  1. but is it worth giving up a couple players that are pretty good and one or two who are very good for one that is great?
  2. so gugs is being attacked by sqirrels while his wife is cheating on him with ghosts? man, i feel for that guy.
  3. i'm fine with andy serkis, the man has got some serious talent. if this new star wars series has anything remotely resembling jar jar binks...the streets will run red with the blood of my enemies. (or maybe i will just whine and complain a lot).
  4. incredibly pumped for x-men. first class was great and i expect that days of future past will also be top notch. spider man could be good, and godzilla scares the crap out of me...it could be really, really bad. on the other hand, i like movies that are so bad they are good.
  5. here's another song that has warren haynes in on it. from Corrosion of Conformity on the America's volume dealer album.
  6. i kinda like it, especially if the doomsday scenario unfolds (all 3 tackles, clowney, mack, watkins, evans and ebron all gone in the first 8 picks). with your plan we could conceivably pick up four solid starters to help solidify the team. and while missing out on some late rounders, you always have UDFAs and camp cuts.
  7. i am just hoping the players buy into the system like they did last year. if these guys believe in the defense and their coach, they seem to have the talent to do some nice things.
  8. if he is a good player with a bit of a mean streak on the field, i like that. if he is a good player but an absolute headcase, i don't like that at all. i am sure that the bills have done their due diligence here, and hopefully have a good idea of which category he falls into. if this is a guy that is going to go all out and try to dominate his man, finish his blocks, and put bodies in the dirt, then i won't be upset if he is the pick. even if there are other guys on the board i would rather have.
  9. yes. i believe he had some bills receivers go out to arizona for some fun and games. and say what you want about his talent, his receivers always had his back. as well as the o-linemen that he went out for those huge steaks with. i get all the "show me on the field" stuff, but these are the things that can bond teammates together and conceivably build relationships off the field that translate to playing hard for each other on the field.
  10. wish him all the best and hope he has a long, satisfying life. he seems like a really good person. the type of guy that takes nothing for granted and lives his life that way. good luck, mr. jones.
  11. very interested to see what he will look like on the field. i remember him being a very intriguing prospect last year and it will be interesting to see what he looks like in uniform with the added weight. will he lose any speed/quickness due to the added weight and what will he be like as a blocker? and will he be able to keep the weight on during the course of the season? very curious indeed.
  12. in the first round i think we need to get the best fit with the most talent and the right attitude and therefore he will make the highest impact. i don't care what position they draft as long as the guy is a high level producer on the field and not a complete d-bag off it.
  13. i really like this. it reinforces my thought that if EJ does fail, it won't be from a lack of effort. and i really think that if he comes in this year with the attitude that "this is my team and i will lead us to the playoffs", then good things will come of it. love this kid putting in the work.
  14. if my neighbor has a really pretty wife, i feel good for him. if my neighbor steals my wife, not so much. (i know it's a rather extreme comparison, but being a fanatic, there's a bit of that there.)
  15. so...you say you do some lawnscaping in your spare time?
  16. very strange indeed. the timing and content absolutely had grim undertones here.
  17. having said all that, i would actually much rather have the guy firing up the locker room than firing off on social media. but, i guess that i should just admit that i am getting older and the world has changed. oh well, guess i should get back to my rocking chair on the porch so i can yell at the neighbor kids to get off my lawn.
  18. as a general rule, rb's value has definitely declined in the nfl draft as a whole. and maybe OT will, as a whole, also decline. but i think that those premier tackles will always hold a lot of value. since the qb is the most important position in the game, the guys that are most important in the protection schemes will always have high value.
  19. astro, i like this mock draft a lot. the descriptions given really make a lot of sense. really like the med student from canada, regionalization and this year's underdog hero all wrapped into one guy. plus, he's the ot that coach marrone has been waiting to mold.
  20. well, that actually makes a lot of sense. more time to throw plus bigger holes to run through should equal better overall offensive performance.
  21. but bryon scott is not on the team anymore, therefore, 43 is not the mike. brady is now doomed.
  22. if this guy does in fact bring a passion, intensity and swagger to the bills then this is a great signing. win, lose or draw, if his mission is to make the patriot games personal grudge matches i may develop a man crush on this guy.
  23. ah yes, dangerous danny spivey. i remember the name but i don't remember a thing about him. i don't think reality has any place in the wwe.
  24. wasn't he paired up with sid vicious as "the skyscrapers"? if memory serves, the wwe gives people just enough of what they want and then go a different direction to make people really mad to keep coming back for more. kinda like "i hate that guy so much i wanna see him get his @$$ beat".
